MKT Fresh Food Beer Market

Came in for the Oilers game tonight and had an exceptional experience. Crystal was great, best service we’ve ever had at MKT!

Food was awesome.
But if you go on an off night: don’t sit at the bar. One bartender 7-8pm Monday Feb 5th.

We were the only people at the bar who didn’t work there.
They had uniforms on behind the taps as you walk in.

Wear a staff shirt if you want service…?

We had my sisters birthday party there on Saturday, what an amazing team! As busy as they were that day, they took the time to help search options for a plug in to turn on a neon sign. No request was too large.top notch team, so happy!

MKT has been one of my favourite spots in Edmonton for several years. I have hosted and attended a few birthday parties here as they have several room options available to rent out. One of which includes the entire 2nd level including their bar w/arcade games. Great spot for an after work drink on Thursday drinks as drafts are on for $4. You can pair this with their regular nachos as the large version is definitely the option for any get together as it comes out on a keg topper.
Personal favourite beer is their Red Dillerium. They have several options for those looking for GF.
We tried their Udon Noodles last time we popped in, it was the perfect mixture of sweet and spicy. I would have these again!
Large patio + great spot to watch any game. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere here! Until next time:)

Beer selection is great and their new patio is really nice. However, their food needs a facelift. Their gravy is inedible.

Overall, good food and good drinks. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to enjoy the patio.

Brought a group of 24 people there. Booked it last minute and they accommodated us on the epic patio. Great food, great drinks and even better service. Highly recommend it.

Been at his place several times but last one was extremely disappointing. We booked a reservation for a large group and ordered appetizers in advance for them to be ready at our arrival. They split us up in several small tables instead of a large table and appetizers never came. Also they advertise all day brunch on Sundays but they were out of several items in the afternoon. I ordered the brisket bennies and the meat was so super hard and came with the worst tater tots I’ve ever had instead of the country potatoes listed on the menu (and I wasn’t asked if I was ok with the sub). I don’t think I’ll ever have food from here again. If we come for drinks we’ll make sure to eat before. Oh, and some of the appetizers came once we were already eating our mains…

Its honestly a shame to have such a nice building, in the perfect location and the food taste like that. I have not been for a while and likely won’t be back, much better places than this to meet with friends!

Not impressed by the food. We ordered fried pickles, the breading was falling off and the skin on the pickle was hard to get through. Also got hush puppies and they were not as we expected, texture was off and too salty. We didn’t end up finishing those. Finally we got the BBQ chicken pizza and overall it was a good pizza but chicken was over cooked. Took us about 1.5hrs to get our food. Did not get the service we wanted: (Not happy

Came for late lunch around 2: 30 on a Sunday and it wasn't very busy so we were served quick and attended well. Food was excellent for the price. Didn't need to sit for 20 minutes with an empty glass for it to be filled again the server came and filled it when it was close to being empty. A little tricky to get into off the street because of construction outside but well worth getting to.

There’s a lot of different beer choices to make, unfortunately most beers are boring commercial brands, pre Covid they had at least 3-4 good craft IPA’s to choose from, now just one mediocre craft ipa from the USA, the half beer chicken we got was dry, but edible the burger was good but not over the top, I’d still recommend this place but don’t have big expectations of lots of good beer or incredible food.

Waited 20 min for service, drink not as advertised, “out” of a rum required. Wing night “no longer in effect “ even though advertised.

Manager on duty was a complete D, rudely suggested we go elsewhere as there are many other establishments in walking distance.

Very nice beer selection on tap. Great place to enjoy old favourites and discover new ones. Brunch menu had a good selection of classics and some elevated created dishes like posh eggs on toast.

We hosted a corporate team building event at MKT this past Friday, and were extremely pleased with our event! The staff was attentive, professional and pleasant, and kept on top of our orders efficiently. We hosted this same event with MKT last year and had a very positive experience both times. We definitely recommend MKT for a party/function. The second floor was the perfect size for our group of 55, and could have held more of us. We look forward to booking another event with you MKT!

We came here for Father’s Day and we are so glad we chose MKT. Everything was great and it was our first time at MKT.would definitely recommend for good beer flights and brunch!
