Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Whitecourt

Front desk lady made me wait until exactly 3pm before checking in or I had to pay an early check in fee, it was 2: 55. She was incredibly unfriendly.

There was a used razor in my room and it generally was not as clean as it should have been. For example, what appears to be someone else's toothpaste in the bathroom wall. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that is happening in adjacent rooms. The fitness room is nice though.

They helped me out when I needed a place to stay during a difficult time for the area and people being evacuated. Nice and very decent place to stay with a great gym.

Microtel let me in on short notice as an evacuee. They gave me a roof for 5 days and fed me in the morning. Kind hearted folks.

A surprisingly excellent facility and wonderful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

This hotel serve the worst breakfast. Coffee was cold.when I complained to the staff.they gave a cold shoulder

Convenient location great hotel and clean rooms. Hot breakfast is a nice touch.

Very professional, clean and reasonable pricing. The breakfast is a step above most others, this is the only place i stay in whitecourt now.

I stayed here for a day was very very nice and clean and the price was very reasonable. I lived right beside this place for a few years and spent a night in there to check out the situation. Keep up the great work. The staff was very helpfull

Jacob at the front desk was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. Room was good. The shining jewel here is the amazing fitness center and suana.

Our room was clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. We requested an early check-in and they were able to help us despite the busy weekend.

Don’t bother booking this hotel with your little ones.
Hotel staff is rude to kids and unprofessional enough to tell guests to feel free to ‘move’ out of the hotel when provided a feedback.
Rooms are not set / cleaned on daily bases if you are staying only for 2-3 nights.

The staff were very nice and attentive. I stayed for a couple of months here and they would save me breakfast as I worked overnight past the time it ends. Very kind people and the room was very comfortable. I stayed in a one bedroom and had 2 tvs! Talk about living the life

Was a clean hotel, rooms are nice and updated. The staff were lovely and was close to many amenities.

I was disappointed in the bigger two queen room I stayed in. 2/3 lights in my room were broken, the beds were okay. The bathrooms are very small and you are expected to pay for laundry facilities in a working town.
The staff were friendly, breakfast was decent. This hotel just wasn’t for me. I also feel the price was too high for the quality of room/stay.

Planned to meet our son there as he's working on a pipe line in the area. I don't know how long the inn has been open but it looks like a fairly new place.

Great place to stay! Just had to visit my boyfriend during his stay. Very clean hotel and I feel safe and this hotel follows health and safety guidelines Staff are accommodating and friendly. I met the young lady Manager on duty and she was very nice and polite. Breakfast is not too bad and understandable because of covid19 and I will stay here again when I get a chance because I had a great time spending my time here.

Although this hotel is very clean and pleasing to the eye.dont let that fool you! The beds were so uncomfortable! When I finally fell asleep on my lumpy mattress, by morning my poor back HATED me!
Breakfast was also only 6-8am so there's no sleeping in on holidays if you want your free breakfast either.

Nice and clean hotel. Wilfred at the front desk was really nice and helpful! Everyone is willing to help you and make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is good and once again, staff are really friendly and helpful! Will come back for sure!

Rooms are clean and comfortable, although bit small. Main disappointment is the fact that web site promised " free hot breakfast", however in reality they have pathetic "food bag". I understand Covid etc, but they should do what they promised.

The room was very clean. The american breakfast is served a little too early, up to 8 AM. But you still have a packaged breakfast after that time, which is nice.

Only 3 stars because of Covid 19 there was limited housekeeping and no breakfast available. I'm sure that this will change. The rooms however are comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Sheets are over starched.felt plasticky. Pillows werent great either. They should call Wyndam Garden in Leduc for bedding tips as there bedding and pillows are awesome.

Rooms were clean, but wasn't very happy to find out that the hot tub was out of service. The kids were looking forward, booked prior to going to Whitecourt for snowmobiling. Discounted rate should of been offered to accommodate for the inconvenience.

Breakfast closes at 9am!? I travel all around Alberta. The only hotel breakfast that closes this early. Ridiculous

Me and my family are here over the Christmas holidays, outstanding customer service, delicious hot and cold breakfast, clean spacious rooms, We come to Whitecourt often and have been in most hotels and the microtel is by far the best place to be. With good prices)

Love this hotel. Love attention to details in a room. Cozy environment, good beds, nice showerhead, big desk for work, usb plugs, seat by the window, friendly staff, etc.

Great place to stay! We have stayed in many hotels, paid way more money for a night and not nearly as nice as this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly, free breakfast, price was right and they offered pay per view; the only hotel we found that offered ppv. Would defiantly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable. Nothing outstanding. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good and well run.

Clean rooms, good breakfast and service, and a great workout room. A decent walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants. Never had an issue here.

Nice place but poor design. I could hear the TV from my neighbours room and the noise from the highway.

Nice hotel, very comfortable, friendly staff. Because I was travelling on Christmas day I even received a small gift basket and card.
Recommend!

The rooms were clean and spacious for the price. One of our rooms did not have a working Ethernet, but otherwise it was good to go!
