Always fast, efficient and friendly. Lots of parking spaces and sorting stations. My go to bottle depot!

The owner of the this bottle depot is doing a disservice to his staff by allowing them to work in such a filthy environment. As soon as you get out of your vehicle in the parking lot there is broken glass and spillings on the the ground. When you get inside this unsanitary business, you see filth everywhere and the foul smell is oh so familiar. They need to upgrade this place and do some major renos. I wouldn't want to work at this bottle depot, nor do I wanna come here. I gave two stars because the front line staff do their best for the customers under the circumstances.

We live close to the airport but we still take out time to come to this facility over other places.

I just went to this place an hour ago and as usual, everything is neat at clean. Considering that it has been raining for more than a week now, they were able to keep the place tidy.

At one time it used to be good but last few times I have gone there, the service has been terrible. Count your change as you get paid, since I have been shorted a few times.

I took two bags of bottles and cans in and I got 7.60. I then took one remaining bag to a depot downtown and got back 6.70. I think I got ripped off at the millwoods depot. I will make a list next time.

This is the most efficient bottle depot that I have ever used. And, it's all inside with numerous lanes. Always great service!

They never counted right ripped me off too many times. Going to a place now with automatic bottle counter.

This is the best bottle depot on the southside of Edmonton. I used to have an estimate of how much I would get after visiting another depot, but here, I always get way more than I think I'm going to get. I think the other location was ripping me off. There is always fast, friendly service. I rarely have to wait in a line up. It's not the closest one to my home, but I will never go to any other depot. (Someone commented about wasps? I've never ever seen this ever.)

Went there for quick drop after confirming they have the service on phone. But after reach there and while putting the stuffs in the bin, one guy came from inside and said they cannot do e transfer. I need to take it all to inside counter. As I have work I took all my stuffs back and came back. Management guys are irresponsible and they did not value customers time. Not recommended

Nice and clean location. I will appreciate the work of employees how they keep their surroundings neat and clean with good customer services. It depends on working people if they get bad or good rating. So good job keep it up.and thankyou for helping us all time when we are in your location.

Every time I've gone here over the years, I was helped within 2 minutes after arriving every single time. Even when they are super busy they'll open all the sorting booths and help as many people as possible. And all employees I've interacted with while there were all polite, and professional. And I love that there are two hand washing stations unlike most other places.

Service was veey good and fast but the building needs to be cleaned. Also, hand wash counter is very dirty, seems like molding in the corners. Better to turn the hot water on because it is really cold

Straight forward: empty your bags in the bin and they count and sort it, then they give you cash. There's a sink there for washing hands and no small talk since it's too loud with all the cans.

Located on west side of 99 street (Parsons Road) at 28 avenue. Double exit lanes when you drive out. Clean and tidy grounds and building. Washup sink for customer use. Staff friendly and accurate. I go out of my way to bring bottle here.

No one likes going to the bottle depot. It's just one of "those" chores.
Millwoods Bottle Depot is consistently clean, quick, and accurate. The staff are efficient and professional. By far the best bottle depot I've used in Edmonton.

Went in today with 2 big bags with 300 bottles and cans and 3 small bags total of 500 in the small one's only got 87.45 do not go there this is the second time that I have been ripped off by the person counting.

Fast and honest service. Friendly and personable staff. Exceptionally clean environment, like really clean. This was my first visit to Millwoods Bottle Depot and it won’t be my last! I typically dread going to the bottle depot because all you can smell for the rest of the day is bottle depot, which is right up there with: Port-o-Johns, full litter-box and Pachouli oil (what hippies bathe in). Not this time though! Thank you for raising the bar!

It may be a small place, but the workers are quick & efficient with their counting. I’ve gone to other depots and this one remains my fav:)

The lady wearing the ROOTS CANADA lanyard was one of the best I have ever had at a bottle depot. She's amazing and her bosses should treat her as such. Thank you for your great work

I always take my bottles here. I like how they tally the bottles on the screen so you can keep track with them. Renovations have made this location quicker by qdding more stations.

We always visit mill wood recycling as the service is quick, efficient and the staff is very friendly.
Good to have a nice clean place to recycle our things

I been there for first time to this place yesterday and was surprised to see well organized staff. I had a lot of bags to recycle and staff was very organized and serving with smile, Moreover it was impressive that Depot didn’t stink at all of open bottles

The lines are short with friendly staff and much cleanier than other depots. This location is conveniently located near south edmonton common shopping centre. I usually get all my errands done is one trip.

I've been going to "Millwoods Bottle Depot" for many years now! I have tried many other bottle depots but I always find myself dissatisfied. I have been living in Beaumont for a year now and I still make the drive to the Southside to return my bottles! Good service is hard to find these days!

Their location is super convenient: right off of 99 street, and a stone's throw from Costco and South Common so you can get the rest of your chores done. There's plenty of parking and lots of counters inside for quick processing. The staff are typically quick, friendly and efficient, and there's a sink for you to wash your hands after unloading your bottles. At times they get extremely busy, and I've experienced waits of up to 20 minutes on really busy days, with the line snaking out the door. Other than the wait, the Millwoods bottle depot is a reliable place to recycle your bottles.

Great service, shortest wait, most accurate counting. There’s plenty of bottle depots between my residence and Millwood’s Bottle Depot, but it’s always worth the drive to go here.

Fast, efficient and friendly staff. They do a lot in that little space to help the environment and support YEG Recycling. It's not a glamorous job, and we are so grateful to you for doing it!

Editing my review from a year ago due to a recent experience. My husband came here today with almost double the amount of bottles we usually bring it. He only received $3 more than usual. When he asked about it the woman told him “sir you poured the bottles in too fast and it’s busy. ” Her only job is to count bottles. My husband waited for his turn in line.
Because of this we will not be returning.

Helpful people, good environment for business, very fast paste, straight forward, monthly raffles to customers. All & all if you want fast business in and out, this is the place to go

Went today. The person I was with was fast and efficient.however, she gipped me on bottle count. At the very end, I gave her 5 boxes of beer bottles. 4 boxes of 24 and a box of 12. That's 108 bottles. At $0.10, I should have gotten $10.80. The recipet only read $7.60. Now, math isn't my strong suit, but I do know that, that math was wrong. That's $3.20 less than I should have recieved. I also know that the full $10.80 wasnt added, because before the beer bottles were added the refund was 36.50 And clearly, the end result being 44.10, tells me that 10.80 wasn't added on.

If you plan on using this place, count your bottles so you dont get tipped.

I also called her out on it, she glared and yell that she counted all the bottles. I was with my son and didnt want to cause a fight. Just BE aware.

Terrible experience!
First time ever being here and I got rooked big time! I've been to other bottle depots and received way more back in cash. Brought in 5 industrial sized bags "full". Plus 4 smaller bags and received half the cash of what I would normally get elsewhere!
I looked at the board and the bottle count was way off. I tried explaining that the count does not reflect what I brought in. I call this theft and will NEVER be back! It's no wonder they can donate and give cash prizes!
I am disgusted that they have to cheat you out of your hard earned money! Total BS!

They take empty bottles, cans and cartons and give you money for them. I like money. I'd give them five stars if they had a vending machine with sodas or water for sale. But yeah. I like money, tho.

Great service, fast friendly & always clean, even if there busy there staff handles customers well & gets you out the door with cash in hand, only bottle depot I go to!

Staff were very courteous and polite. Their hours are awesome. Very easy to on transit to access. Best bottle depot I have been to in the city. Highly recommend this depot!

This has been our bottle depot for a long time now. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I am always so amazed by the speed and accuracy of my bottle counts I fully trust them with my returns I highly recommend you check them out for your bottle return needs

They open as early as 8: 30 perfect to drop off some empty bottles before my husband goes to work. Staff are friendly and fast, they get the job done quickly.

The day was July 17th. The weather. Too hot. My bottles, too much. My gf suggested this place. She’s awesome. But not as awesome as this bottle depot. They have good hand washing sinks. This “bd” is definitely upper echelon.
