The service I got today at midas on macleod.was wonderful does so kind to costumer I love ya'll need to keep the good work. The car running great hopefully my wife has nothing to complain about

I had an appointment on Saturday December 30th and couple hours before my appointment they call me and told me their guys didn't show up and they are on shortest stuff and cancel my appointment for that day and move it to January 1st at 10: 00 a.m. Because of the day I was not sure and asked him again if they are open on January 1st and he said yes. If not they will call me back.now it is January 1st I was at the front of the Midas door for oil change and they are closed and I don't know what they told me they are open and move me on January 1st for appointment. I'm so frustrated about this situation.they destroyed my holidays.

I needed my exhaust checked due to a loud muffler sound. Service and overall experience were outstanding in every respect (ease and speed of booking an appointment, prompt communication, excellent service, fair cost, friendliness). 10 out of 10

I completed my work with them on spark plugs and brakes. They do good work and timely. Honest in their findings no hidden or over charges.

Very accommodating and knowledgable. Worked on the manifolds and exhaust system of my 1964 Corvair.

Fast, reasonable pricing compared to competitors and also have frequent coupons for there oil changes. Assistant manager was very friendly and definitely will be back. (just check you're location if coming as there is 2 macleod midas)!

Went in to have my tires switched over and also added an alignment after they did a check for me. Heather was amazing on the phone booking me in when I had issues at Costco. Dean checked me in and was great explaining the process and also at checkout the life of tire’s remaining. They were honest with repairs needed and a plan for my tires moving forward. Would highly recommend!

This is an awesome Midas run by awesome people. I Took my civic to this Midas to have my muffler repaired and the manager Ryan was able to squeeze me in and have it fixed within a few hours. He didn’t charge me for the initial inspection and even topped my car up a bit with oil when they found that it was too low. 10/10 would recommend this shop. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

The team at Midas Macleod Trail location are awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We brought in our 2006 Civic thinking it needed a new battery or alternator but turns out it was just a loose wire! They fit us in to their day and were so great.

Always have to give these guys a 5/5. Super friendly and accommodating. I booked my appointment first thing this morning and got a time for 10am. Called at 7: 45 to ask if I could come in any earlier but stated 10am was fine. Ryan said if I could get there asap they'd fit me in. So I drove over there, got there just after 8am and was out by 8: 30. They told me some stuff was wrong, I always appreciate the visual inspection, wasn't able to afford it that go around but they made a note of it on my file for next time, no pressure or upselling here. They're my go to place for any car related repairs. Cheers yall! =)

This place has incredible customer service and communication. Heather was very helpful and their integration with technology in being able to send me detailed pictures and reports of what was wrong with my vehicle before they fixed anything reassured me that I was in good hands. I really appreciate the service!

Very glad I got the oil changed for my Chrysler 300 at this Midas location on McLeod Trail today. (1.) They had an excellent sale on the oil change. (2.) Heather at the front desk was very cheerful and accommodating and ensured my vehicle was serviced promptly. (3.) Upon their free vehicle inspection George (the mechanic) noticed that, my windshield wiper fluid spray nozzles did not work - he then offered to do a temporary fix completely free of charge! My spray nozzles haven’t worked in months lol! The windshield wiper fluid sprays perfectly now. Awesome humans at this Midas location - new customer for life for sure - highly recommend:)

Leaving second review today July 12th 2022 as I brought my vehicle in because the tire had deflated (nail puncture). I temporarily inflated my tire and then literally drove my car across town passing by many tire repair shops as I wanted to take my car to this Macleod Trail Midas location - Because these people are honest, and I knew they would tell me honestly whether or not they could repair the tire or I needed to buy a new tire.

It turned out the tire could be repaired for under $40 including GST and was done in less than an hour. An honest business in my opinion deserves plenty of business. If you’re on the fence where to go regarding an oil change, a flat tire or full mechanical service I hope you patronize this Midas location because they deserve it:)

This garage offers a range of services (including auto electrics) at reasonable prices. I've had good service and advice so far, and appreciate that they always call before starting the job with a quote and alternative suggestions if needed. They also offer tire storage which is handy.

It doesn't matter who you speak to or deal with at this place, you will get a 5 STAR service! I've had the pleasure of speaking to Cody, Heather and Alex so far and they've been great! They're patient, explain everything clearly with some added advice if needed, do a great job and I never feel intimidated by anyone there. What a good feeling it is to find a 'good home' for your car. Thank you for that.

I dropped off my car this morning after hearing grinding from my rear wheels. I was pretty sure that I needed new break pads and was shocked to hear that they were fine. My calipers were just a little rusty and was advised not to bother with any repairs. We have ALL heard of repair shops that recommend unneeded repairs or that charge for repairs they never do. Nice to find an honest garage that understands the importance of ethics!

I used to get my repairs done at the dealership for 100x the price and 100x worse service. Midas is awesome, the staff are all great and extremely helpful and want to make sure your car is fixed right and for a good price. Truly grateful to Cody & George who fixed my car up last week. 5+ stars for customer service.

Hands down THE BEST MECHANICS you can find! I have been taking my car here for 3 years now, and they are always amazing, never try to get money out of us for unnecessary stuff. When I told them we were looking to buy a new car, they took the time to explain to us the best options for our needs. They also advised us to do a full inspection on the car we are interested in buying, before purchasing it. You might think this is a waist of money, but this was the best advise ever! We took a car to them for a full inspection. The car had been "thoroughly" serviced at the dealership, and one of the things they had repairs was an oil filter leak. When Midas checked it out, they diagnosed that there was still a leak in the oil filter, and there was another leak in the drive axle boot. They even noticed a dent that we had overlooked. They sent us a full report with photos and all. So we took it to the dealer so that they could determine the real issue behind the oil filter leak. It was actually a leak in the turbo. All in all, almost $4000 in repairs that we would have had to pay if we hadn't done this inspection. $150 seems pretty cheap for dodging a $4000 bill. Thanks guys!

I used Midas because I was looking for a trusted mechanic shop and needed someone to tell me the true condition of my vehicle. I must say I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this auto mechanic shop if you want fair and honest service!

Cody and the team at Midas definitely went the extra mile to get my car back on the road! They patiently explained the options available and helped me find the best, most affordable solution. I never felt pressured or up-sold, and the repair was done perfectly and on time. Happy to give them a good review, as this was a total home run experience. 100% will go back!

10 / 10 Roman "The New Guy" looked after me today and the service was above and beyond. I took my car in for an oil change and they found some other things wrong with my car and gave me a quote for the rest of the work there and then. They were honest about what needed to be done and the rough timeline for that. Broke it all down and made it easy for me to understand. I definitely don't know cars very well haha It ended up being about half the price of what I was quoted from my dealership. Im definitely bringing my car back to this location! Thanks team

I can't trust going anywhere else now! They always make me feel confident about the visit, as they go over things in a genuine way (no upselling like most places). It leaves me feeling comfortable and confident of the work being done. I used to dread going for an oil change because it felt like I was being robbed- nothing but great things to say about this location (and to Cody for always being a huge help!)

Cody and his team consistently provide great service - I use them for tires and regular maintenance on both my vehicles. Communication is clear and the work is done on-time and within budget. This is the way to run a business!

Best mechanics ever! I started taking my car here for the usual oil change because of the good reviews. I suggested that my car needed a change of a specific part, they checked it out and said that the car was fine. Other mechanics would jump at making any changes to the car in order to charge you for labor.
Then, we needed to sell one of our cars but didn't know which one to sell, so they did a full inspection of both. Then they went above and beyond, dedicating their time, free of cost, to help us decide which car to sell, and also which car to buy, according to our needs. Cody is very straight forward and to the point, and all the employees we've dealt with are honest, they're not there to get your money, they will get the job done for what your car needs.

Had a small crack on flex tube on a 2002 Nissan Altima. I dealt with the assistant manager at this location. (His name eludes me). I called him while on the road, and he said they could look at it right away.
When we arrived, he took the vehicle in right away. Explained to me my options, and I chose to have the cheaper repair done. That option didn't come with a warranty, as it was more a bandaid fix.
The repair took less then one hour and came in a little cheaper then was originally quoted.
I was very happy with the work done here.
If you need exhaust work done, then I wouldn't hesitate to come here.

Professional, economical, and fast is what I would rate their service. Had a car breakdown over trans Canada family move. They got me in and out on the road within 4 hrs. Bunch of Pros.

Called at 11am, got the car in by 12: 30 finished work on the suspension for a reasonable rate and quick service.
Cody helped me out big time!

One of the best places for my Car, George and Cody are very helpful and friendly and great honest service.

Brought our vehicle in for a simple oil change and they returned it with a thermal paste applicator brush left in the engine compartment. They also somehow lost and did not replace an engine cover bolt.

I have been to both Midas on McLeod Trail and I have had THE BEST customer service experiences. Both shops were kind, polite and full of smiles. I needed a ride home and the owner drove me and will pick me up tomorrow. I love that the owner is hands on as well.

This place is wonderful, I know nothing about cars and they always explain everything perfectly. Better yet! They don't try to sell you on anything you don't need either ;)

I just went for a regular oil change and their mechanic with Romanian accent finds these issues with my Range Rover that the dealership in Stoon missed finding! I took the vehicle to Calgary Range Rover and they fixed all the problems (7500$ under manufacturers' warranty thankfully). Very professional work.

Great service and super quick. I just popped in to see if they could replace my tires without an appointment and not only were they able to get me in but they finished sooner then they quoted me. Highly recommend.

Usually service is good at this location, unfortunately today it was mediocre. Replaced the right signal light with oil change however first right turn from the Midas shop it was not working. I called immediately and was told to go see a mechanic as I have an electrical problem. I returned to the shop as I was only 15 min away for him to revisit his install. He then became defensive telling me it worked went I left. However I also know he did not test the signal light before I left so I had no proof his install actually worked. Just was told it was all fine good to go. Lesson learned. Unfortunately it takes one person to ruin a paying customers experience. Pretty sure I will remember him next oil change.

Huge shoutout to Cody and his team for being amazing and getting me in last minute for an out of province inspection. Super reasonable prices and they went above and beyond with service. I will be taking my car here from now on for all services.

I just had to post a 5-star review for Cody and George and their amazing team at this particular location of Midas. Most importantly, they are incredibly honest and ethical. On several occasions, they have recommended NOT doing the work I took my vehicle in for because they inspected it and told me the work didn't have to be done. I have taken my vehicles to Cody and George for several different issues over the past few years and they are hands down the best mechanics I've ever dealt with anywhere. They are honest, dependable and trustworthy. The work they do is top notch and you can trust them to give you an honest appraisal. They have saved me a ton of money on what would have been unneeded repairs. I recommend them highly.

All I can say. WOW. I picked up a “new to me” Mini cooper for my commute to and from work downtown. The second day of owning the car I had a horrible sound coming from my right front tire. It was bad, think banshee screaming bad… I saw the sign for Midas and quickly pulled in. I was greeted by a very friendly person by the name of Cody. I told him my story and he said “no worries let’s get this thing up on the lift and have a look”. 10 minutes later he came back and said it was some clip that popped out and was rubbing against the rim. He popped it back in and said no charge. I was blown away… No one has service like this anymore! He was super friendly, professional, and didn’t try and take me for an expensive repair that I didn’t need. This is what the automotive service industry should be like! A automotive shop that is honest and friendly! I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. Finally an automotive shop that looks after its customers. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely recommended! Cody and his team are so honest and they do care about their customers. We went there and spent a looot of time, but we couldn’t leave until the crew was a 100 % sure that everything was totally fine with our car. We went there just because we got a recommendation for This shop, and they were absolutely right! Very nice place.

I have just picked up my GMC terrain that I had in. I was VERY impressed with the service and staff at Midas on mccloud trail. From getting my SUV in very quickly to the sevice call they gave me. Explained everything I wanted to know or had questions about is a very easily understandable way. Thank you very much for making this an enjoyable experience.

Had to get an out of province inspection done. So happy with the work. Cody was a pleasure to deal with and even found that another mechanic in BC had installed a part incorrectly causing the ABS light to go on. Re-did the job along with 4 other things that had to be done and the work was just over a 1000$. At the dealer I have paid 1500$ just for one of the 4 things that they fixed in other cars. Excellent Excellent service. Whole family uses and trusts this place.

Brought my highlander in for what I thought was a muffler issue. Cody and his mechanics realized that a bearing had exploded and was making a huge noise. Found a couple of other things and were extremely pleasant to deal with and fixed it quickly. It was very economical compared to the dealer. Excellent, reliable, timely and economical service. Will be bringing all my cars here in the future.

The best service I have ever had from a repair shop. Cody went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Most other shops that I have been to were so-so at best. Midas, especially this location, is the exception to that. If you want fantastic service, this is the place to bring your vehicle!

We have been taking all of our vehicles to Brad and his team for close to 10 years. I took my truck to the dealership until the warranty ran out.now Brad's team at Midas is the only garage in town that I will take it to. For servicing my vehicles, relationship and trust is just as important as the skill and know-how to get the job done. You won't be disappointed with the service provides by Brad and his team!
