Not sure where to begin. I pulled in based on convenience to where my truck had broke down. I was supposed to just be passing through Edmonton and ran into a little bad luck with my truck. Mike and his team were kind, empathetic, and hard working. There was an immediate diagnosis and plan to help me.

We live in such a busy and hectic world that sometimes we forget how many good people still exist. Walking into this business felt like I was time travelling. Relationship driven service that is supported by hard working and knowledgeable staff.

I came in with a wheel bearing issue at 830am and by 2: 30 pm I got a call that my Honda was ready for pick up and man did it run as smooth as skates on a fresh cleaned ice rink. I have been bringing my car to Mike's shop for a couple years now and I will keep coming back! I have called many times with short notice and him and his crew have always made the time to get my car in as quickly as possible. Most recently I had a issue I couldn't fix myself. I had called Mike letting him know what had happened, Mike let me come in that day. By the time I got there the shop was closed, but he helped me out anyway. Thanks again Mike!

The reviews are great for a reason. I scheduled an oil change and asked they check on a sound my suspension was making when going over bumps. Got a call with what the issue was, was quoted a very reasonable price, and they got it all done the same day. Highly recommended.

I'm the lady who broke down on my way into work after I had driven an hour drive into the city - you managed to fix my car so I could go home at the end of the work day instead of someone from the farm driving an hour to pick me up and then another hour home. You saved me a lot of stress, gas, time, and money, it's really appreciated! I am going to recommend you to everyone! As Mike's is near my office, I schedule an appointment for a routine oil and tire change. After waiting around two weeks, my appointment day comes and I drop off the car after I drop my kids at school. When I get there, the parking lot (s) are absolutely stuffed with cars and I eventually find a single spot remaining in the back; I kinda feel like it's a junkyard. They say they will notify me when the car is ready. I wait all day long and receive no calls. I know they have the correct number for me, as I've dealt with them several times before. In previous occasions, I've shown up and they were hard at work finishing things up, so I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are doing my quick job at the end of the day. I eventually get a ride back over there to check on things and I find the shop has closed for the day. Almost every time I have dealt with the shop, I have had trouble with communication and scheduling. I'm generally quite flexible, leaving my car there the whole day for simple procedures. However, I do not appreciate their lack of communication and scheduling failure. Why is it that after having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, they can't get some small things done within a full work day? I had to arrange for alternate transportation to my home on the other side of the city and in the morning I will have to do it again. I do not feel that my time is respected at this shop.

The time before that when I visited, they were also super busy and processed an invoice with some sort of "do not leave this on the invoice" extra charge.

I would have given only one star, but I do find the people there pleasant to deal with and I don't think they're intentionally trying to cause trouble. However, I believe they need to take communication and scheduling seriously. In today's society, time is a precious commodity, and it's important for a business to respect the time of it's customers.

I've never felt compelled to leave a review before, but the experience with this crew was outstanding.

From the moment we found this shop, our automotive worries vanished. They consistently provide accurate diagnostics and never try to up sell. I am totally confident that what ever they quote is fair and they let you know if they think you can get another couple months out of something rather than telling you that it needs to be fixed right then and there.

If there was ever a minor issue after getting our vehicle back, they promptly fit us in and fixed it at no cost. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is unmatched.

Everyone knows how hard it is to find a good mechanic. Luckily, years ago we got the recommendation for Mike the Mechanic from a good friend. Mike is a great guy and a reliable mechanic. I highly recommend him as he is honest and fair. He’ll go through everything done on your vehicle and explain things in a simple manner. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

I was getting ready to head back home to BC after visiting my daughter when the check engine light came on. Her partner goes to MTM so I gave them a call. "Come on down, we will have a look. " Very busy shop but within no time they had me fixed up and on my way. (It was a faulty gas cap affecting airflow)

Love this place. Mike is extremely personable, down to earth and straight forward. His prices in my experience are at least 45% cheaper then the dealership and the work has always been on par. He's the neighbourhood mechanic. Of course this means his shop is busy and you may have to wait, but it's worth it. Highly recommend.
