I had a scheduled appointment booked in for an oil change at 82 Ave location. As I arrived, they couldn’t fit me in today because only one mechanic working. He tried to reschedule my appointment for another day. Which I continue to say I would take my service else where.

He was nice enough to call another location for me on my behalf.

I was referred / transferred over to 104 street, which I was disappointed at first because I had to drive an extra 15 minutes. But Steve Donnan was working at the front and had change my whole experience on going to get oil changes.

I would definitely recommend and will continue to keep going to this location.
Customer service is there top priority there.

Five stars and two thumbs up for Steve and the crew working in the garage.

Huss was extremely helpful! Despite being extra busy installing winter tires for people it was our first day of snow this year. He managed to squeeze me in for a flat repair so I wouldn’t get stranded in this awful weather. I get all of my tire work done at Midas and it has been a good experience. Highly recommended.

I booked an appointment two weeks a head when I showed my an appointment. The guy told me we can’t do it.
Waste of my time. He was so rude.

Came in on a Saturday at 3pm for an oil change. Was in and out in 35 minutes! Great service. And fast! Huss and Ashton were both very professional and helpful. I’ll be back! Thank you.

Spent $2500 on my brake system last year, under the guarantee that everything would be covered under the limited lifetime warranty. Come in today cause the system failed and now I'm being gouged another $800 cause apparently my rotors are cracked and that isn't covered. Rotors should not be going bad within a year.
Been coming here for 5 years, definitely never coming again. Please expect to see me in small claims court about this.

Had my oil changed here, price of the oil change was fair, it took longer than expected though. When I got the car back the interior stunk badly of body odor and on the outside the front hood was covered in greasy hand/finger prints. Attention to detail and courtesy to other peoples vehicles would go a long way.

I set an appointment for 12pm. I got there at 11: 45am. When they finally helped me out, they said that my service (oil change that I had scheduled an appointment) would take more than 3 hours! So, why do they request an appointment? To no mention that they would charge me $150 to check an engine light on my dashboard. Please, stay away from Midas!

I will never go to a different mechanic again. This experience has changed my entire opinion on Midas. I have to say, the first time I went a year ago, I wasn’t totally impressed, and was skeptical of going back. I will now recommend this place to my friends and family and everyone else.

I cannot thank you enough. The kindness, empathy, honesty and compassion you showed is something I will never forget. Theo Saravanamuthu, you need to represent this entire company. Theo went above and beyond with us. We came in for a peace of mind inspection for a car we had just purchased off marketplace. Turns out the car was basically a complete write off and we got ripped off. We were not in a good place at all mentally and with this economy and now this loss, financially.

Theo went above and beyond and shared his compassion. He was open and honest and showed us his true heart. He gave us great advice, and tips that were incredibly helpful. In addition, he covered the cost of our inspection, given our situation.

When we can afford to pay it back, we will in anyway we can. Not only are you fantastic at your job, you are an incredible human being that Midas should be incredibly proud to have. I would love to see you run this organization, you truly turned the entire vision we had of this company upside down. We will be coming back with all of our car needs along with our friends and family. Midas get this guy a promotion. He is working incredibly hard and is deserving of everything.

DON’T TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THIS COMPANY.

Came in for an oil change, ended up with a big leak coming from the rear brakes. And they had no idea how it happened. The car was totally fine when it got in to the shop, they didn’t even mention anything about it when I came back to pick up the car and made me drove the car without brakes basically.

They don’t want to take responsibility to what they did to it and the only thing they offered was a free inspection to see what they did.

Excellent service that surpassed expectations. They made sure job done right. Parts delayed but they worked past closing time to finish. Kept to quoted estimate. WOW. Friendly too.

My wife's car broke down in front of Midas, so naturally we took a tow into their garage. After paying a $1100 repair bill for 'replacing the ball joint and cv axle' we were back on the road.
Fast forward a few months, the same wheel had fully disengaged on the highway and the car was once again towed to a shop. (obviously a different one)
The diagnosis from our other mechanic was that Midas failed to secure the nut holding on the ball joint and did not install a cotter pin as a backup measure.
Terrible experience.

I made an appointment and when I got there, they had no record of it. I was a little frustrated, but the gentleman said he can book me in that day but the wait would be long. I wasn’t there long at all, he got my truck in quickly. I wish I could remember his name because he deserves the 5 star customer service. I would definitely go back there.

Amazing customer service. Theo was able to answer all our questions and made us feel very welcome. We definitely left with smiles on our faces and will be back should we need anything!

The customer service at this location was exceptional. Theo was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. It was an absolute delight to see how all customers were treated. They also got me a good deal on tire replacements for the 4 wheels of my SUV. In addition, it was obvious that the technicians paid particular attention the vehicles they work on. Really happy with the customer service received. Had my vehicle towed here, not knowing much about the shop, and was pleasantly surprised. Great commutation was delivered from start to finish, good prices, very happy with Midas. 5/5, will be back.

Came in to change my taillight bulb, and it was very quick and easy, spent less than 20mins there. Theo is also a real one, he was very kind and helpful!

Very disappointed with midas, I did an oil change on my dodge journey on friday Sept 3rd, we had a soccer tournament that long weekend on Calgary so we drove to Calgary that day, couple days after the oil light come off and smoke came out of the engine, we had to stop in the middle of the highway and call for a tow company to take the car to the nearest mechanic shop, when the car was Inspected there was no oil and there was oil everywhere on engine, they found leaking from oil filter housing, unfortunately they did something wrong when they changed the oil.
We spend over $500 just in towing the car and the mechanic shop, not including extra expenses as a rides to the places we had to be.
We went to Midas when we came back to Edmonton, we want them to take care of this problem cause by them, first someone at that location told us that they don't cover thirt party Bills, we asked for a supervisor and now we are in contact with someone at headoffice, he told us that they had to sent it to the insurance because is over their limit, is now over 42 days and we still waiting, I just want them to take responsability, I shouldnt be out over $500. I know anyone can make a mistake but they have to make it right, if you take your car for an oil change or any mechanic fix you like to know that they gonna do it right even if there is a mistake in between
As soon as I have and update on this situation I will update my review to let you know how it end.
