Worst experience ever. My cousin went here to do her lashes and came back home with an eye infection. I had to run and get her medications. This place is very unsanitary and not professional what so ever i do not recommend this place to anyone. We also called back to let them know and they did not refund us or apologize to the client which is very unprofessional of the place. Jenny we are very disappointed with you and your service.

The most average nails I’ve ever had at the most expensive place I’ve been. Spent $150 after tip for a pedicure and set of gel nails. The pedicure chipped after a week and the nails were fragile and the polish didn’t even go to my cuticle. They were uneven and a rushed job. Extremely disappointed. Also just got an email saying they are raising prices. Will never go back.

Judy was amazing. She is super friendly and had a professional attitude and work. She made sure I liked my nails at every step. I got almond shaped nails and they turned out awesome!

I have been a dedicated customer at Mint Lounge (Country Hills location) for over a year.

My regular nail lady was let go, so I had to have an appointment with a new girl on my last appointment on September 30. This was awful timing, as I had engagement photos scheduled a couple days after getting my nails done. The new girl tried what I believe was her very best, but the reality is she was inexperienced. She was not able to get clean edges on my acrylic nails, which left lifted edges on some parts of my nail, and quite a gap between the acrylic nail and my cuticle, giving the appearance of my nails already being a week or two grown out. After just over a week, the nails began to chip along the edges as well.

Because I am a high school teacher that works very long days, I did not have an opportunity to call the salon to address my concerns during opening hours until two weeks after my appointment. I felt that it was important to have a conversation about my concerns. I requested a nail removal, because I am no longer confident in getting fills at Mint Lounge. Their techs that are good are always booked very far in advance so it is very difficult to get an appointment with them, which would leave me with the inexperienced new people.

I was told that I would have to pay $17.50 for a nail removal, and that they could not waive this charge because I was calling more than 10 days after my appointment. 14 days after an appointment is not unreasonable to be concerned about the quality of my service, given that a good quality fill should last a MINIMUM of 3 weeks. Prior to this appointment, I have regularly gone 4-5 weeks between fills with absolutely no concerns.

Honestly the salon is beautiful and has a great selection of gel colours but the woman who did my toes (Judy Tran) was not good at all. Gel colour over my cuticles, the work was sloppy, my toe nails weren’t filed well, and to top it off as I sat in my car to inspect the bad job she did, the gel wasn’t even cured! Thankfully when I went back another lovely woman fixed what she could. When I got home I had to refile my toes.

The nail techs were sweet and good at their job. However the management is rude. I had booked a manicure and a pedicure for the day before my wedding a month ahead of time. I made several phone calls to confirm the appointment and confirm the design I wanted, no one ever picked up the phone.

When I showed up, they accommodated me but were rude and not respectful of my time. They did not apologize for the mistake on their end. I am very disappointed at the lack of courtsey and the fact that they did not rectify the mistake on their end.

My cousin and I had a nails day today, and we had a great experience! We had Alyssa and Vivian, and both were kind, super experienced, and very talented! The salon is also very pretty and clean. We definitely recommend this location!

I purchased a gift card for my mother to use as a gift for mothers day. Her appointment was slotted for 3: 30pm-5: 00pm with Lena. I received a call from my mother stating that Lena was complaining she didn't have time to finish my mother's manicure and pedicure. In addition, my mother wanted a french manicure and pedicure (shellac), which she was clear on from the get go. My mother at some point was the only customer in the salon/spa and yet Lena was complaining she had no time. Mind you, their booking system schedules these appointments. When my mother asked her to speak to me over the phone, she stated everything was fine. My mother observed that when Caucasian customers came in, they were treated with the utmost respect. If you are woman of color, stay clear of this place. There are many nail salons where you don't have to go through hassles to get your nails done, just because you an Afro-Canadian.

Vivian is a nail guru! She always does a great job and with a great attitude. I always enjoy and look forward to my appointments. The shop itself is very clean and beautiful. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Mint Nails now for over 4 years. I have always found them to be courteous, efficient and accommodating. Lisa is my person! She is friendly, professional and personable and I highly recommend her. We have the greatest conversations and she always remembers how particular I am. I have tried many nail spas and by far Mint Nails is the best. They are stuck with me!

I've always been happy with my services at Mint Nails. Today my technician asked me if I was getting the vaccine. I feel like this is personal and very inappropriate for a buisness to be questioning there clientele. I don't want to discuss covid or my personal choices on my time off. I won't be back sadly.

The best nail salon in Calgary! Tina is awesome! I hadn’t had acrylics in a very long time and she helped me choose the most amazing ombré tips! The best part was the experience. We laughed like we knew each other for ages! What a fun experience! Jessie explained to me all the different types of nails which was awesome!

I've been going to Mint for the past several years and they continue to amaze me with their knowledge and techniques. My nails are beautifully done in a professional manner with friendly customer services. I would not hesitate to recommend my family and friends to Mint at any time.

Went today and got nail extensions done. This was my first time ever doing anything like this ever. When I got there they just stared at me and no friendly service or inquire why I came. The nail technician I got was a male that was very rude to me. He rolled his eyes when I asked questions. When he was shaping my nails I asked for square shape. When he was shaping they were triangle and I said these look like triangle and very rudely said I know what I'm doing. He was very rude with me thr whole time. Before booking my appointment I asked the girl about two different nail sevices and booked for what she told me the price would be. When I paid at the end it was way more than what I was told on the phone. The manager said I would get a discount but not before the nail technitian and manager speaking in their language in front of me for a very long time. The prices she was telling me it still was not discounted she just made it sound like it was a discount. I jist paid it anywyas to get out of there. Overall experience was very terrible. They pick and choose who tto be extrmelu nice too and who to be rude too as I saw them be very caring to s different customer.

Only went for a nail removal (that a different salon put on) and the lady did a great job, And even out on some nail hardener afterwards too. Which is huge since my nails are always so brittle after!

Had a wonderful experience today at Mint. Solar ombre nails done by Alyssa, as well as a shellac pedicure. Very happy with the service and the nails. Thanks!

Don't waste your money going here. Got pedicure done complete waste of money, she didnt cut my cuticles, she didnt ask how to shape my nails, hell she didn't say one word when i tried to talk to her or tell her what i wanted. After she painted my nails she got up walked away and said nothing once again. Useless, don't go here and dont waste your time or money you will be disappointed

Went to Mint Nails in the Deerfoot location yesterday and Kim did a lovely job, staff were super friendly and the place was very clean. They just opened so you can tell they are t fully settled in yet. But over all was a great experience!

I tried out this salon today for the first time based on a recommendation from a customer. I had my appointment with Jessica, who was incredibly patient and communicated with me about what I wanted for my nails and the process. She did an amazing job (and I am picky about getting them straight and flat b/c my natural nails are curved), and she wasn't harsh on my nails and overall was pretty easy to talk to. I'm definitely going to keep coming back.

The team here was super helpful. I was having a nail emergency and they were able to get me in right away. My nail tech was really nice and funny and she helped me fix my nails. They are really organized and clean, the interior design is very cool. Very reasonably priced. I will be going back again.

Have been here couple of times. Today I had shellac manicure and regular padi. I booked my appointment just day before and they got me in before closing next day as I requested since I was working during the day.
2 technicians worked on me on same time I was very greatful they were agreed to do a big job just before closing hours. They are always welcoming, you have your own nail toolbox with your own name on it, so they put good effort on hygienic and using high end products.
Interior is very cool and also both my technicians were fluent in English.
Actually my feet was in really great shape not as much callous on them, so kindly they give me extra massage on my feet and legs what was heaven. I do not understand all negativ reviews as I had great experience!

No one will say a word to you your whole visit there, not even a hello. Shellac manicure chipped after two days TWICE in a row. Customer service is everything, the least you can do is say hi.

I have only been using this service for a couple of months but I think it's one of the better places I have tried. My nails stay put, they don't chip or fall off. The pedicure is okay. Could be better. I have had better leg massages. The massage is very quick. I usually make an appointment in advance but I have been able to stop in without an appointment and they got me in without a wait. They usually seem to have spare people to step in and help. If you want a particular manicurist though I would definitely book in advance.

Just had shellac done and everything was decent until the guy doing my nails nicked my cuticle and it started bleeding. This was painful and he showed no concern for this issue. I can understand mistakes but the fact that I was bleeding made me very uneasy about the cleanliness of this place as the guy did nothing about it and continued to dip the same brush he used by my cut up cuticle into the polish bottle. Regret not complaining right after. This should be a big wake up call for the salon as I don’t think I will be back or recommend this place to my friends.

I dont write reviews but I had to for Mint lounge because they are the best! Today was my first time visiting Mint Lounge and I called them letting them know Ill be 10 mins late and they still took me in which was so nice of them! I got ombre french nails done by Hannah! She was so amazing! She really took her time doing my nails and I couldnt be happier! Idk how this place only has 3 stars, it deserves 5! Thank you so much Mint lounge and Hannah! ️

I felt rushed instead of relaxed. My pedicure was done so quickly I hadn't even chosen my color and he was almost ready for it. My regular polish manicure last 2 days before my nail polish chipped off of all my fingers. It was very disappointing.

Every time I go for an appointment I'm greeted warmly by my name (I'm still new so they don't know me personally) as well the day before reminder call. I get great advice on colors and brands as well as very patient service when I absolutely cannot make up my mind. If you have ANY issues with shaping or a broken nail within 10 days they fix it for free. GREAT customer service. The price is competitive with any other salon of its caliber and the cleanliness is top shelf. They actually designate the tools used on you for yourself only! You get a box that is stored there with your own sanitized supplies so as to avoid any claims of cross contamination. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon and my tech Sammie for her ridiculously talented fingers and ability to slam out bomb nails quickly but with quality (I should mention that I am obsessive with shaping and thickness as well as paint. IT. IS. ALWAYS. PERFECT! Incredible)

Been going here for about 2 years now. I see Ada and she's great but all the girls are amazing. I've been to so so many salons and I will never ever switch again! Best in town for sure all around

I've been coming here for about 8 months, and this is the second disappointing set of nails i've had in a row.too overpriced for the work.had to wait an additional 20 minutes on top of what the appointment was made for.got 2 marble nails the lady saying the ink would come off in 2 washes and is currently still sitting on my finger 24 hours after.when dremeling the nails down she put to much pressure resulting in it being very painful and hot.my nails are bumpy and uneven in length and thickness.overall i was there two hours and very unsatisfied with my nails.when she painted my nails she missed along the edges of my nails.

Mint has always been my fave for great quality pedis at a great price. The best part of the place is the staff. Professional, funny, and go above and beyond. Big, big fan!
