I bought a bracelet on Friday, Dec 8,2023, for my wife for our wedding anniversary, which is today, Monday, Dec 11, for 750$. That sales lady was nice at first, she tried that bracelet on herself and she tried it, on my daughter as well to see how it looked. They said there is a 30 day bring back warranty on it as well. So today my wife tried it on and unfortunately she didn't really like that bracelet, so we went back to the store and wanted to return it.the same lady who sold me that bracelet, said she needs to talk to the manager and took that bracelet with her to the back, when she came back, she said that bracelet is used and they not gonna take it back because it's used and they take only brand new items back and refused to reimburse me. I talked to the Manger about that and I asked him, is that some kind of a joke because we tried that bracelet on in the store as well obviously it is some what used if people try it on in the store before purchase and he again said the same, it has to be new if you want your money back and refused to reimburse me. I ended up going to another Michael hill store and returned that bracelet with out any problems. Stay away from MICHAEL HILL AT WEST EDMONTONMALL, once you want to return something you just bought, they will send you away and keep your money. That store is a big scam STAY AWAY
Wanted to get my fiancés wrist sized for a bracelet and was told they don’t do that at this location, then asked if they had men’s bracelets in store we could buy, got told yes.then we asked if my fiancé could try bracelets on and were told no.associate was beyond rude.do not recommend.we left since she wouldn’t let us try any jewelry on.
Totally disappointing in store experience and customer service. I had brought a just purchased Michael Hill ring For my wife last feb.we still haven’t got the ring they told us it takes two week, its been two months now still no ring.i will never buy from this store again,
We came in as one of my diamonds were cracked on the ring. LESTER was amazing. When we purchased a ring we were not given the proper paperwork he made sure to get us in and out of the store, right away with the proper paperwork and my ring off to being fixed. Huge 5 stars
I take my engagement ring and 5 year anniversary band in every year to get serviced, as they are on warranty. I like to have it back by Christmas and our anniversary is December 30th, so like to have it for the entire holiday season. I took it to Michael Hill in WEM on November 28th and was in the store for over an hour going through the process. The wedding band was not on warranty, however they have taken it every year to get cleaned up. The manager, Ed, refused to include and told me I would need to pay for it, even though I told him that I never had previously. I sent it along anyway and asked that they tell me how much it would be prior to doing anything with it. A short time before Christmas we called and were told that it would not be back before Christmas. We then called between Christmas and New Years, and they said it would be back the following week. When we called in the New Year they said it would be back the next Monday. After that, my husband inquired further and found that the rings had been sitting in Ontario and they were awaiting approval from us for the repair. This was a shock, as no one had ever contacted us. We contacted the manager, Ed, that night, and were told the amount of the repair and we told him we did not wish to proceed, and asked that they be sent back by the following weekend (giving them 7 days). We called on the Friday, and was told they would be back Tuesday. When Tuesday came and we once again questioned them why they hadn't been returned by the weekend as requested, they said that they were awaiting approval for the repair from us. Therefore, Ed had not declined the repair and also had not requested they be sent back. Ed refused to call us back and had other team members respond to us, saying they were not aware what Ed had done. Cindy was helpful and was trying to get resolution for me, however there was confusion on which rings were on warranty and which were not, which I explained in detail to her. After several calls back and forth with Ontario, I was told that the rings would be sent back and be available for pickup on Feb 2nd, as the work on the warrantied items had not been completed, even though Ed had told us that they were. January 30th we got the call that the rings were back. I have never had a worse customer experience in my life, and as for Ed, he has been unwilling to return calls, send our instructions, or try to accommodate our requests after this ordeal. Unfortunately I am tied to Michael Hill for my warranty work, however I will never enter the store in West Edmonton Mall ever again.
My husband necklace clasp broke shortly after purchase, and even though I bought online, Lester at WEM fixed it within minutes. He made my whole day. Highly recommend this location!
Laudy deserves a raise! She did everything to help me with my order even if it means staying for more than half an hour after closing time. She was very patient and understanding, her service was beyond satisfaction. Probably going to come back because of her ️
I got a necklace for my mom this Friday, Saturday it was rusted.they use cheap silver & i would not waste my time coming here for anyone.they said they would try to clean it but there was nothing they would do after a half hour.don’t recommend at all.wouldn’t give a refund or anything.
Great customer service from Lester and Ed they've made my shopping so easy and very helpful. We have been shopping @ Michealhill for about 8 years now and I love their jewelry so I recommend their products.
I had a nice time scanning the place because of their high-quality jewelries. I gave my mother another present from this place and she loved it. Expect their rings to be expensive or any other products from their store since that is only apparent for getting legit and wonderful rings.
Poor customer service by Amanda. Need to learn how to talk to customers. Doesn’t represent Michael Hill brand at all. Personal suggestion don’t ask for help from this person very ignorant and arrogant. I am disappointed with the store. Won’t buy or recommend to anyone.
