I went to the Century Park location and had a very positive experience. I was getting a cortisone injection in my hip joint. Everyone was very friendly and informative. I was walked through the procedure, was asked about my comfortability, and was given very specific after care information.

Arrived early for my appointment and still was taken almost immediately as I had been fasting over 14 hours! Reception was very friendly and technicians were also friendly, professional, and efficient. In an out in 20 minutes! Great job MIC, your staff is top notch!

This is a very awful location to get in and our of.
GPS had us way south on Ellerslie Road.
Make sure you know how to get here well on advance.
The facility is very busy.
There is an elevator that will get you up to the second floor if you have mobility issue's

I had an MRI appointment yesterday for 3PM. Did the regular paperwork, invited to put on a gown and wait in the change room. I sat there until 340PM before getting into the MRI. When I checked the time at the check out desk, it was 420PM.

The MRI tech told me that, when you have a 3PM appt, you get into the MRI at 330PM. Well, I have had 3 MRI's here and the previous 2 times, I was out in an hour. The last one in April 2023, was 2 MRI's.

I feel if we are paying out of pocket, we should expect better service. I expect a wait time for an MRI from the AHS. (slow) Seems to me that the scheduling double booked that day.

My last two times, I rec'd a USB stick with the images at payment. Today, they asked if I wanted the USB stick or an email of the images. I chose email. Still haven't rec'd the images. This time was not good.

The clinic had lots of free parking and was easy to get to. The waiting room was clean and the wait very short. After taken to my change room I was immediately taken to my scan room and the appointment there was quick and efficient. Staff was efficient and friendly.

On nov, 08 2022 I had appointment for ultra sound and got a chance to meet Cathy. She is a very positive attitude lady. I glad to meet her I did not realize that I was there for exam. It was very welcoming environment. I definetly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks Cathy for everything.

The lady at reception was so lovely and very personable. I had to fast and the lack of food and caffeine was evident, but we had good laughs. The technicians were all friendly and seemed professional. I felt I was in good hands. The whole experience was speedy and as enjoyable as swallowing barium allows.

The staff a super nice and very helpful. My appointment was for 7: 30 pm but they had cancellations and called me to come in earlier. I was there by 5: 20 pm and done in 55 minutes.

I get a pedundal nerve root Injection here 4 times a year, and used to go to the UofA, the front ladies are amazing, and the back staff that do my Injections are caring, kind, empathetic, and just all around nice people. Love coming here and bonus free parking and not ever overly busy!

Thank you so much for the staff's compassion and kindness. I had a MRI December 6th in the evening and I think her name was Alex, both ladies were absolutely amazing and friendly she stayed in the room with me, even held my hand. I couldn't of done it without her. My head and nerve pain and severe claustrophobia. We need more people in the world like these wonderful ladies. So thank so much century location. Your the best!

Absolutely the best. Staff were friendly and treated me with respect and compassion.
My doctor ordered a lot of xrays and they did all of them at the pace I could manage. They didn't rush me. Extremely professional and they care.

I had 2 appts booked at this lication. Checked in and proceeded to a waiting room. I had been sitting there for 45mins and no one called me. I had been drinking water and holding my bladder full for one of my exam and I need to use a bathroom so badly. I had to ask one of passerby staff and asked to check my waiting status. Another 15mins, then I was taken into my first exam.

They are the worst at giving appointment time, whatever they tell you, they wont be ready at the appointment time they are giving you. You rather get there 1 hour late. Worst apointment administration ever.

They have some students and because they take time to learn the process; patients are not getting satisfactory service. They tried to blame us and did not provide all information that we asked for because they took some time to do their job which was not pleasant experience.
MIC: please make sure your students are trained enough to do the job on their own or have someone to supervise them at all time.

Just had a mri at Century park location. I was very anxious because I’m so very claustrophobic but the staff and technicians were unbelievably helpful. At one point I had to stop but they talked me thru it and even stayed in the room with me I truly didn’t think I could do it but with their help and empathy I got it done. Virtual hugs to all t to Hank you

Today I had a CT Scan procedure. The entire procedure went very well and the technician who looked after me was fantastic. She was always making sure I was comfortable and she truly cares about her patient. The rest of the staff at the reception were all happy, funny and I really think this is a team that enjoys what they do and have fun doing it. They all made my day! Highly recommended.

Went there for an ultrasoundand yesterday and experience was amazing.i checked in through phone and somebody called me right away. The ladies in the receptio were all friendly and accomodating. But the most amazing one is Allison who did my ultrasound. I was nervous and hesitant to do the other ultrasound at first as it might really hurt but she assured me she will be gentle and i can back out at any point should i don’t feel confortable. But she did an amazing job, She was very careful and gentle as if I didnt feel anything. I am so thankful to her as she showed concern to her clients like me. Kudos to this branch. Kudos to Allison!

My wife came in today for a Barium test. She is 78 and, besides the issue she was in for, also has BPPV and vertigo. The gentleman who was with her was very good and professional. The gentleman doing the imagining shouted at her all through the procedure. When people come in with medical problems they need some care and compassion. Perhaps this gentleman needs to consider another profession.

I went there on Monday for ultra sound and x ray in the morning. I am really impressed by the lady over there. I don’t know her name. Her service was excellent. She was so polite and kind. I am impressed by her goodness. Lady who did my ultrasound I will give her 5/5

Had my first ever MRI in my life. I was nervous and rang ahead of time asking questions. I was assured they have windows in the room and they are the only MRI facility in Edmonton with windows. The girl on the phone was very friendly and answered all my questions. I felt good and comfortable to proceed - however, this did not last once I was there in person. My Dr informed me I don't need IV for this and they would call to inform MIC. Also said if there's issues re IV - for them to call my Dr's office. Upon arrival the receptionist told me I'd get an IV - when I said my Dr said it is not needed (already had ultrasounds, biopsy and internal exams done - this was just an add-on to help with diagnosis). Yet the receptionist was very insistent stating 'so you're refusing IV' - she totally ignored the fact that I told her my Dr not need an IV and that she can call to confirm. We went thru this about three times which caused agitation. I was on time, yet I was kept waiting. Then when I was told to go change, I was left standing in this skimpy half-naked clad for 30 minutes. Then - when I got to the room - the room was tiny and dark with poor dull lights. It is bad enough to go into the MRI machine and I can understand that space may be an issue hence the tiny room - but with smart thinking you can make it bright by adding daylight bulbs and add mirrors to make a small space appear bigger. Additionally, the windows were covered - what is the point in having windows when you cover it? Remove the blinds! It seem that no one bothered to consider how the physical environment influence patients experiences! In the room I was not even told there'd be two techs - one just walked in after the main tech was there. Then the main tech talked with me repeatedly from behind my head - she made no effort to walk to my line of sight. On the website it stated this machine is the 'latest MRI' and 'run more quiet' - yet, when I got there I was told this run louder than the older machines. How misleading! I said clearly to the tech that I am nervous - no effort was made by the tech to explain how this machine works - each time the machine moved me unexpectedly after the tech positioned/moved me - this hiked up my stress since no one bothered to explain this. This happened several times without being informed. I asked at the start for a break midway - the tech did not offer a break. Towards the end the tech told me 'last one' - yet, she lied! She did another set without telling me. I yelled out at her in angst as I thought we'd be done - I was ignored! I was just looked at as 'the problem patient' - yet ALL these things added together caused me to react and be more stressed. When I got to the main desk to pay I was told I can't pay there - I had to go all the way back to the MRI desk. No one told me to pay at the MRI desk. All together this was an aweful experience and the room far from what I was told it would be!

I had a 20 week anatomy scan today, and although my tech was very polite she rushed through my scan quickly and didn’t attempt to view the gender. She said we’d have to pay privately to find out gender. I left in tears feeling like I didn’t matter.

Seen a card stating the gender of a baby from this lab. I think a medical lab would understand the difference between sex and gender.

The ladies at the front desk were friendly, the lady at the MRI desk was friendly, my MRI TECH was awesome, she did everything she could to make me as comfortable as possible for both my MRI scans. No results as of yet, but im sure who ever is responsible for that will do an awesome job. Thank you very much everyone at MIC.

Ps im claustrophobic.

I had two OB ultrasounds with MIC before but went to a different company today and realized how good MIC was. MIC has a TV so you and your partner can look at the baby comfortably and for a longer time. They give you like 10 pictures of the baby where as the other give you 2 and not even a good angle. The sonographer at MIC tells you what they measure, show you what is what. Overall I highly recommend MIC over you-know-what-it-is for this type of ultrasound.

Had my first ultrasound here today, was very timely and the technician was very nice. I am disappointed we didn't get a printout of our ultrasound though, only was told to take a picture of the screen with our phone. Hoping next time they can do a printout?

I had a Ultrasound of my right site done by a student. I don't remember her name but she was Asian/ China. She was so rough and I complaint several times. I have an kidney infection and she got in my upper body like a Butcher. One day later I still have pain and feel like handled in a meat grinder.
If you can avoid this place, do it.
Using students is alright, somehow they need to learn. Let them work unsupervised is a crime on the patient's what's coming already scared and stressed out. Now I'm afraid of my next ultrasound examination.

My ultrasound was performed by sweetest person on earth. She made me feel comfortable and she was super nice, she has the kindest heart. It was my first ultrasound and im young so i was nervous but she was very reassuring. Would recommend

Excellent experience. Walked in for an X-ray. The front desk receptionist was very professional and quickly processed my documents. I then was taken straight to the X-Ray waiting area where within 15 minutes the X-Ray Technologist called for me, introduced herself and quickly explained how the process will go. It went exactly as she said, very professional and as well very cheerful. In all I was in and out in about 25 minutes.
