I was met with understanding and no judgement at all. We were given options we didn’t know we had. Any and all questions were answered quickly. The ability to go in person or remote has be handy for us as well.

Everyone I dealt with is amazing. They put my mind at ease and very caring and compassionate. I have already recommended them to 2 other people who are struggling with debt.

Life happens and in my case everything and anything happened at the same time. I got information about MNP and I went to them with certain trepidation, oh my Gosh! Everybody working there are just amazing! From the receptionists, the secretary I felt welcome and a little bit less stressed, they explained in plain English all the process and what to expect and what is not going to happen, I just love all the people working there, Melissa, Tanya, Kristine and some other names that don't come to memory right now! I do feel bad that I could not go with the place my step mom works. She had recommended it to me. I just couldn't afford the large upfront fee they wanted. It doesn't make any sense as they would know your broke in the first place! I went with MNP in Red Deer. They were wonderful and now I am officially debt free! It feels so good. I has hounded by phone, email, mail and text by the company's I owed money to. I was paying my interest only. I appreciated the information MNP taught me. I enjoyed the video I watched. They taught me skills. I had my payments set up to come out on payday. So I hardly noticed. The time flew by and I was able to pay it off early without a penalty. Did you know some places penalize you for that!? I think that consumer proposal sounds much nicer than declaring bankruptcy. Lastly I really liked how they wanted me to have a fun goal to work towards while paying off my debt. Something for myself like a car or vacation. Teaching me to save up for something rather than using credit. Two thumbs up guys!

When I first decided to go to the Red Deer MNP branch I was embarrassed and ashamed of being in the predicament that I was in. I walked into the door, and I was greeted by a very professional staff who listened. They were very understanding and offered me advice and counselling to start to get my life back on track. It has been 3 years now and MNP still has my back if I have issues, questions, or concerns. In my personal and professional opinion. The MNP Insolvency group and accounting group are second to none. It has been a really difficult 5 years for us, believe it or not the pandemic was not the worst financial hardship for us. We were out of options in trying to manage our debt. My husband and I had been trying to pay our debts on our own and were barely keeping our head above water. We also had a baby.

We called MNP and were booked an appointment with Jillian. She was friendly off the bat and was thorough explaining things to us. We went in embarrassed at our situation but she looked at us and said “Why didn’t you come in sooner? ” She didn’t make us feel the least bad; in fact, she seemed to truly care. She went through all the options with us and made sure we understood what they all meant and entailed. We decided the best option for ourselves, she said it was our decision only, she couldn’t help us make it. Then she did up the paperwork for us and took care of everything. She even got us in touch with a dealership and got us into a brand new vehicle so we wouldn’t have to worry about maintenance on our old one. We left our initial appointment feeling like the world had been lifted off our shoulders.

We were then transferred over to Tanya anytime we had a question after that, who was equally as helpful. Always quick to answer my emails.

We ended up being able to pay our Consumer Proposals off a year early. I have recommended MNP
to several people. They make everything simple, everyone is so friendly and professional. They taught us life lessons about budgeting and how not to make the same mistakes and it has been a literal life changer.

The staff at MNP were 100%. There is no easier way to say it. My financial situation was in great trouble and the stress levels that come with that burden are at the most of times to hard to handle. I dealt with Donna, Tanya and Cheryl. They all played their own special part in the process and were all very comforting. I had to take over 5$ pay cut. So I was finding it harder to make my payments on my truck, which I need to get to and from work. They helped by getting into a smaller car with better gas mileage and helping me understanding what I need to do get get back on top of my life.
So thank you MNP! When I really needed a little help.
The courses I needed to do helped a great deal. I’m on month one of budgeting. By this time next year I should be a pro.

Everyone at MNP are understanding of each situation and reason a person might need to hit the reset button on their debt and credit score. With their help and counseling a person is able to make a new start, catch a breath of fresh air and shake off that horrible feeling of drowning in debt. They are very descreet with all the details and are definitely able to advise for the best course of action to consolidate debt and rebuild credit. They also have great training and advice on how to prevent another case of more debt then a person can handle, just follow the steps and a person can get back on the good side of their credit score. If it wasn't for our quick decisions and the knowledgeable staff at MNP, being laid-off in March 2020 would have buried us in so much debt we would have been forced to go for bankruptcy, but with their help my husband and I are going to be able to restart on building our credit score for the better and we won't be letting the debt over whelm us again.
