Took my 2019 ecosport for an out of province inspection. They were very helpful and showed me the issues that stopped it from passing the inspection. I made the repairs myself and agree with the issues they found with the suz. They got me super fast and working with me to get it clear inspection. I appreciate the work.

Amazing, can't say enough incredible things about the people at this business. I had major issues with my truck, I was stuck in the city over an hour away from home with children. And this incredible team went out of their way to get my truck started and get us home safely. So greatful for these incredible people thank you so much.

Took my Chevy S10 to this fine establishment. Asked them to check into the 4x4 and they didn’t even look the vehicle over properly drove it over to Tom’s auto body had it fixed right up. According to the guy at the front desk a Chevy s10 with 4x4 is not good in the snow. Shows what these guys know about vehicles. I’d recommend taking all your vehicles to Tom’s auto body where the establishment is honest and trust worthy when caring for your vehicles, this business is a joke.

Came in to this place 2 days ago to have CV boots replaced on my truck. $400 later and it’s in no better condition. Owner says there are other problems with my axle, but didn’t bring them to my attention. Wouldn’t recommend if they were the last garage in Edmonton.

The service I got from Millwoods Auto Inspection deserves more than 5 stars. I had been in the auto repair business before and understand how difficult it is to please everyone but Ali has gone beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in a long life of automobile ownership. Last year I took my son’s FJ Cruiser in for a strut replacement. And although Toyota prices them individually, which was what I was quoted, they only sell then in pairs. Millwoods replaced both struts but still only charged me the original quote for one. This month I took my Chev Silverado in for a hydraulic lifter repair, diagnosed by another shop. The repair bill was higher than the quote but was easily justified by extra work they performed. The engine was still not 100% so I returned it. They discovered a burnt valve, tore the engine down again, replaced the valve and wouldn’t accept any payment. Ali said it was something they should have caught the first time! This was not a cheap repaid bill for them to swallow but it was a pleasant surprise. I’ll be back and I’ll be sending friends and family as well

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they are all from fake accounts when most of the reviews are from all over the united states. Plus if you do a little more digging you'll notice they are reviewing the same businesses. I've made the mistake of going here and felt ripped off leaving me with nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth.

Came in here for an inspection paper, and got great service very quick and straight to the point highly recommend this place.

Went here for an auto inspection for a van I was selling.

After waiting a couple of hours, they completed the inspection but wouldn't provide the report to me because the buyer was the one paying for it.okay no problem.

Except they then told the (out of town) buyer they'd provided the inspection report to me at the time of my visit. He'll be working to resolve that with them. I wish him luck.

Finally, driving home, I noticed that the air conditioning performance has been significantly affected (reduced) by the inspection process. Not even sure how that's possible, but the difference was VERY noticeable.

Don't use this place. Go out of your way to avoid it.

Not at all professional.went in for inspection for a car with only 30k driven. They gave me a different quote on phone and when went in directly he increased it by 100 dollars.

I got a call in evening saying everything looks fine. However, need to change all 4 Tires.

It's a car with only 30k kilometers and I was ready shocked.he said if I take car out of garage and have to get inspected again after getting tires changed elsewhere he would charge another 200 dollars. I had no other option I paid 736 dollars for tires and installation and another 125 for alignment. This is on top of the 399 + Get I paid for inspection.

They Ripped me off completely. Money minded guy.

I went there for out province inspection. He failed my car and asked 620 dollars and tax to fix it. He told me He can show me the issues of my car. I went back and I asked I need to see the issues. He said no car lifting machine is available. He was forcing me to do the maintenance from him.

Our dealership from B. C.checked and did maintenance before coming here and we shipped the car here.

I took the car back and went to PROFESSIONAL MECHANICS. They checked thoroughly and passed the car.

What he did next will surprise you. He reported his findings of my car to the City. What a scammer.

SCAM SCAM. Out of province inspection for $675 just replaced one roater no pad. These guys are bunch of thugs robbing people. May God punish them one day pray. Brand new car brakes were done 4 months ago and they charged me alot of money for that and wasted my whole day again don't go thr I wish I could give these ugly shop owners minus rating.

Major scammers, charged my dad over $3200 for an entire front end suspension replacement on his 2011 Altima (Ball joints, control arms, sway bar bushings, struts, tie rods) when the only thing that really needed replacement was the struts and 1 tie rod. Now the steering is extremely stiff (almost undrivable) after they worked on it and they refuse to even look at it, saying "it's normal". Even Canadian tire is better then these clowns.

Do not recommend. Waste of money, I spent $100 just to hear from them to go to your car dealer and get the problem fixed, so funny.

I have been there three times, the owner (son) uses scare tactics and wants to rip off every single time you are there; caused me grief more than a couple of times, wouldn't recommend to anyone ever.

Explained I was retired and had a maximum dollar amount. They called me a week later and told me the price was double what I told them I could afford and my car was still not starting. A week later they had the car running but told me my bill was now 2300 dollars and there was still another 4-5 hours needed. They ended up keeping my 1962 falcon as I could not afford to pay.

PLEASE BEWARE: I had a nasty experience with these guys when I took in my truck for a salvage inspection. They charged me for stuff they actually never fixed after telling me it needed fixing. They charged me $700 for new brake shoes and rear hub seals that they never replaced. Part of the work I had to do myself for my truck to pass the inspection and when he gave me the final receipt, that stuff was also included as work they had done and when I asked him about it he told me the guys in the back had told him that and that I should leave the truck, but the problem was, this was the last day otherwise I would have to pay for another inspection afresh and eh wouldn't give me my inspection report unless I paid him. That kid at the front office is a scam artist. Take your car here at your own peril.

This shop is a rip off! Do not ever go to him! He was rude! And not professional at all! Take your money and run! I don’t even wanna give him my starts but it won’t let me post if I don’t!

They managed to squeeze me in today when I called last minute. They swapped my all seasons for my winter tires and fixed my alignment. My car feels so much better and as a result, so do I. I went here last winter to get my new CV Boots and they did a great job as well. I’ll for sure go back again and recommend people give them a try.

Total fake.they just want to earn money from you.i went there for my out of province inspection.they fail my inspection by saying your tires are on verge of getting used up and you have toh have wheel balancing and i had done my inspection just two months back and then every thing was ok

Great shop. Came in for an out of province inspection and had very good service. I would come back and refer friends.

Dropped off our car for a salvage inspection and dealt with Mikes son? The person at the front. Didn’t really know much besides how to fill out a few papers. Told us after the first it failed to fix the stuff on the list and it’ll pass. We fixed everything on the list and brought the vehicle back and he failed it due to “The inspector won’t pass it” for some unknown reason even though we fixed everything he failed. Such a waste of time and money as they could’ve told us that the first time after viewing pics of the damage and the car that regardless of doing the work or not that the inspector wouldn’t do the inspection on the car and just took our money. When I asked him for a refund he said no and said he should’ve just took our money the second time around and told us to get lost after blatantly lying to us.

Place is good for salvage inspections. I inspected the vehicle and documented everything prior, and they did not break anything or say that something needs to be replaced because they broke it in testing it. These guys understand the value and time that us auto enthusiasts spend on repairing the vehicle. Although, sometimes they are very busy, they will still treat the inspections with urgency. Although I didnt do this, but dont call them several times asking them so many questions because you dont know what you are doing. If you dont know a repair procedure then pay someone. These guys have integrity and are not going to jeopardize their long standing reputation in order to pass an inspection wrongfully.

Mike is a conman, be careful. Took my car for inspection because it was making rattling noise. He charged me $350 just to diagnose and said the transmission needs repair and he would charge me another 1200 bucks. I suspected it was the timing belt making noise and not the engine. So I took the car to another mechanic who fixed the timing belt along with water pump in only $650. Car is running like a smoothie now.

Stay away from these crooks.

I came in for a vehicle insurance inspection with two vehicles as part of a special promotion that they were running on kijiji.

They failed both vehicles that I brought in for reasons that I didn’t think were fair to fail the vehicle for.

My one car they failed it because the alternator book looked worn, even though it’s been properly functioning and i don’t think it bears any potential safety risk, only one of inconvenience.

The other vehicle also failed due to bad brakes which is fair, but they also failed it because of a burnt out park brake light which I thought was a bit much.

Anyways in order to get the vehicle to pass inspection they told me I’d have to come back and pay again.

Overall would not recommend and I will not be returning.

This place is just a rip off. Please stay away. All the good reviews are from their staff who work there. My engine light was coming on and they said its because of my battery. What a joke. Replaced my battery when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, charged me and guess what, they manually reset the engine light. They were not able to detect the actual issue even after scanning my engine through the scanner. After charging me $300, the old folk says I did this and that for free for you. Seriously. Well, was this and that required?
This business has no accountability and integrity. Stay away.

Took my vehicle for insurance inspection, but ended up not passing because of some really unfair reasons thats not even on the "AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORT".

Be smart, and do not rush. I am just very confident that the vehicle that i brought in will pass the inspection because it is on very good condition.

Very friendly staff, they are very reasonable and time efficient. I moved to Edmonton and have to get my car inspection done for Alberta registration. They booked me an appointment at 10: 30 and every was done within 45 minutes.

They blew up my engine and want me to pay for a new one. If you want your vehicle to end up in worse condition than it was, bring it here. I spent over $2500 on service and leak repairs. Only to have my engine blow up cause they didnt fill it with oil afterwards. Now they want me to pay for the new engine! That's AFTER I've had it towed two hours to my place where I work, then 5 to 6 hours back down to their shop cause they said they'll take care it since ive been a loyal customer for them for so long.

Went to do an insurance inspection as they have a special sale on Kijiji for $50. Ended up paying $600 as the ball joint on my control arm was bad. 3 months later driving to another mechanic and he charges me less for replacing 2x control arms and 2x ball joints. My complain is that they overcharge. They supposed to replace 2 ball joints as everybody replaces those in pairs but they didnt (invoiced me for 2pcs). They didn't tell me that my control arm was bad so I had to redo everything they did few months later.

Total rip off. Called and got a price on an inspection was told it was 195.00 but when I bought it in it was 295.00 plus parts if necessary so off course parts were necessary I was then given a price of 1600.00 when I went in to pick up my RV the price was now over 2000.00.he wasn't there when I went in to pick it up his father was there to present the bill. When I refused to pay anything over the 1600.00 he called his son on the phone and after much discussion I walked out paying the 1600.00
If you need an inspection to be done get the price in writing because the price seems to change. I was told I had to replace the tires because ofsidewall cracking, however when I checked the specks the cracks were less than 25 mm which should have passed the inspection. They see $ signs when they see you coming, So beware. Small leak around the base pan gasket was repaired for 800.00 without any discussion as to what was done. No deals here.

Really good guys, get car in within 10 minutes, Have a reasonable rates and repair done on my car. Good place for repair and inspection.

The only good part of my experience was that they were pleasant to speak to. My friend brought a car to them for a salvage inspection a year ago, it failed for a couple of things, all of which I had repaired over the next year and brought it back to them for another inspection. It failed again for new items that were present in the last inspection that they didn't comment on. Inconsistent. Asked to hold my car over the weekend as I expected them to be the ones repairing it and they dumped it on the street illegally and didn't tell me. My car could have been towed at any time. Don't bring your car here they will steal your money and screw you around. There's a reason for the several one star reviews already.

This place cost an arm and a leg. Get quotes from other repair shops before committing to this place. My front brake pads cost $650.00+ here. The owner's son told me I needed it done URGENTLY. I did not have a clue about repairs and committed, only to find out it costs around $200.00 at most places. I wish I had know then! What a rip off. I dread to this day going to this place. Utterly disappointed!

Had an insurance inspection done and my otherwise perfectly running vehicle was failed for "not having a working park brake mechanism" which works perfectly fine

I have moved to Alberta last year from Toronto and I went to him for Out of Province inspection, he charged me too much and also said my car couldn’t pass the inspection and have to change 2-3 parts which would cost me 700-800 dollars.
I was shocked because i just had inspection in Toronto 1 month before moreover my car was in very good condition and well maintained. I know about car and repairs as i was tire technician and works with mechanic still he cheated me. So i never changed those parts and went to other mechanic which is on next street also by the name of Millwood auto centre, i was totally shocked when that guy said its only COOLANT PIPE CLAMP which was loose. He did my inspection at reasonable price and changed that clamp just for 10 dollars. I am not saying to go visit that guys but there are many other shops so just look outside. Today i was went by this shop so i thought i should post this. I’m giving him one star. So guys please think before you visit this place.

I had to bring my car on tow truck my tire popped on the road and needed to get it fixed. I called millwoods auto and they really helped me out

I went to this shop because they had a great rate for an auto insurance inspection. They were timely with the inspection, however they failed it and let me know that I would need almost $2000 worth of work in order for it to pass. I drive my car every day and felt like it did not require this much work. I went to a different shop to get a second opinion and they only found that I needed about $300 worth of work. I'm glad I trusted my gut and went somewhere else because I would have been ripped off if I hadn't.
