I had called around in a frantic trying to get my parking brake looked at. They got me in totally last minute within 10 minutes. Fast service! Really helpful. Everyone I spoke with at the service desk was so friendly, and knowledgeable. I was in andnout within 1 hour. Least stressful experience at a shop I've ever had.

Went looking for a place to get a nail in my tire fixed quickly. We had Nethaniel help us, he came and took a look. And squeezed us in right away. He was super friendly and helpful! Definitely the best tire place in the area by far!

This place will rob you blind!

Made over $100 worth of food donation a couple months back as part of a tire change promotion they were running and did not change my tires for some made up reason. Said they'd be happy to honor my tire change another time, as part of the donation I made.

Now its another time and they pretend that incident had never occured at all, say its been years since they had that promotion when it was less than 5 months ago. They wiped my name and info from thet database to pretend i was never there, and refusing to honor a tire change that I am owed.

Don't trust whatever promotion they run here, they're just faking it as they're only after your money at the end of the day. It may have just been a $100 worth of food donation, but I could of made it in my name instead of theirs just they can get a tax break by robbing people blind.

Find a reputable mechanic to do your business with, not these clowns.

Its been almost 5 days since I've filled out that form with full details on my situation and no response (not surprised). I knew from the get go this joke of business had zero intention of responding, as their inability to resolve simple issues they've created reflects on the medicore service they provide.

However, I do feel obligated to make consumers aware of the scam they are running here. After reading a number of recent comments made here, It's become more clear to me about how poorly this place is run, with them charging exorbitant prices for incompetent work (some leading to safety issues).

For the safety of your vehicle, your life and your wallet, steer clear of this place! Trust me everyone, its not worth the risk coming here.

Found a really big bolt in my tire and they got me in the same day and fixed it in no time! Thank you Nathaniel and Melvin!

Booked in for 930am said cpl hrs. I went for walk and coffee 2 hrs later truck still parked not even touched. 2 hrs later I gave up and left and WILL NEVER RETURN.don't say couple hrs and waste 4 hrs of my time and the job wasn't even started by then. Lousy time management. Otherwise staff was friendly.

Had my car battery go dead in a parking lot next to them.
I asked if they had a booster pack we could use.
They said sure and saved the day.

I came in today at 8: 40 (was late for my 8am appt) Will told me service for full synthetic oil would take 3-4 hours, I stayed and waited anyways. At 12: 30 Nathaniel told me service is done for my rav4, was going to the counter to pay but he said I don’t need to, I was like how come? Seriously? He said Midas courtesy and for waiting that long. Still can’t believe if its legit but hopefully I dont’t get an invoice for the payment later on. Just want to thank you guys and the Mechanic for looking after my car, sorry I forgot about the nut key.

William and Nethaniel were amazing in helping me pick 4 NEW TIRES! Thank you guys! I will definitely be back for more mechanical work!

Oil change done, didn't complete what was on work order, specified the air pressure checked. NOT, reset oil life again. NOT, rotated tires again. NOT. Set photos of vehicle with tires off to show brakes, never removed tires, not sure where they get this from, thinking someone else that requires work. Only have 33000km Oscar and know they don't look like pictures.buyer beware.make sure to check and question whether it's done or not.

Terrible service, free tire swiping with donation to food bank! They get ya there take an hour and a half to take your tires off then tell you your tires are expired and they can’t instal them…. Like frog off man, i’m my 41 years i’ve never heard of something so ridiculous! 6 years is too old for tires according to them

then as they’re backing out my truck i immediately notice a foot long scratch in the paint that wasn’t there earlier! I know this cause i washed it and wiped it down myself earlier that morning while waiting for the place to open! It obvious to me and any other person that the technician removed the tires placed them at the back of the truck and scratched the paint on the way by!

Complaint was filed with their corporate offices! Do not take your vehicles to Midas for anything! Scammers and vandals!

Horrible experience at this Midas. Experienced the most terrible customer service. Manager was extremely rude and unwilling to help me for a couple minutes and insisted I waited 3 hours in -40 weather! Don’t go here, deserves 0 rating!

When i booked my appt, the lady on the phone quoted $80 per tie for tpms replacement
So i booked it in
Not even close to that quote! So I opted for just an oil change. My appt was for 3pm, and it would be 2 hours before they could get me in. What's the point of appt? Not once did they tell me it would be a wait, I only found out by the 330 appt asking
To me, that's bad customer service.
I didn't have 2 hours to edit so I went home. Called midas again to see about that way off quote, she again said 80. Put me on hold after I explained they charge a Hella lot more, said the shop manager would explain to me why the extra charges and why her quote is way off. Rang and rang and no answer. I called back, same thing, tried for a few hours, still nothing. Think now I'm blocked. I've always had great service but not anymore. So disappointing.
While i was there, a guy came in freaking out on them about his daughter not getting anyone to look at her tire and sent out in the freezing cold. Felt for this dad, the manager could have handled the situation a bit better in my opinion, instead of snapping his fingers and putting his hands up in this guy's face. He's protecting
his daughter, have Compassion.

Midas on Parsons Road were quick, efficient and friendly to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and I will be using them for my automotive needs in the future.

The service in MIDAS is very good all the problem of my car was solve and the representative of midas they approaching to the customer was friendly in short word midas is #1 shop for me.incomparison to my previuos repair shop that i have before.

I had to wait forever but they fit me in short notice and the courtesy inspection was appreciated

I brought my car in to Midas before the snow and today for an oil change. For my tires, Tracy was kind and funny and very communicative about delays due to the rush of winter tires. He answered all of my questions and showed me the tires, and helped me out with an online quote issue that I had.

For my recent oil change, Nathaniel was super nice to deal with. Really friendly and personable and got in touch with me right away to let me know about my brake fluid, then fixed it all up 2 hours before I had asked for it to be finished.

The courtesy check was thorough and included photos.

I’ve had a really great experience both times and will keep going back for my routine maintenance - I admittedly know absolutely nothing about my car and at no point did I feel pressured to do something it didn’t need or taken advantage of in any way. Thanks for the great service!

I had taken my car in for a wheel alignment, was told by staff member that they couldn’t today, front staff is very knowledgable and understanding of the issues was told needed front left bearing and front left inner tie rod the day was late and they were closing so I left wait until Tuesday took it to my mechanic results were both tie rods, so they midas would have done work that was not needed and would have wound up costing me more in the end, always get a second opinion

I was in for an oil change and Tracey said it would be a little late and I was ok with that. I waited and they were very good to me today I appreciate them at Midas at 50 Street. Thanks Terri

Even though this Shop was very busy they got me in and got my tires installed.

Always the best and first place I’ll go, I’ve have taken in a couple vehicles over the years. And never disappointed, they are always true to their word and no b.s. I extremely appreciate and recommend Midas for all your vehicle needs!

What a scam! If I could give no stars that would be correct. Came in for a wheel alignment, tire swap and balancing. Tires where removed without taking old weights off so will have slow leak issues in the future. Balancing was forgotten and car shook worse when I returned to get it done. Mr lube did it right afterwards. And alignment wasn't done because I took it to kal tire after and it drives straight now. They spend time rummaging through your engine instead of the requested service. Many of my family and friends were also scammed by them. Bring a chair to sit on because they only have 2. I strongly urge you not to bring your vehicle here.

Nethaniel was fantastic. We are a business whose rental car had a flat. They got us in that morning and stayed in touch keeping us updated with friendly, courteous service. The courtesy inspection was greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend.

Today I went in to Midas on 50st and 130ave and I just want to say that Gord and Nethanial were amazing! I highly recommend anyone to at least try them out…I’m positive that you will become a regular!

I’d rather drive a 100 km than go back go this location. First of all why are they even by “appointment only”? Other oil change companies are able to take walk-ins.

So anyway, I booked an appointment online the day before, and their booking portal only provided me with a window. I selected the 4-6pm window because I finish work at 4pm each day. Around midday the next day, they confirmed a time and decided on 4pm. I show up to the location at 4: 30pm and without hesitation the ginger gentleman was happy to tell me to come back the next day because I missed my appointment. I’d advised I’d be willing to wait but based on his feedback it didn’t seem like he was willing to accommodate me. He said he’s expecting a 4: 30pm appointment. I still waited around 20 mins & enquired later if the 4: 30pm appointment arrived- no they did not. So why in the time the 4: 30pm appointment was late and I was waiting couldn’t he have accommodated me?

I tried again asking if I removed the tire rotation and just did the oil change, if it would make a difference, he said no- it’d take the same time. I ended up going to Lube FX+ and on my way from this location, the work bay had all of ONE car being worked on in the bay (empty otherwise), and the 3 workmen were unoccupied. So they are willing to offer grace to the appointments who may or may not be on time, instead of assisting a customer literally in front of them. BS! In my eyes that is extremely poor service, and a bad customer experience it being my first time there. That’ll be my last time though. Keep turning away money, hope that works out well for you.

Lube FX+, was able to take walk in appointments, they offered me something to drink while I waited, didn’t have to exit the car, offered me coupons and everyone was super pleasant. Sold!

We took our car to get diagnosed. They had it for the weekend and then we decided to get another opinion because wanted to make sure and they didn’t charge us for the diagnosis and were very understanding about the second opinion

Excellent service. Nethaniel was very informative and knowledgeable. Came in with a deflating tire and was able to pinpoint the problem. Was able to answer my question about using air vs nitrogen and charge me nothing for it. Highly recommend, would definitely came back.

This place is great. It's always a smooth process - The staff are very friendly and helpful (the other reviews are completely true, Rudy is great!) The prices are reasonable. The work is always done pretty quickly, it's not one of those places that will make you wait all day for a simple thing. They do a good job. Overall I feel good bringing my car here.

Took my car into the dealership I bought it to change my brakes because my car right rare brake was on a metal to metal. I was took my dealership to bring it next week around Thursday. I ended up at Midas touch on 50 St. & 130 Ave and man did the guys at Midas touch got my car in within few minutes. Many thanks to Kevin and Rudy for looking after my car. Keep up the good work guys!

Sitting here with Kevin and LOL Black Thunder (Rudy)! Hahaha…awesome friendly bunch of guys…getting my tire repaired and watching professionalism at its finest…great work and perfect atmosphere. What more can anyone want?

Worst experience ever they where fixing a peice that broke from my brake drum and then go and charge me 730$ for 1 part for the drum and then go and change my emergency brake even tho it wasn’t broken to begin with they call me a LAIR and said no it was broken and it wasn’t I was just using it at my house before bringing it in so they charge me for a brake kit and the emergency brake doesn’t work anymore they didn’t even check to see if it works I told them why didn’t you check they go and say our bad we should of checked.

Went to pick up my car finally after a week back and forth looking for parts I went in and told him I want a refund for my emergency brake that wasn’t broken in the first place he told no it was broken get out of the shop the rudest person and the worst place I ever went DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF STAY AWAY

Had appointment last Saturday at 2pm was left without vehicle for two days took half a day on Monday to get my vehicle picked up no response from the Midas still waiting for alignment print out. The vehicle was there just for alignment and still no answer. Please be aware of this shop not satisfied with their service and work. No calls to let you know if your vehicle is ready or not and Good luck getting a hold of this shop.

I would never go back here again after the completely underwhelming (and frankly infuriating) experience. They replaced an already expensive part and charged notably more than it should have, then didn’t even address the issue the vehicle was brought in for but told the vehicle owner that it was “good to go”. We didn’t even have to drive the vehicle off the lot and you could hear the rattling that we brought it in for (exhaust manifold), which showed me they didn’t test drive it before they gave it back. We had to call back multiple times to get a response and were promised someone would contact us but it didn’t happen, except maybe one staff member occasionally. When we finally got in store I confronted a staff member about the complete lack of communication, he got very aversive saying he called back everytime and denied what we told him (we had to call MULTIPLE times and waited multiple weeks). We have the phone records to prove it but not a single apology was given. If your staff don’t communicate, that’s not my fault, that’s the business’s fault. When I asked why they don’t communicate to each other to ensure things aren’t missed and the services are provided as promised, he didn’t have a valid response and threatened to refuse to provide the service that was planned for that day. If your customer isn’t happy with how your company handled a situation and they are trying to make sense of it with you but your response is to threaten to refuse service because you don’t have a legitimate response back to the issue… that shows a lack of professionalism and accountability. I even contacted multiple outside mechanics to get their honest take on the situation and they all agreed that Midas overcharged and handled the situation very very poorly. $6K later and the car’s engine light is back on two days after bringing it home from Midas…. Save yourself the money, headache and trouble and go somewhere else but here.

These guys were very helpful was able to get my car in last min for oil change they also explained to me the issues wrong with my car and told me which ones I should get looked at right away and how much it would cost me so I have a detailed plan now on what to do with my car going forward I never receive this kind of service at Honda ever (my car is Honda civic) I will definitely be going back to them.

Was quite surprised how friendly this place was, have gone 3 times now and each time I've went there was always some deal going on. My car dealership was easily 120-130 for a simply oil change. Here it was generally 60-70 bucks. Would definitely go back to this place

The most shoddy and scabby workman ship i have ever seen. I wouldn't let these guys change a tire, look around before you take your vehicle here.absolute garbage.i went back 6 times for rework and they still haven't fixed my problems.

Service from Joe is stellar. Have been coming here for years and can always count on him for his 5 star service. My most recent oil change last week was quick and efficient. Moira at the front desk is friendly and inviting. 10/10 recommend!

The staff take their time to explain which repairs are more imperative, and which ones may be able to wait. I used to take my car in for repairs at the dealership it was purchased at, but the staff at this Midas location have earned my trust and the techs have always given my car top quality service.
