Mint Smartwash

I love this car wash but it's definitely not cheap. The staff are really nice and the place is super convenient because of their operating hours and central location and the equipment is quite good. I love themat washers and the vacuum stations. It would be nice if they were about $20 cheaper a month but they have to make a profit and they have a great service so overall I like the place.

Does the job as well as any automatic wash can. The lines are pretty fast. I like the vacuums as well!

The staff is always very helpful and unusually happy. You can tell they like their work and each other.

I have had an unlimited Ultimint membership in the past, and half the time I didn't get the full wash that I paid for. When you complain, they tell you to go through again. Which is not the point of a drive thru carwash, especially when it's busy. I went through today and the tire cleaner did not operate. So I went through again and it still didn't work. After telling the staff that my tires still weren't clean I was told "Well from here they look cleaner than last time". Not the point. When I pay for the machine to wash and polish my tires that's what I am expecting. For them to be cleaned, not just rinsed from the runoff from the parts that are actually working. I went to another carwash to wash my tires and their tire cleaner wasn't working either. They offered me a full refund when I told them, because their sign was missing and they wanted to make it right. Takes some notes Mint.

Bought a new car and at the same time, purchased a monthly plan at Mint! So glad my car sparkles ALL THE TIME! The staff are friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend Mint

Nothing to get the bugs off your chrome or windshield, wash doesn't get wheels clean or even side body panels. Very dissatisfied! Will be canceling my monthly contract ASAP

Been to other Mint washes and this one just didn’t live up to the others, I was at this location yesterday, the staff is friendly however my tonneau cover did not come out clean, some body panels and the wheels were still dirty as well.

The Mint car wash in Lethbridge Alberta is going downhill every week. I used this facility today and there was no soap dispenser during the wash. When I went in to talk with the lady, she said”every fifth car is not receiving soap”. I asked her what that meant and an older man brushed her aside and said she is just learning. I guess it takes training to be able to pull the wool over your clients eyes. When are you going to have a car wash that works 100 percent of the time with 100 percent of the machinery?

Paid over 16 dollars for a car wash that did an aweful job washing my vehicle very disappointed. My vehicle wasn’t even that dirty and it left bugs all over my windshield and bumper. If I could give 0 stars I would. 1st time coming and never again. Don’t wait your time.

The vacuums suck…THE BEST! They actually work and they’re free. The carwash itself is great, my car is always super clean when it comes out. Fast and efficient.

Overall, a positive experience. The wash was better than where I've gone in the past but still not as good as I'd like for what I paid. The cleaning of the back of my car was not great. I do like that vacuuming and use of drying towels is included in the price.

Everything is always running well, it’s clean, and efficient. Free vacuums and mat washing are fantastic. In and out, no muss, no fuss. People complain about scratches from auto washes but I’ve gone through this wash hundreds of times in multiple vehicles and it’s never been an issue. Best car wash in town.

Great staff. Good service and my car looks all shiny. Is it weird to say that I might be in love with a car wash? The only disappointment was I didn’t get a breath mint. How can ya have good word of mouth with stank breath?:)

You offered a free wash when you first opened. Your wash put fine scratch swirls all over my new car. Another complaint was on global news which you denied. I will never go there again.

I’ve been a member of their club mint for unlimited washes since they opened in south Calgary, very pleased, and really like the free use of vacuum, air hose, and mat wash. This is a good value, more so if you get a family package for multiple vehicles

. A couple suggestions that would improve service
Make it easier for customers to stop and start their membership on line, i.e. Snowbirds
The express lane should be for “club mint” only not someone pulling up to purchase a package, either send them thru and then have them go in office, really delays what supposedly is an EXPRESS LANE!

Thay stole money from my mastercard
Thay said you cannot use debit
because they cannot steel
Although I asked my friend and thay are using debit card.

Add to that thay left me on the line waiting inside my car and no body started the line until I called them Although thay opened the gate for me and thay know I am inside
Thay are theif and bad service.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months with no success. I’ve even tried contacting/submitting a request form several times and I have never heard back

This car wash is FUN! The kids loved it.the flashing colours were a highlight for them. Our whole van was clean other than the back. I don't know what happened but it looks terrible. The car in front of us looked the same, it was totally clean other than the back. The license plate and nooks of the back of the vehicle were not clean at all. We got a car wash last week so the dirt wasn't caked on or anything like that. Hopefully they can fix this issue.

For a fast pace clean, 100% recommend. Unfortunately I ran into some issues taking my 86 Pontiac through, lost a piece of chrome - hard to find part. The friendly staff & Denon went out of his way to go to a local scrap yard and find the exact part that was missing. I was then able to use my car for my wedding. Personally, I wouldn’t take any old vehicles through and learned this lesson the hard way. But for a quick wash, especially when a gift card for 10 washes was given to me. Hands down best place to go. Never had any issues with scratches. Wouldn’t take a piano black car through. Something a little rougher around the edges kind of thing no problem.

Very happy with the unlimited wash and use the clean towels ro wipe down the vehicle and also the industrial vacuum cleaner that really keeps my car clean love it.

I’ve tried to cancel my membership for months and every time someone tells me that my membership will be canceled but it never has been.

Nice car wash, only thing I would change is the still drying/go light at the end.
The timing seemed off, we were already at the end barrier and had to turn, before it changed to go.

Nice concept but car rear part can not clean nice and specially near license plate.vacuum is good but for mat service mat is not going to clean good we have to put 4 time then 60% good may be water presser but if you want then you can improve this service then i give you 5star sure.is this my opinion thanks.one suggestion also if you like or not i don't no but in pricing 20 dollar in month 5-6 time then may be good for me i think so again thanks.

To celebrate the opening of the Edmonton mintwash, free car washes were being offered one Saturday at the Medicine Hat location. I usually just wand wash my car but I thought I'd try this wash. I'm glad I did not have to pay for it because the job was so poor that it needed the wand wash to finish the job. The back of my car wasn't touched and the bottom of the car was still dirty. What a gift to have a free wash so that I never have to go back and pay big bucks for a pathetic job.
The vacuum is great though. Very strong suction.

Typically I am happy getting a wash here, however this time purchased an Ultimate wash and was disappointed that I paid over $20 and the first set of brushes didn't move at all, and then tire cleaner/undercarriage wash didn't work at, and finally my vehicle had to push up the dryer vent for it to move so it scraped all the way up my car. I understand if things break down or whatever, but if that's the case then you shouldn't be charging customers for the ultimate wash when half of the features don't work.

What can I say…from getting to get my car cleaned and talking with my new Aussie Friend Mathew over at the Meadows I couldn’t be more happier. Good cleaning & friendly service…don’t need nothing else. Keep up the great team work over there, company will never fail.

My car was not clean after the wash, even though I paid for the best wash. Very disappointing. Guess I'll have to go thru a couple of times.

Mint is my favorite car wash place. Every time I'm in Lethbridge I go to get my beauty washed and waxed, carpets cleaned and inner vacuumed. Their customer service is phenomenal. When I called or had a glitch in service they have been effective, efficient and kind. Seriously super.

Usually great experience for a car wash. Last one got stuck in the wash. Turns out motor blew on a machine. They did try to fix the build up of wax/ soap however after 5 washes and a hand wipe still could see.

Expensive and now that it's a couple years old doesn't clean the greatest. Staff are friendly tho.

I miss this car wash so much. Free vacuums, floormat washer, and reasonable prices on monthly club membership. My car has never been as clean since.

Vehicle had good amount of just road dust on it. Bought ultimate car wash and only about 70% of car was cleaned. Not impressed. Will not return.

I purchased a brand new truck. After the first trip through the wash, I noticed one side on roof had some minor clear coat scratches. I would always dry my truck with hand towels provided after the wash. After I noticed the first series of light scratches I simply chalked it up to something that could have been preexisting. After a subsequent trip, I noticed similar scratches on the other side of the roof. After bringing this to their attention, they created a case to review. The explanation I received was that I created the scratches by using the drying towel that was used on the tires. It could be a plausible theory but for the following:

Had this towel caused a scratch, I would have had scratches everywhere as it was used for more area that just the roof.

The truck just went through the wash, and was washed frequently, there was no dirt or debris to be picked up by the towel.

I won’t use this wash again. An honest attempt to rectify the situation would have satisfied me. A very weak and highly unlikely theory to explain the scratches, was the sole factor in publishing this review. If you value the clear coat on your vehicle, you may want to wash elsewhere.

Very quick. Nice that vaccum and floor mat wash included with the price as well They also give you wipes for your dash. Only thing I wish they did is to have a pre soak for bugs on the front of your vehicle.

It's fun to go through the car wash, but parts of the brushes always end up in my vehicle's crevices, have to go through a few times to get a thorough cleaning. The front of the vehicle is never fully washed and neither is the bottom of doors. Step/running boards don't come clean and neither do rims/tires. It is fun though.

Always quick and really clean after wash. You can also use very strong vacuums and mat cleaners. A guaranteed experience.

It's a great place to run your car through. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the vacuums and floor mat cleaners work great. Give them a try!

My dad has been going here for years and couldn’t have recommended it enough to me, and now I see why, had the pleasure of meeting Brady and Ansley, amazing prompt and professional staff, and superior wash.

Love going here. Normally the girl working the gate is cute and friendly and just seems to be a good place to work.aside from the guy that guides you onto the track.lighten up a lil dude. You’d enjoy your time on earth if you smiled once in a while.

Amazing promotion going on for the monthly package. It tempted me to get the monthly membership. I’m very glad I got it! Now my car is squeaky clean - even cleaner than a 5 star hotel lobby!

My entertainment fun spot in Lethbridge, because there's nothing else clean to do. (Ha, ha!) I always open my sky roof, so I can watch the fun! (Hint open it before you enter the bay, just in case you hit the wrong button like I did! Oops, we got a little soap on the inside, but it woked out well in cleaning the interior;) A little pricey, but it is part of my entertainment budget. Mint supplies fresh cloths to wipe your vehicle, floor mat washer and free vacuum! But, the amazing feeling of being in a spotless vehicle is value for my money!

It’s a decent car wash, but I feel as though the conveyer goes a little fast to properly dry your vehicle.
I have the membership, so it’s obviously not terrible! Would just be nice if they slowed it down a bit to eliminate the water spots left afterwards.

You want and official car wash? This does the trick! I actually can’t believe how easy it is to make the car look awesome in a couple short seconds.

A great value if you buy the club mint. The club mint is by far the best and most convenient thing. You go down the lane and it scans your barcode and you go in.

I do feel like it used to wash better as sometimes I have to go around again to get a complete clean. Also the dryer jets could be more powerful.

Solid place all around, I prefer touch less on my sports coupes. Good bang for the buck. I like to bring the pups in the SUV

Be very careful with your gas cap. It ripped mine right off. But the staff was very friendly and took all the proper information and said they will be in tough in a couple of days to fix it. So We will see.

Great car wash! Does a really good job, and it's really pretty darn fast too. Plus those huge vacuum hoses that go along both sides of the vehicle is a smart idea. And if you didn't know, the vacuuming is included in the price, no extra cost, which is really nice.

Much appreciated the complimentary vacuums and mat wash. Was disappointed I could show my appreciation by paying to wash my truck, but a clear sign indicated that the contractor rack on top is not allowed through the automatic washing bay. I've had good experiences with my other vehicles here in the past and so I know the wash works well.

I'd say go with monthly subscription after trying them out. Their equipment is great and love the staff they are kind and helpful. Good experience overall, definitely recommend it.

I have had no real issues with service nor the quality of the wash,
I have never had any chips, scratches, or any cracks which other people have been reporting.
Mint guarantees that you will be pleased with the wash, so if you aren't pleased. Go through again. It's that simple.

I will admit that using the credit card and them auto charging for monthly renewals seems a little bait tactic. BUT many other companies use this as a tactic for subscriptions, so you should be pretty aware of this before using this service.
They are happy to reimburse anyone who is dissatisfied with their memberships auto-renewing when it shouldn't have.

The answer to most of the negative reviews is. Go and talk to a manager to get things worked out. Don't just leave a negative review because you were lazy and didn't get the result you wanted.

Went to Mint (first time) we have 2016 fusion and had gone through carwash and when we got to the mall we realized the car wash did not get all the car. So we called and they agreed to wash it again but same problem.
I personally think the car wash moved you through too fast.
Very disappointed in the quality of the wash.
Staff were friendly and accommodating but sorry the was itself was a fail.

It was good experience being a customer since their first 2 weeks free car wash. And I appreciate that when my windshield cracked they fixed it for me really fast. I am happy customer and thank you again!

Great for quick wash and cheap memberships but of you care lots about paint job stay clear as dirt in brushes can put surface scratches on your vehicle, just like any automatic car wash will, unless it's touch less. The scratches have all been minor and will buff out fairly easily and are no worse than what my kids do so does not bother me much. Staff is also very friendly and organized.

I have had a membership since it opened and i have a paid year membership ship. Yahoo, I love the vacuums and mat wash. Best car was in town.
