Minhas Micro Brewery - Calgary

Terrible. Went in because I had a coupon for a free growler with fill. After having an expensive taster flight ($15 each) and not liking the beer, decided not to get the growler fill.

Also, the TV loop that plays episodes of Dragons Den that the owner appears in is cringe.

Save your money, don’t bother! The hazy IPA tasted like cigarettes and the pale ale also had a very foul taste. We were at a brewery nearby and came here after, we couldn’t even finish our drinks, so gross!

The chips and dip - if you like uncooked soggy ‘chips’, this checks the box.

Nachos - nothing to write home about. Wouldn’t order again.

Just avoid at all cost.

Numerous cans have had mold around the seam of the upper of the can. They are either flat or the can appears sucked in. I called them and after 12 or more rings someone answered and was more interested in the batch rather than me as the customer.
It still has not been resolved. I must be a sucker, I purchased another 15 pack today and I've found 3 cans in the same condition. Either flat or sucked in.
Back in the day a real Brewery gave a case for every can or bottle messed up. Now they don't even want your name. I think that Health Canada needs to be involved as the mold is a Health issue and has not been taken seriously. I suspect until someone is Hospitalized or worse!

Excellent food! Great pizza, beers, and Parthana rolls which are delicious! The service is outstanding. If you haven’t been here yet…. I highly recommend you go…you are seriously missing out!

We love Minhas. The beer is delicious, pizza, onion rings etc. The service is always fantastic. However, this is the second time we have been and unable to enjoy our time there due to a private event. It’s no fault of the staff, but we think that they should advertise on their instagram if they need to close early due to said private events. That way we don’t need to come all the way across the city only to find out that they’re closing early. We will continue to go, but will now start to call ahead of time to make sure they aren’t closing early. Thanks.

Nice little brewery in the NE of the city, close to McKnight on 44 St NE.

There is not a lot of parking so you have to park on the street.

Lots of drinks available but they have no pop or juices, only alcoholic beverages.
You can eat here as well.

Staff is very friendly

Great location for some really interesting coolers, ales and whiskeys. Very nice and very knowledgeable staff. Definitely will be back. They serve food, but I just did takeout on the coolers.

Such a great find. Great selection of drinks both on tap and bottles/cans. The menu is not fancy food but it has great choices and everything we've tried in two separate trips has been excellently done. They have meal deals that are an entree and a pint for $10.99, which is fantastic. The only off thing is that their website hasn't been updated in a few years so you'll have to go in to see their menu. Worth the trip and highly recommended.

I would avoid this place like the plague. When we first walked in, we were greeted to a disinterested and non-passionate front of house. When we asked about the beer selection, there were hardly any beers on tap and were given no help when asking about the beers and what we should try.

Once we ordered, our beers came and all of them were flat. They had clearly been in the line for sometime and came out with no head or carbonation. We had to ask for them to be poured again.

Then our pizza that we ordered came. These pizzas were fairly priced, but not what we were hoping for. I have had better frozen pizza.

Overall, I will definitely not be coming back.

Have been here before and it was decent but this time was disappointed with takeout. Every item we ordered was incorrect or had issues. If you have an issue with the takeout order nobody answers the phone and it does not appear to be a number for the restaurant.

We wanted to order the chicken Caesar wrap and it is shows as $90 when you try to order online. Ordered the chicken club sub and it said it had mayo but was actually some kind of oily sauce with whole seeds. Was supposed to have cheese but there was no cheese on it. Asked for no tomato but it has tomato.

Ordered a pizza with no mushroom and…there was mushroom on it.

Most disappointing was the Cajun chicken nachos. The cheese was put under the nachos and melted to the paper liner. We were able to eat the plain nachos with a few toppings but the rest of the toppings and cheese were garbage because they were stuck to the paper.
