I've been going here as a walk in nearly my whole life as I've always lived in the neighborhood, however in recent years the quality of service has really dropped. I've had multiple doctors who simply do not care at all about me or my concerns. I've felt rushed, spoken down to and not taken seriously, specifically by Doctor Marko. I've had some doctors here that have been kind and actually care, but very rarely.

I understand this review won't make any impact but still Both of the receptionists are not a people person and needs to be replaced as early as possible.

I really wish i could give zero stars.specifically give Dr. Zakhary zero stars.i had an appointment on january 15th 2023 at 11: 20.it was a referral from my primary doctor to see Dr. Zakhary, a supposed ENT specialist.i got to the clinic at ~11: 10, receptionist was playing a game on her phone and ignored us standing there for a couple minutes.didn’t get called into a room until 11: 40, and Dr didn’t come into the room until 12.was very very rude, barely looked at my nose and didn’t even look at the part that was injured, and when i said what part of my nose it was, she told me i was wrong? I’m the one living with the pain so i know where in my nose it’s located.barely explained the procedure/surgery needed and would contradict herself saying she would have to stop if she saw this, i said the same thing back to confirm what i heard, and she said “no that’s not what i said at all.don’t put words in my mouth. ” i said verbatim to what she said.she left the room for 40 minutes and when i asked TWO questions, she got very rude and seemed annoyed that i wanted confirmation and said that i shouldn’t ask any doctor this many questions because they are very busy.i had 2 questions.and the fact that a “professional specialist” would say “don’t put words in my mouth” to a patient after saying that exact thing seconds earlier is extremely unprofessional

Dr. Kirstina Zachary is rude and should not be considered a “specialist” considering she won’t even listen to the patients she sees.

This is the worst place ever. I went to the doctor and I asked him for a recommendation about a medication and he just tells me no no and he leaves. What on earth is that. Very ignorant and I don’t understand how he calls himself a doctor. There is zero customer service. Avoid this place!

Waited over an hour with only five people ahead of me. I asked avert an hour how long it will take they said there are still 3 people ahead of me. They don't care. Was rude and had a very nonsense attitude.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Cyrus here. She is a wonderful and caring physician who spent time explaining all concepts with me and took the time to follow up with me later about my results. She is a lovely person and has great bedside manner. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room as a walk-in, and the front staff was a young man who was very considerate.

This is my first time walking in a clinic to get a check up (if ever)
Today I Got a stomachache that I couldn’t understand so I went to this clinic. I’m in pain! So Since my work is close-by and the clinic’s closing time is favourable (so I thought) I could get a check up.
What happen was…I got there 6: 40 or 50sh pm, (as they close at 8pm (so the internet says) }THE RECEPTIONIST BEFORE TAKING MY INFORMATIONS, HE ASKED SOMEONE FROM THE STAFF if I am still ok to be look up (as a walk-in patient)
So when he gets back at me he said yes, so okay, he took my AHC, DL and Phone number. Then I was there at the waiting area when suddenly someone before me went to the receptionist coz it’s supposed to be her turn, she was ask to get back the next day coz they are close for walk ins. What the heck was that, I am just like her a walk-in with in need to be check. So, when she left, I ask coz I’m in pain. And what the lady (doctor’s assistant I guess) told me to go to the hospital coz there clinic is close for walk-ins. They should have told me by the time I GET HERE, RIGHT? !?

My sentiments is WHY GIVEN ME HOPE TO GET CHECK UP and suddenly it won’t happen.
If my case is worse why do they think I will come to there clinic? And what is a clinic for? Is not for my stomachache? Is my stomachache a hospital case? If it’s really worse I should’ve gotten straight to the hospital, or even call an ambulance. RIGHT? !?

I’m in pain, and you all know a person in pain is cranky and angry.

This clinic is unbelievable.

Do I still have hope to get a family doctor? Doubted! Please point me to a good medical clinic.

I love my doctor here, she is worth going here for, but the front desk staff are incredibly unhelpful. My doctor gave me a shortened prescription by mistake, I ran out of my medication, I called the clinic for help and the front desk staff told me there is no solution they can't contact my dr, I'd have to be a walk in and wait even though it's their bad. The receptionist didn't care it's urgent or an emergency refill, they told me they couldn't and wouldn't help.

I am so disappointed I have to write this review. My wife’s family Doctor Ebraham Sharif is ATROCIOUS.

We went to her after getting pregnant for our regular checkups. At every appointment, we would arrive early, get seen at the front desk 10 mins LATE, then not get admitted for another 20 mins. Overall 30 minutes late. In each of her appointments there was little to no care/questioning when she finally arrived. And cold bedside manner.

Then was the final appointment had to be by phone following my Wife’s Gestational Diabetes test, (which we got the results for ourselves in MyAlberta ID), all she did was share that same result, nothing else, other than reconfirming our preference of Foothills for our OB referral. Again. No need for this call. As this doctor just revalidated what she already knew (our Foothills referral) and what we already knew (our GD test result). The ABSOLUTE WORST PART- this doctor referred us to ROCKYVIEW.

Literally nothing this doctor did for us was Valuable or correct in the end.

This, on top of the slow service at the clinic I hope show you why we advise you to go elsewhere. Shame on this clinic for this sub par treatment.

As a Canadian I’ve lived in 7 countries and been a patient at many medical clinics around the world. The Mission Medical Clinic is the worst clinic I’ve ever been in. The middle-aged receptionist is not a people person and needs to be replaced.

Last October, 2022, I was in the clinic for a “Meet & Greet” with Dr. Marek Lichon. I thought I had broken my collar bone an hour before. I waited 50 minutes in the lobby in pain. When he can in I thought he was the janitor. If I was his Dr. I’d advise him to loose 30 kilos. The second time I saw him 10 months later he made me wait in the lobby another 50 minutes. As a sat in the lobby waiting a 20s something lady came in asking for her signed AISH paperwork. It was still not completed after her Dr.promised her paperwork was at the front desk. This was the third time she was there to get her signed forms.

Dr. Lichon and I have had 5 telephone calls together since I first met him. With 3 calls I had to wait 30 minutes for my phone call. With another call he forgot, and I waited 22 hours before he called me the next day. Only on one call did I have to wait 15 minutes. A few weeks ago I fired Dr. Lichon as my Dr.

A colleague of mine left this clinic 4 years ago because it was poorly run. The clinic still hasn’t improved it’s service and friendliness.

Please, go to another clinic.

Dr. Maryam Yoosefi is the worst doctor, professional I ever encounter. She rolled her eyes and gaslighted me just because I want further investigation. She was the typical medical gender biased accusing me of being anxious and not investigating the original complaining. The typical: “you are a woman with hormones, crazy, too emotional, it’s all in your head”.
I cannot believe Canada let such incompetent doctor being in practice. She is making a lot of money doing nothing, just denying patients with further investigation, gaslighting or being rude to patients that go there for help.

The whole clinic is a bunch of unprofessional people.

Not sure why Dr. Marco is in healthcare at all. Poor attitude, only interested in finishing up the day, not asking any relevant questions, couldn't care less. Go elsewhere if you can, a few blocks away there's better doctors.

Worst clinic ever!
Some doctors are super friendly, and some of them are not! Whenever I have an appointment I am always on time, and waiting for the doctor for 1,5 hours? It is insane! No coordination at all, clinic management should do something about it!

Great clinic, convenient hours. I saw another doctor at the clinic who was terrible. Dr. Lichen is my family doctor he is kind and caring and always helps me. Staff are caring and kind. When your dr is awayou have to come as a walk in its a joke insane wait times. 2 of the walk in doctor's are incompetent and should not be practicing.

The absolute worst doctors office. If I could give -1000 stars I would. This clinic does not even deserve the 1 star I’m FORCED to give. Dr. Hussian need his licenses revoked… ASAP. There’s a reason he has so many negative reviews. I went in to talk about blood work and his response. “You need to see your family doctor about this. ” YOU ARE MY DOCTOR!
he was dismissive and wouldn’t even listen to me when I tried to talk about my symptoms. I told him I wanted my health to be taken seriously and then he says “if you’re not happy then you need to consider seeing a different doctor” like this is what we have to deal with with todays Doctors. They brush you off and tell you to manage your stress. You wonder why the reviews are awful. They have a complete lack for anyone’s health. Do better or don’t be a DOCTOR! I will be calling CPSA to complain because this is not the first doctor that has brushed my concerns off at this clinic.
So tired of this.

The female physicians I have seen at this clinic have been excellent. Every male physician (they seem to be the majority) has been extremely dismissive and had terrible Interpersonal skills. I’d recommend avoiding this place or calling ahead to ensure a female doctor is available.

I visited the Clinic today. Front Office staff was courteous and Dr. Hossain very knowledgeable.

I've had good experiences and I've had bad experiences but Dr Lichon is always solid with me

Love 'em or not, this clinic is the one that opens the latest on weekdays and on weekends for walk-ins. Some of the doctors are not the best, most are very good and corteous. In any case, thankful for their hard work.

The woman at the desk and the woman who called me in were absolutely lovely. This review has nothing to do with them.
That being said, I had an issue with my prescription from my family doctor who has recently moved away. I’m currently between doctors but have had a few initial appointments booked months ago that I wasn’t able to get any earlier than next month. My family doctor set me up with more than enough refills to tide me over until I could get a new family doctor but because of a mix up in the way she wrote it I was only able to refill a part of my dosage this month and it was recommended to me from my old clinic that I go to a walk in to get access to the rest.
Unfortunately I don’t remember the doctor’s name but when I explained all of this to him he immediately treated me with the most blatant disrespect I’ve ever received from someone in his position. I was berated for not getting a new family doctor earlier and was told that if I tried to come back for another refill when he provided me a 30 day prescription that he would not be filling it. It’s not huge leap to read into what he was implying.
All he had to do was explain that he was uncomfortable giving me enough refills to match up with the refills I have available for the rest of my dosage due to the nature of the medication and I would have completely understood.

Perhaps this doctor should be given a reminder that wait times for family doctors that are accepting new clients are insanely long. And that it’s doctors like his that have made it so rather than trying to get a family doctor who had an earlier appointment time, I went with who my doctor recommended because she was the first one I’ve had who has treated me with respect and who I knew I could trust.

Regardless of someone’s intentions when coming to a doctor for help, no one deserves to be treated with the complete lack of respect that I received today. This doctor should not be practicing medicine as he so clearly has no control over letting his own biases cloud his ability to help people.

The doctor refused to refer me to a gastroenterologist. He basically said that unless you're about to die, they don't do any referrals.

Worst clinic in the area! Unprofessional, impolite, disrespectful. Fortunately, there is a new clinic opening up just south down 4th Street. Seems convenient, but it's a dump.

Dr Hossein is the RUDEST and most IMPATIENT practitioner I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with.

Don't go in for walk-ins. I've been going in for nearly a month for the same issue, and aside from one doctor, every time I've come out feeling disregarded. Hopefully my issue fixes itself but if it persists ill be going elsewhere and I would recommend others to do the same.

Always friendly, good location, fast response, the waiting is always not too long. I have lots of medical history and my family doctor has been helped with me a lot. Thank you!

It would have been nice to post on your website that you don’t do walk ins until after 5pm. I have torn ligaments in my foot and on crutches and your receptionist made sure I handled the door on my own… this place has got to be the worst in the city as other reviews state.

AVOID THIS CLINIC LIKE THE PLAGUE. I went as a walk in and had a horrible experience with the rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered. He was an East Indian man and didn’t even tell me his name. I went to get a refill for my medication and was told ‘we don’t do that here you need to see your family doctor. ’ The reason he said that was because there was 5 days left before I would have run out of my meds. You don’t refill a prescription at a clinic? Am I supposed to wait until im out to get a refill? I’ve never had such a terrible experience trying to get my prescription (which I’ve been on for months) refilled. The doctor didn’t even attempt to listen to me, as I tried to explain that I missed a phone appointment with my GP that morning which is why I went as a walk in. I’ve made the mistake of going here twice now. The first time was because of pelvic pain, I got turned down because I could have had Covid…I had no Covid symptoms. This clinic is a joke. It’s filthy, the receptionists are rude, the doctors are terrible and refuse to treat you. It’s a prime example of terrible healthcare.

As a new patient I was disappointed by a female philipins staff due her aggressive conversation over the phone. She denied me to talk with the Dr, she was rude due she was scared that I reported her to the Dr. (she made a mistake by calling me 4 times during one week just to ask in bad way “ why I didn’t take my mammogram when I was Re-scheduled)

I do not recommend to talk with she. It’s unacceptable.

My experience is worst about this clinic. On 7th January, I called an am ambulance and went to the hospital for angina pain. Mrs Jay Nandy is my doctor for 13 years. I had too many blockages so heart surgeon can not perform bypass. Foothills Cardio Vascular Dept.had to put 6 stents in my arteries. Between this I had Covid. I have no one to take me to doctor. So my social worker tried to get me handy bus pass. But it needs a doctor's approval. So social worker sent fax to my doctor. She received it and she knows it takes two months to get this approved from Handy Bus. So I thought while I am in hospital and sick, by that time my care giver Nurse and Social worker will try to get medical form from my doctor Mrs. J. Nandi. But she didn't fill up the form. She wants to see me personally, or she wants to talk to me over the phone, but she got all the reports from hospital. She didn't see all the reports. She made me wait to get my Handy bus approvals. She needs to talk to me because she can show those hours to Alberta Health Services. Just tell me I am not well I have Sore throat, fever, couldn't talk, coughing a lot. But she is heart less, I called my Social worker. She sent fax to her clinic. But we are failure to get that medical form. Just tell me what should I do?

This location is very convenient for me and the doctors are for the most part pretty decent there. That being said, the receptionists infuriate me. They demand that I go in to get a prescription filled and I pretty much have to yell at them to schedule a phone appointment. There’s no need to go in after I’ve been on the same medication for years, especially since my doctor deemed me healthy after my last physical just a few months back. And then when I went in for a walk-in appointment because of a cough I had that wasn’t going away, she tells me I need to leave and the doctor will call me. There have been so many other issues with the two receptionists. I’m done with this clinic and will be heading to the new convenient clinic that has opened up where the Humpty’s used to be.

Doctor Yousefi is nice and answers all questions. She was away and had Doctor Belleya (unsure about the spelling) and he was great too! I have been going there for years and had never had a problem like mentioned in the comments with receptionists.

Receptionists are the friendliest, but always had good experiences with the doctors. Walk in wait times are good as well, longest I’ve ever waited was 15 minutes.

Dropped in here recently and the experience was very good. Went at 8 when they first opened and was told the dr came in at 9 and would be able to see me then. By 9: 04 the doctor was helping me. He was respectful and answered all my questions professionally. Gave me some tips and made me feel very comfortable. Would go back here again and recommend.

As my family clinic, my walk-in option and my source for calls and inquiries, I couldn't ask for a better clinic. Mission Medical has been prompt, direct and professional in serving me for the last 3 years. Dr. Lemay is friendly, professional and a fair doctor who listens and provides personalized advice for everything. I am very please with this clinic.

I went in to have a rash treated, and get medicine for an ear infection. After making me wait for an hour they decided I have covid, even though I don't have any symptoms. I was told to go home and wait for the doctor to call. Sorry, but a phone consultation isn't good enough. I definitely won't be wasting time in this place again

Dr Lichon and his nurse are both incredible. Thank you for making me feel extremely safe and comfortable.

Dr Ebrahim Sharif is rude, condescending and not a helpful doctor to females. I will be filing an official complaint to the CPSA.

I have no idea why this clinic has such a poor rating, but it bothers me. The doctors and ALL STAFF are absolutely fabulous. I have been a patient of Dr. Hossein for almost a year and he is awesome. I moved to Calgary over a year ago and was suffering terribly with stomach problems and he helped me feel better within a couple months. I have also seen Dr. Seredycz and Dr. Miriam and had a great experience with both. If you are looking for great service, short wait times and extended hours, this is your clinic. I have never had a bad experience here and couldn't be more grateful for the service. Thank you everybody at Mission Medical Clinic for your hard work and dedication!

I called a day earlier to ensure the doctor would see me.when I arrived I was told that the doctor had decided to not see me.
That is disgusting. Since when does a doctor refuse to perform his services?

Very nice and professional environment. Have had a good experience every time I have visited for the last one year and is now my primary clinic.

This place is a joke. They have cancelled on me twice now within 30 minutes of my appointment time.
First time wasn't a huge deal, second time was to remove stitches.
They didn't have someone else who could take the 5 minutes to take these stitches out.
Will never be going here again.
Avoid if possible.

I continue to visit this clinic because my family doctor is really amazing, but the staff are just terrible. They have lost my test results, failed to submit other test and not given me proper direction (or any!) when I needed to book an ultrasound causing me several delays impacting my health. I called them one week after a requisition was supposed to be faxed in and they hadn't done it. You need effective support staff - please make the appropriate changes. Your support staff do not care about the patients and it is leading us to unnecessarily suffer.

1 star is already too much for this clinic. At first I called the clinic the night before and asked if the doctor can tell me my vaccination records, the receptionist didn't answer my question at all and just told me the Doctor doesn't talk to patients over the phone. So I made an appointment to see Marek Lichon, he claimed he doesn't have access to see my records of what vaccinations that I've had, when other walk in doctors that I've seen has access to Net care. Then when I asked about a Rabies vaccine, he advised me that I should reconsider as the side effects are not good for me. When asked what the side effects are, he told me, they will tell me when I'm going to get the needle, but he doesn't suggest it. I don't understand why he will tell me the side effects are bad, when he doesn't want to tell me what they are, but only when I decide to go in to get the needle. This just doesn't make sense to me and was a complete waste of my time.

Best place ever. Dr. D Nandi and Dr. J Nandi are two angels in earth. My family and my extended family have been with them since 2010. The place is nicely and professionally set up. Reception is easy to talk to, family oriented environment.very caring and helpful. Highly recommended. God bless MISSION medical professionals.

Awful experience! They take my info over the phone for an appointment then when I get there they can't find my info. Huge waste of my time and the receptionist was so rude I will never come back even though I live close by I will find anywhere else to go to

Returned for a follow up on a food poisoning diagnosis. Thr original doctor was not there and the attending one (Krzywicka) was confused by the simple paperwork and did not even examine me but simply wrotwe "patient says he has food poisoning, then charged me 60 dollars until i complainted and they reduced it to 40. Do not see this doctor!

My family doctor was there for 3 years and it was conveniently located for me. Otherwise, staff are sometimes rude, wait times even by appointment longer than most places. Not the cleanest. My doctor left and they asked me to pay to transfer my records which is a ridiculous money grab.

There are some really good doctors working here but I have found the front desk staff to be consistently unhelpful, unwelcoming and at times rude.

Called to inquire about going to this clinic. Was hung up on before my questions were answered.

I came in for a walk-in tetnis shot and a check up on my cut inside of my nose because a peicce of metal sliced it like swiss cheese and there was no on in the the clinic. Then this other person comes in also for a walk in about other reasons and as I'm bleeding all over myself somehow the girl that was second gets helped first. So yeah not sure what happened there but wait time for a not busy clinic should be 30-60 min. Not an hour and a half. Doctor helped alot.

Shortest wait time I've ever had in a walk in clinic. Staff was courteous, polite and friendly. In and out in less than 30 minutes.

I really don't understand the low point reviews. My experience here has never been anything other than excellent. I even had a walk in once where they called my name as I was sitting down! The doctors I've had here have been very helpful and non judgmental. Recommend them any time.

One doctor is very kind and has been good to our family - others not so much. Admin staff are rude and impatient. Will outright hang up on you in no time flat if you have too many questions or brush you off in person. It’s ABSOLUTELY worth the wait somewhere else. There are many other clinics close by!

PS, zip up your hoodie and wear a T-shirt underneath it guy, so gross. As if anybody wants to see your sweaty chest hair when they’re at the doctors office.

Dr. Kaler is an incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional doctor. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Maria Krzywicka is literally the worst doctor I have ever met. Abrasive, rude and inattentive. I am only writing this review in the hopes that people avoid her. The doctor I saw after was so appalled at her misdiagnosis that she wrote a letter of complaint about Maria. Avoid her at all costs
