Ming Shine Co. South Auto Detailing & Ceramic Coatings Protection Film

My wife and I have had Ming Shine on 4 vehicles (one we no longer own) and love it. They are very professional, do a great job of making our vehicles look great, and the coating protects our vehicles' exterior to keep them looking great for years to come. Highly recommended!

Just got full front PPF (including the windshield) and window tint done on my 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance. They did an amazing job. Very well done and the car was done on time. The windshield film had gone on sale ($50 off) from the day I got my quote a couple weeks ago. I didn't even have to mention it to them and they had already adjusted my price down $50. They also gave me a coupon for $200 off any detailing myself or a family's member wants done in the next 90 days! No hassle or fuss (pretty rare now). I'm totally impressed with everything I had done, the customer service and the honesty!

If i could give zero stars i would. I booked an apointment a month ago and was in the hospital and missed the appointment. My name is Ayla but am using my boyfriends account just to write this. I called back and made a new appointment for october 3rd. I called october 2nd to confirm what time i should drop my car off and the manager said nothing was booked. He said he would look for it. I called back a couple hours later and he said he still couldnt find it. He said "well were fully booked tomorrow so we can;t take you". I said that isnt my problem because i took a day off work to bring the car in. Again, i said look and I will call back. I called back and a different guy answered the phone. Within a second he found my appointment. So your own manager cant even find an appontment, and then tells me he cant take me because hes already booked? I left work three times to call this place and no one has any idea what is going on. The 2nd guy I talked to was rude and basically mocked me when I said "i talked to your manager three times today and he couldnt even find an appointment" and he says "really three times? I dont think so" WHAT? So i said why didnt your manager call me back to tell me if he could get me in tomorrow or not? And this guy again says "well maybe its the way you are acting" WOW.most unprofessional place i have ever been to in my life.i never showed up to my appointment on the 3rd because if this is the way they treat people over the phone, and has a manager who is not even capable of finding an appointment after giving my number and name- do you think i want them around my car? So i booked with someone else who i feel is capable and my friend is not showing up for her appointment either with them.all in all because of the rudness of the 2nd guy- he just lost you around $1000.

Absolutely Impressive WORK! Made my 6 year old Ridgeline look better than it did new.

They were able to remove scratches and finish issues didn’t think could be done short of repainting.

The customer service was top notch, and they did it 1 day faster than quoted.

Their prices are exceptional reasonable given the amount of work they put in too.

Having had my car ceramic coated and detailed I am very happy. Service and how I was treated as a customer I cannot fault. My Porsche Macan GTS now looks pristine.

I had Ming Shine do my two cars. The service is top notch. I’m very pleased and will have my cars back to them again in the spring. All they need is a bigger shop so that I could bring a Peterbilt in to them. Thanks for a great job.

They have looked after my MINI since I bought it 5 years ago. Still looks like it came from the showroom. Like the service, prices and level of care they provide. Just all around a wonderful experience.

I am super happy with the job they did. I had them remove my old PPF, polish the car, ceramic seal it and reinstall new PPF. The has never looked better!

I basically drive my cars here immediately after purchase and let them work their magic. I have had six cars detailed or covered in PPF and more here. The team are very nice and always do a great job. They know their products and services well and can recommend the best packages for you and let you know in advance of any issues with what you had planned and how it would actually work on your car. I actually avoided overpaying for additional stuff after a quick chat with them. You won't always find a place that tells you not to pay them more!

I have never had an issue personally that required any warranty work or any other issues so I cannot comment on their response to warranty, but I know they stand behind their work should I ever have an issue.

It's great to support a long term local company that does great work and I will be back with every single car I get in the future.

Brought my 2022 Acura TLX Type-S in for the 10 year Feynlab self-healing Lite product. The staff was very friendly and thorough. I've taken other vehicles to other shops for PPF and Ceramic, and the quality and service at Ming is way better than anywhere else I've been to. It was a 3 day process, and my car was ready at noon on day 3, they walked around the entire vehicle with me to ensure I was satisfied. They did a great job applying the Ceramic. Will definitely be going back for detailing in the future and Ceramic next time it is needed.

I have had work done on my last two new vehicles here, and I have always been happy with the customer service. As well the quality of work.

I have had undercoating, rustproofing, paint protection film, ceramic coating, and window tinting done here multiple times. Always quality work and reasonable pricing. I also had a door job repaired in my brand new truck a few years ago. I did not believe I was fixable. When they were done, you would not be able to find the spot.

So I get an estimate outside, I'm told 175, limited access options, drill and plug. I go inside ask for copy, now it's 200 plus GST. 210.00
What? Did I miss something.
Was it because I mentioned I'm covered by service warranty?
This kind of dishonesty is why inflation is screwing everything.

AMAZING company! I am so happy we used this place! My vehicle looks like it did 4 years ago when I bought it new! Their amazing polishing job cleaned up so many of the usual Alberta rock chips on the front hood and they got a stain out of my seat that I've been working on for over a year haha. Plus everyone is friendly, professional, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You will not regret going to Ming Shine Detailing.

They were on time, quick and when they brought out my vehicle they showed me in the bright light what they had done. Was like new. We walked around and they had touched up a few spots I didn't know existed. I would use them again and share with others how professional they were. No complaints!

I've had two dents repaired by Chris. He came out and looked at my car beforehand. He was knowledgeable and friendly and knew how to repair it properly. Of course, upon picking it up on both I occasions, the imperfections were invisible. Thanks a million, Chris!

Just had my maintenance done for my paint protection. Can’t believe how it shines, I get complimented on my truck all the time. Always on time, friendly, great products and service.

Booked my husbands truck in for a spring special. They were fantastic at setting expectations for the cost of paint chip repair!
We have taken our vehicles to Ming multiple times and they always do a great job!
My only complaint is their hours. When I dropped off the vehicle I let them know I would have to pick it up the following morning. I guess one of the employees stayed late because of the miscommunication.

WOW. Just, WOW. I ended up here bec our vehicle is part of Go Team Ford's Smartprogram. The first person I came in contact with was Alla Donaldson and her professionalism, care and attention to detail in taking care of my claim, coordinating and responding to my texted questions were mind blowingly AMAZING. She was thorough and quick to reply. I NEVER had to wonder even for a brief second what was happening to my claim (body work for a ding and several large tears on the fabric of the seats).
When I finally get to the shop the excellence is EXACTLY as the calls were. The shop manager, Mike, was attentive and very clear in his communications. He explained what was going to be done. It was going to take several hours so he booked me an Uber to take me back home and then said that one will be sent for me when it is complete. The body work done by Kris and the interior (textile) repair by Lil Joe were absolutely EXCELLENT. The one tear on our passenger seat looked like it was going to be hopeless but, miracle of miracles, Lil Joe patched it up. We do not need to have the seat replaced!
I am incredibly grateful this kind of customer service still exists. I cannot recommend this shop enoiugh. Thank you so much, Ming Shine!
