What happened to customer service? ! Three employees standing around by the checkout - not one offered to work a till. So, we go to self checkout - the 40% off a regular priced item does not come up. We asked the three employees how to obtain it and were told we have to find a shopping cart with a QR code, scan it, and then scan it on the self check……. One of the employees actually complained that they may have to scan it for us. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m done shopping at this location.

I went there yesterday, and the gentleman helping me ar checkout was super nice. I called today to make sure they had more of the rit dye that I need. I said "hello how are you" and I am given a "fine". I say I just want to make sure you guys have this in stock. She puts me on hold while she has someone look. I'm on hold for a bit at this point. Another girl picks up.yhe phone and asks me why I'm on hold. I tell her. So she goes and looks for the dye. A minute later the other girl comes back, and says they don't have it. I placed an order for. Pickup and wow they do have it. I understand having a bad day. Or not seeing something right away. But common.

I got some comic books custom framed by Sophia. They turned out amazing, super happy, would definitely go back.

I broke a necklace so I went to get some supplies for that to Micheal’s in Shawnessy location.
Very clean store. All the employees were very helpful and nice.
Store was decorated for the spring season with artificial flowers and arrangements.
Everything was labeled right amd bold.
Check out was quick.

The best Micheals location in Calgary! If you have Elizabeth at checkout, be prepared to leave with a smile. Every employee was so kind and helpful, and I have never had any issues in this location. Definitely recommend! Plus, Elizabeth deserves a raise, she’s AMAZING!

I did curb side pickup today, it was ready within minutes! Easy to navigate. Kerri brought my order out with a smile. Excellent service.

I love the selection but I hate the cost. Even with a coupon it makes everything regular price. But I keep coming back because they have great things and the flower selection is fabulous.

Wife likes going there. We also had the glass replaced in a large art print at a reasonable price.

Brought a canvas here to be stretched into a frame. Was not warned that canvas could be damaged or wrecked when being put on frame. All the edges of canvas were cracked, 2 corners worn and edge of frame didn’t even look straight the way the backing was pulled. Canvas also had bubbles along top edge. And for $96 when we already supplied the print. Poor quality and customer service.

This is the first year I have started with art and crafts. It makes it easier when you live 5 minutes from the fabulous craft store. I always wondered if I could be creative. It is the best mental health break. There is something for everyone here and it is not as expensive as you may think.

Had a few pictures cleaned and the were fast and efficient. Karen was very helpful and even helped me bring them to my vehicle. This is the second time I have trusted them and I'm again very satisfied.

Was just at the shawnessy Michaels. There was a cashier there named Saul. Saul was so cheery and had a great attitude. Listening to them interact with customers made waiting in line less painful. Thank you Saul!

To get a custom framed photo or anything here is crazy expensive. Thats why they always have sales on because its marked up to the max.

Ordered an item online, associate left when he was called to help with pick up. Came back after we pressed button for pick up again. Spent over 8 mins fiddling with an ipad and then left again. Was constantly asking someone for help over their in ear mics and no one came to help him. In total spent 30 mins standing around waiting to pick up item. As well line ups at cashiers went halfway through the store. Poor organization.

Generally pretty expensive, but they have the widest variety of crafting supply compared to most other places in the city. Staff were very helpful!

I've been in there three times in the past two days. The store is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and personable. Every time I entered the store, on to find what I was looking for, I had at least 1 or 2 staff members ask me if I needed help. They have a large selection and always have what I am looking for, and are willing to help me get what me I need. Job well done.

You always can find some good deals match what you need. Just remember to sign up the enewsletter so you can get at least 40% off on one item on your purchase.

Useless.entirely useless. I spent 30 minutes being helped by 3 different people to find a white pen. The one lady just walked away completely and then I caught her again but she just walked over the cashier and started ringing people through. Also the help buttons dont work cause it dont matter how many times you press them you arent gonna get help

I had to return an item that cost nearly $300. We no longer had the box or even a receipt. The manager was very helpful and understanding of how our circumstances had changed unexpectedly. My wife and I cannot thank her enough for the over-the-top customer service.

The prices here are a little high but the quality does seem better than other stores. THe layout doesn't make much sense at this location though.

Wonderful place to find things for crafts or whatever project u are doing. I get all the stuff for my fairy garden from this store. Staff are very friendly

Customer service is continually lacking at this location. Once again I asked if they happen to have an item in back. The lady I spent 5 minutes looking to help me refused to look.

I do a variety of crafts and Michaels carries most of the supplies for them. I do wish they carried more embroidery and counted cross stitch supplies. It would also be nice if all stores carried the same basic supplies. Those would earn it a 5 star rating. I do appreciate the discounts that come from coupons to the 25% off your total regular priced purchases for answering a survey and getting the code. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well organised.

I got a painting framed here and the experience was great. The lady who helped me was extremely helpful and it was ready in 2 weeks and looks amazing! Also bought Halloween decorations here and they all look great and were very reasonably priced.

My daughter loves this place. I personally find it a bit expensive, but when I need something they always have it so I find it worth the price. They have a massive stock

If 0 stars was an option I would give it. Called to put something on hold because their other location ran out, they said they had it and put it up front. No one could find it. Or offered to get it. And they only had 2 left in stock. Needed it for an art show, hence putting it on hold. I suggest you save time. And order supplies online

The framing store here is the best. You can get a whole bunch of art framed without paying too much - because they have great sales, and an excellent selection of off-the-shelf frames that they help you with; while you do custom framing on those few special items. Consistently great service along with craftspersonship on multiple visits. Thanks again!

They do have the most vast array of drawing products than any other Micheal's I've been too. They also are constantly in stock with polymer clay in so many colours and with the main brands too. They also have a lot of cute toys for any age too. They live up to the trends.

The store has great stuff but very expensive. The washroom was a shameful mess. I told the cashier about it and she was rude. I asked for a manager and she ignored me. Also the cashier didn't apply a 40% off coupon and wasn't interested in rectifying the mistake. A customer should always leave with a smile. I did not!

The store itself is pleasant but it's hard to find someone to help you. Pretty expensive too compared to when you buy it from Walmart. If someone does help you, they are nice which is good.

Best crafts and arts supplies. This store is quite organized and clean. I have always had a good experience with the employees there, they are usually quite busy but once it’s your turn they take their time to help you out to find the supplies you are looking for. I wish there was a bit more staff of busiest days to assist their customers.

Not as good as they use to be. Pricy and limited supply if they have what you want. Id reather go to local hobbie shop or amazon. I also hate seei g the american price on it all. Add a sting.

Handy little store. Has a giant fabric section now which is extremely helpful. They have a small amount of markers and could use more, but they are accessible. They should keep the GellyRoll Gel pens more up to stock as though the last three times I've gone, they have been out. Staff are usually never to be seen and more out in the store would be helpful.

I always get overwhelmed here, lots of stuff always just this side of disorganized I feel. Go online for discounts on their website to use in store, it’s worth it.
