Example *She came to our home just as the world pandemic was starting to shut everything down. I had Cleo, a very sick mini- dachshund, terrified of the office, but only because of toe nail trims
Instead of subjecting our family and Cleo to that anguish, she accommodated our request. Cleo passed in peace.
She has been a gift for us, on more than just one occasion.

Greatest vet ever! Dr Takacs is the best. Very friendly and always has my dogs best interests at heart. No needless meds or other procedures just prescribes what my dog needs. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

My cat and dog have been going to Mission Ridge Animal Hospital for 5 years now. Since they are signed up for the optimum care plan, the staff know them very well, and give them stellar care! All the vets are competent, professional, and principled, and all the support staff are friendly, respectful, and go out of their way to be genuinely helpful. My animals have mostly seen Dr. Katherine Takacs, who has been fantastic with both animals! After my dog ate something noxious, Dr. Takacs saw her immediately when I called, and saved her from what appeared to be certain death – she fully recovered; Dr. Takacs also problem-solved the pain my senior cat exhibited through her constant yowling – she is now content and happy and.quiet. I have been, and am, extremely happy with the advice and services that Mission Ridge Animal Hospital provides, and highly recommend them.

First impressions surpassed expectations! Dr. Lori was awesome. Front staff welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. A three legged cat was perfectly poised in the reception area with a gentle calmness that seemed to bring healing energy for the nervous few critters including our own Hazel. Very impressive facility and especially notable was the very quiet atmosphere …. No noise or cries of pain from other animals to terrify the animals waiting for attention. A wonderful asset. So glad we chose Dr. Lori and staff to care for our yorkie.

We recently moved to St. Albert and I took a lot of time and consideration into finding the perfect vet for my dog. She suffers some pretty severe anxiety and can't handle a lot of new people, other pets or new places. All of the staff at mission ridge were very patient with her and understanding. They did everything they could to help her feel safe and comfortable. She definitely had her best vet experience yet!

We adopted our first family pet, a kitty and needed to find a vet. When I called to book the appointment the lady I spoke to was very polite, helpful and informative. She got us into an appointment for time and day that worked best for us! When I arrived at the clinic for our appointment the staff was welcoming and checked us in quickly, our appointment started on time. We saw Dr. Lori Skrypnek and she was wonderful! She was so sweet with our kitty and my son. She took the time to answer all our questions and give us advice on best practice for a health happy cat! I really appreciated the time she took to explain everything to us and even showed us how to cut our kitty's claws. I have full confidence that we made the right choice with Mission Ridge Animal Hospital. Thank you too all the staff!

I have never been so thrilled with the love and care everyone has shown my pug Jim and me. I’m truly grateful. Jim has had a rough start to his little life and Dr Lori and her incredible staff have made sure he is receiving the best care on his road to recovery. I have been going to Mission Ridge Animal hospital for many years. All of the staff are wonderful to deal with from the Veterinarians, Vet Techs, to the lovely admin ladies. They truly care and have helped me manage my cats who have had various diseases from IBS, diabetes and pancreatitis. They make routine appointments go smoothly by being on time and always having treats! I highly recommend.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff; they make time to answer any questions you may have and never make you feel rushed out the door. They work hard to ensure your pets' safety and comfort during visits, providing treats, gentle talking, and lots of pets so your pet knows they're in good company.

Very thorough and helpful. The vet I was booked into had an emergency and wasn't in and the staff there went above and beyond to get me in to see another vet so we wouldn't have to miss our appointment.

Our little dog was really suffering from pain during the night, so we called Mission Ridge the next morning and they said to bring her right in. They were very caring. Because of her stance they said it looked like back pain. They did blood tests to rule out other problems, did x-rays, and sent her home on 3 different meds for pain management and rest (no running and jumping). Dr. Kelley called us with the results when they were available. On the medications and rest, she was a different dog the following morning. Dr. Kelley recommended an acupuncture treatment, which Dr. Wood did. Thank you to the Drs.and Staff at Mission Ridge! They were great. Hopefully she continues to improve.

Couldn’t be happier knowing our dogs are being looked after by a fabulous group of people. Mission Ridge truly cares about their customers and ensures a great experience. Their wellness plan is definitely an added bonus that sets them apart!

Mission Ridge has been our vet clinic for years. My last dog was taken well care of by Dr. Skrepnyk. He adored her. We have had our current dog for coming up to 10years and we have had Dr Woods and my dog adores her as well. He is exited everytime we pull in the parking lot. That says a lot when a dog gets exited to go to the vet!

I really enjoyed my experience at this vet office! Talking with the admin staff was a breeze and super friendly to work with! The veterinarian was super helpful, comforting, and very professional and knowledgeable. She even gave me a call a couple days later just to check in my pet. Will definitely be using this team in the future.

Mission Ridge Animal is by far the best place I have ever brought my pets in over 40 years. They are professional, caring and reasonable. They offer a wonderful monthly program. Dr. Woods is fantastic?

These people who work here love animals, my previous dog as well as my new rescued were handled with great kindness and care every time. My current rescue is super skittish around almost any strangers and has never even flinched being handed over into their care which really shows the care they provide. I’d definitely recommend this clinic.

Our Bichon Chester, now 12 and our newest addition, Sophie, a Havanese, have always received the best of care at Mission Ridge Animal Hospital. The staff and vets are kind, engaging and competent. Our usual vet, Dr Woods is wonderful. I remember taking my son’s dog in after a seizure, and she sat on the floor with him, to get to know him, before she made any attempt to touch him. She chatted to me as she made him feel safe. I was so impressed by her and her compassion. She always follows up with calls, and never rushes me when I ask my questions. Has my 100% confidence.

Great service and extremely lovely people. They clearly love animals on another level. They helped our one kitty with an issue and resolved it in a month. Great place.

Our little cat, Luna, went in for her shots and a spay, the staff was absolutely amazing. With the covid nonsense going on, they were still able to communicate with such professionalism. They answered all questions I had. And more importantly, they liked my cat. My dog, Grace, is also a patient, not once has she been scared to go to the doctor. I highly recommend them for all your pets needs.

Very prompt. When we arrived we were taken care of right away. The vet and assistant were so kind and thorough with our sweet Annie. They explained everything in great detail and were upfront about all of the costs associated with her vaccinations, spay and future boosters. Future appointments were booked before we had gone home that day.

Mission Ridge veterinarian hospital has been providing care for our pets and our children’s pets for 30+ years. They are always professional, honest and caring. Dr. Takacs has provided personalized care for our dogs and has gone above and beyond in providing the best care.

I’ve been going to mission ridge with family pets for my entire life. As an adult with my own fur babies now, there’s no place I’d rather take them! Every vet and vet tech has nothing but kindness and compassion for the animals and their families. They’re fair with pricing, and never try to up-sell folks for an unnecessary profit. I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else! Dr Takacs is a rockstar, and she is unbelievable at always following up and checking in to make sure the patients are healing as fast as possible, as comfortably as possible- which is so great for putting owners’ minds at ease along the way!

I've been taking my puppy here for over 10 years. I have always found the staff friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. Their concern for my pet is evident and they always go the extra mile to ensure he is well cared for. I receive follow up phone calls after any procedure and, if I have any questions, they are available and helpful. I highly recommend Mission Ridge and wish to say "Well Done! " to all the staff.

We are new to Mission Ridge Clinic but not to our longtime favourite Vet Dr Kelley Havinga.

She has cared for our 2 and 3 year old Siberian Huskies since they were babies. Following her was never up for debate and we trust her implicitly.

The Clinic was clean and everyone was practicing strict protocols. Stephenie has been lovely to deal with as well. We are looking forward to getting know the Team. Deb and Josh

I have been bringing my beagle here for several years. I even drive from Millwoods because I know Dr. Katherine will always take good care of her and provide genuine, caring service. Everyone here has always been extremely caring and kind. I will continue to make the drive.

I have had my two dogs cared for by Mission Ridge since I came to St. Albert six years ago, and have found the service excellent and the staff caring and supportive. I have recommended friends to them. I would not change as long as I am in the area.

I've taken my cats and dogs to Mission Ridge since I moved to St. Albert more han 30 yearaago and would never consider changing. They've helped my pets with everything from first and then lifetime vaccinations to spaying/ neutering to minor injuries to horrific injuries to sental surgery to euthanasia. The veterinarians, the techs and the office staff are unfailingly kind and compassionate with both the animals and the owners. It is crystal clear that they truly love animals and love caring for them

I have been going to Mission Ridge for over 10 years. My dogs have gotten the best care and I have been treated with respect. I never feel rushed and I never feel that they are pushy. I feel I can have a discussion with them. If it wasn't for Mission Ridge I am not sure if either of my dogs would still be with me.
