Mill Woods Meat Shop

Don’t bother to visit this place specifically if you are looking to get some fresh chicken or goat meat. Owner is very rude and doesn’t willing to get customer’s opinion. Better places than this around mill woods for fresh meat.

Bought goat today, was tasting like lamb meat instead, was so disappointed, had visited the store looking at the positive reviews, also the meat was chewy and had odour
If anyone bothers reading this review don’t waste your hard earned money buying goat/lamb!

Bought afgani chicken once and it had stale odour, threw in garbage. Went to store again yesterday and bought achari chicken and same with it, horrible smell, threw in garbage again. They need to do better work on quality control. Won’t be buying here anymore.

Great local meat shop, they have a great selection of marinated chicken, fish, and different cuts of goat meat. On top of that they have several flavors of marinated paneer on skewers. They always have a good amount of staff so you're never waiting.

This is a local treasure for South Asian meats. Thank you for your incredibly well marinated meats. The achari chicken has changed my life

My good friend recommended this shop above all others in the area! I had my hesitations about pre-marinated meats and additionally with some of the reviews talking about “old” meat from this shop. None the less, I gave it a try to form my own opinion, and by gosh I am happy I did. It was a little intimidating when the entire staff went from laughing and joking, to looking at me with such serious perplexity’s as I walked in, however I pushed through and got what I came for…. The marinated tandoori chicken! It was fresh. Very fresh. I inspected the meat heavily before cooking and the taste while eating. The meat truly tasted more fresh then what Sobeys or Coop is selling on there shelves, and for an extra dollar per pound, I get a world of flavour. I’m looking forward to going back and seeing what else the store has, as there is so many options!
