Midori Japanese Cafe

We parked in the back in a spot labelled Midori. It is not marked as reserved for employees, but during our meal - after we were seated and an appetizer was already on the table - our server requested that we move our car because that spot is apparently "reserved for management. " I wish I had gotten up and just left immediately instead of attempting to accommodate this ridiculous request. It soured the mood and I won't be back, even though I have been eating here for 20 years (and I have parked in the back many times before today with no issues). What a horrible manager to ruin our meal like that. Have fun managing your empty restaurant.

Great little sushi restaurant. It has a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, good place for a quiet date or just eat with the family. It has some of the best sushi rolls in Calgary; the fish is so fresh and soft and does taste too fishy and the rice is perfect. I want to come back and try all there rolls.
