Virtually a very rugged land, beaten by circumstances, the age of the earth is quiet visible, understanding the lay of the land. A very lengthy but a narrow stretch of land criss crossing the terrain

Nice place, excellent collection of Dinosaurs and different fossils. Nice place for kids. They will enjoy a lot

Surprising place, we loved the city, a place very different from everything we saw in Canada

Great place for history and interactive as well for kids and not young kids (adults). Don't forget to check surrounding areas and inmerce yourself back in time.

It was a great experience, kids will enjoy the museum. The life-size dinosaurs are amazing, lots of reading, too. There's a fee to access to the museum, but it's worthwhile.

On the other hand the landscape of the park is breathtaking, the mild steps of the stairs make it easier to reach the top. Once you are at the top, you will see the surrounding areas as if it was intentionally put it there. Beautiful and you will thank the mother nature for this blessing.

Went for the museum - which is awesome - and stayed for some park action. Otherworldly-looking area for a guy from BC. Awesome!

Didn't wander too far on the trails since we were just waiting for our time to go into the Tyrell museum, but what we did see was amazing and it definitely made me want to come back for a longer hike.

Badlands are fantastic as was the Drumheller Dinosaur? Museum. Quite crowded so make sure you have your masks handy and plenty of time. Some good walking trails around the Lookout point but we had to head out so didn't have a chance to explore.

Drove all the way from quesnel and got turned away at the door on line tickets were down even app was not working they didn't care

I didn't know what to expect when we visited the Hoodoos. The kids LOVED it! It's challenging enough and for the most part safe to climb.
Super interesting to see how the ground and rock is so different from what we know

Went on part of the interactive trail beside the Royal Tyrell Museum. Had lots of signs with history and facts. Trail was paved in parts, and gravel in others. Not overly accessible.

Very cool terrain. Loved seeing the wild cacti.

Did you know Alberta was
located in the southern hemisphere millions of years ago? And over time, was at various points at the edge of a primordial ocean, and later an enormous inland sea? It's all made evident here where one can contemplate the beautiful canyons, valleys and formations resulting from this awesome history. Spend the day exploring, but allow yourself the opportunity to stay well past dusk to marvel as the star encrusted constellations watch over this beautiful terrain.

It's hot out today. Thankfully the RV we are traveling in has a generator and a/c. Almost everything appears to be open. The museum's were busy but not crowded. Drumheller and area are a great way to spend a few days but prepare for the environment.

It is really and undoubtedly the BEST dinosaur museum of the world. So much to learn, so many scientific ways to arrange the halls. Lot and lot of dinosaurs on display

Hot. Always a wonderful visit. They keep it fresh by updating the exhibit. The children love the playground. Only missed the giant sunshade that has been up in the past.

A cute nice, cozy park. Views are great at the park and on the way to the park. If you are visiting from calgary then you might pass drumheller and get a sight of dinosaurs. This region has different kind of scenery than the mountains. It is certainly a nice change for the eyes.

Lots of well marked trails. Such a different landscape that makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time.
14 July 2021 15:04
A little disappointed there was not also an upland or downland but Midland had enough to satisfy what I was looking for in terms of "land wants" enough for a 4 star review all by itself.
25 May 2021 6:23
Definitely a stop we have to make every time we are near. Love to hike the trails and see the gorgeous rock formations. The museum is a hot spot for Pokémon GO when you need to sit and rest a moment.

It not only takes you around the time dinosaurs were alive but it also has activities to have a better understanding of their way of life!

Great family-friendly place or destination for free next road trip with friends. The tyrrell museum is awesome all year long, the park grounds are more of a snow-free season thing. Bring good shoes if you intend to go hiking.

Best place to see which we never saw in real and when you see it then you will understand how big they all were.
26 February 2020 9:13
It's such a change of scenery. Very quickly you are down in the valley and witnessing millions of years in the making. The hoodoos, the Tyrrell Museum, horseshoe canyon, thus provincial park has a lot to offer. Some things are seasonal, so you would have to check, but great time all year round. Here's one of the smallest churches I've ever seen.
26 February 2020 7:43
Nice area but the outhouses were literally overflowing. It was pretty fd up tbh. If the facilities are kept up I might go again
25 February 2020 7:22
Very pretty park in the badlands. Really neat landscape that pops up out of nowhere after driving through endless praries
21 February 2020 7:44
Love the park. Come to visit at last once a year and find the walks in the bad lands to be great every year.
21 January 2020 11:24
Didn't have time to take a hike through but will eventually. Doubt that I will take the helicopter tour.
21 January 2020 6:11
Again the paying for parking is really unnecessary I understand it's for 2 dollars however it's not as if the city itself is benefiting from this like paid parking or private parking it's an attraction
12 January 2020 6:12
Came to visit the hoodoos trail, it was a bit shorter than I expected, but still stunning landscape and very easy accesible since it's right by the road and there is parking available.
10 January 2020 8:54
Ok so the place has a special spot for my heart. It has the coolest history. But it's also where me and my husband had our first date, where he asked me to marry him. Then where we got married just this past week. Beautiful place.
25 December 2019 14:20

Great and fascinating place to visit. Views are breathtaking well worth visiting. You won't be disappointed looking forward to going back again.
25 November 2019 15:24
Wonderful place. Not that I believe the stories they have concocted there. Great story telling nonetheless
05 November 2019 9:55
Beautiful badlands landscape steps away from one of the best museums to take your kids to. Drumheller is a minute away with some spots to visit as well.
20 October 2019 17:20
Great paved & gravel walking trails in the area.we took the paved one that leads to the highway and across t the river. Loved it! Next time we'll bring bikes!
18 October 2019 5:24
This is an amazing place to see. Yes, it's a once in a lifetime adventure. From the tiniest dinosaur to the largest it's all here. From sea born creatures to the sabertooth tigers and the massive mammoth. People of all ages. Just come and look at this oddysey from millions of years ago. Be humbled by that which you thought you knew but another chapter is about to unfold. Walk through the doors to yesterday.millions of years ago yesterday.
16 October 2019 13:42
I just loved this place. We had a visit with my family. The location is a dream come true for me. There is so much to see about the location and also the history about the dinosaur. I just can't say in my words. May be in future I will definitely try to come over here as there is lot more to see that can't be happen in one visit.

Neat Rock formations, including the large hoodoos. You can imagine the past by viewing the layers of sediment and rocks
