Millbourne Laundromat

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but very clean place. The ladies operating the place were very helpful.

The property and some of the dryers seem really old but the young man working in the laundromat made up for it.

He was very attentive to customers needs; he was often wiping down equipment and mopping up, and making change. I really appreciated all his help.

Parking is free and drinks and snacks are sold in the laundromat as is laundry soap and fabric softener sheets.

The owner was rude and not helpful when I asked for $1.50 to finish drying because two of the dryers were blowing cold air and I had 16 minutes left on both dryers. All she did was put all of my laundry into one machine, only 12 minutes and set it on high. I later noticed that a few of my blankets got burnt in the dryer.won’t be going back here. No accountability for her mistake, I’d recommend true value coin laundry by mill woods town centre amazing service there, they even have a bulk washing machine for big loads.

What an absolutely horrific place. The location is garbage, the owners are garbage, the service is garbage, and the clientele are garbage. All good reviews are simply fake. Good bye, see you never!

I recently went to do laundry here for the first time.
The first thing that hit me was how little parking there is. "Okay", you might say, "but that's not the laundromat, get over it". True.
But then I went inside, and the smell of mildew and a separate, awful stink I couldn't identify hit me. The place doesn't smell clean or well taken care of.
Then the reality of the place versus the (what have to be 10 to 20 year old photos of this place featured on their web page) struck me. As of mid Nov. 2022: the place looks grubby, worn out, tired.
Reluctantly, I pressed on. I handed the clerk a $20 bill and asked for 20 loonies. I counted them on the counter in front of her. 18 loonies. She tried to assure me I wanted 18. I assured her I wanted 20.
With 20 loonies in my pocket, I started putting dirty laundry into one of their $9 "huge" front loaders. It's smaller than a typical household front loader. I realized it would cost me $36 for 4 machines, just to wash what I had with me. Then the woman who thinks $20 = $18 came over and tried to tell me the small front loaders are actually huuuge. I know gaslighting when I hear it.
I asked her where their biggest front loader is. It's an industrial sized $27 per load washer.
Like all the washers, it has buttons to select hot wash, warm wash, or cold wash. She told me I couldn't turn it on. She would have to do it.
I clarified that my $27 load of laundry would go through with HOT water (to clean and sanitize the laundry and kill bacteria, viruses, fungi that cause odours and skin irritation) and she assured me that no no, this laundrymat provides 'cold water, and sometimes warm' water, no matter what the customer chooses. I pointed out the washers have a hot wash button, but she assured me the machines have been 'fixed' so it's cold water for customers. 'And sometimes warm'.

Tis place is always clean n organized. The owner is friendly n always helpful. If I need to use a laundromat, tis is my go to place.

I needed to wash bedding that my own washer isn’t large enough for. The gentleman helped me load and work the machine. After drying, he helped fold the blankets! Amazing service. The faculty and machines are clean. The machines are well maintained. I have zero problem giving this business a huge thumbs up.

Did not get a chance to use. I called ahead to ask for a large washing machine to wash a blanket. The lady sighed while I was talking to her
Went to the building to find all the machines were taken and the cashier person walked away from me as I was asking her questions
I went someplace else.

Went to this place to do laundry the first time, the place is very clean, the owner is very helpful and friendly, overall good experience, I recommend this place. Thank you.

Cheapest laundromat I've been to on the south end! Only spent 7 dollars to wash and dry a load of laundry. The lady working was super nice and really helpful. I will be coming back again:)

This Lady and her Son always get it Right for drop off, Coveralls, work clothes or Dress Costumes, well priced and Very Respectable.

I don't even know where to start with this place and the owners, they are rude and pushy and have no manners, they honestly must HATE their jobs, I only need to wash and washing takes 25-35 minutes, the male owner said last wash at 630, it was 7: 20pm I cab and this guy won't let me in, it's snowing, thanks for spreading your hate for life on to me.

The staff here is wonderful. Loved that I was able to get all my stuff washed/dried quickly as there are a tonne of machines.

This is an older location and shows its age. That being said, they keep the machines clean and the staff that I have dealt with are always friendly.

Had an amazing first time experience. The worker was willing to help me through each step and explained everything well. Felt welcomed and more than satisfied with their service! Would totally recommend.

Poor customer service, the woman was very rude. No professionalism in her tone, language and I almost wasted 90 dollars on a business who seems to not want business.

The laundromat was really clean and the staff was quite helpful. One staff member stayed an hour late one night because we didn't realize they had reduced hours due.

They have lots of washers and dryers and helped us learn how to use them. They even told us we could load more into the washing machines, even though they could have made more money had we run smaller loads.

Clean, courteous and professional services. Machine are wipe down after every wash and dry. Place is always clean and staff treat customers with respect. Helpful and very well organized.

Great experience. He was more than willing to help me with information about the machines and even carry my laundry in. He continued to ask how I was doing. I live out of town and west but I would for sure drive south again just to use that laundromat.

Not very expensive and timing's are very good also.
You can do your laundry even after you work.
Open for.long hours and weekend also.
I especially go there to do the laundry for our big blankets and very satisfied with the results.

Owner shook her head at me, then wouldn't talk to me or make eye contact over full load, rather than suggesting to split the load up. Machines never work, half are out of order and never get fixed, the ones that work take your money with properly drying for the amount of time you put in. Won't be back here again.

Good place to do big loads of laundry. Cheaper than many apartment laundry facilities if you use the big machines.

Attendants are friendly and helpful. Facility is tidy. Machines in excellent condition. I thoroughly enjoy coming here!

Customer service not up to standard and my clothes came back with a few stains in them despite my reminder that I wanted to remove them

Shame on the people that commented they are anything but great. The owners here are absolutely amazing. If your machine fails they give refunds. Not every place can have a washroom 24/7 there are some close by. Yes you can't get change if you use the side after hours they leave open because other losers robbed them too many times just like the washrooms they used for anything but what they are to be used for. These people give back to the needy and host Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners every year at theyre own expense to feed the less fortunate, homeless, and others that would be all alone. On top of being robbed violently one Christmas so keep the rude comments to yourselves. Chances are your just a bitter angry person that is taking out your life problems on anyone you can. Try to love, not hate.
