A really neat place to check out. I went for my first float and wasn't sure what to expect but all the info on their website helped me understand what I'd be getting into. The tub is huge and has a tall ceiling. The videos online don't show off how big the tank actually is because I was expecting smaller and was surprised of how much room I had once I was in there. The sensation of floating is the coolest thing I've experienced. You don't think about it at all, just exist weightless for an hour. It is very well soundproofed. I didn't hear any sound from the other rooms beside mine. Recommend to anyone who just needs to escape and relax for an hour.

This was a great and relaxing experience. Everyone has their own reasons for trying this but for me I needed to really destress from a hard month and I was able to get a lot of muscle tension relieved from the float. Great experience.

Best place to float in the city hands down. The place is so professional and beautiful. The soundproofing in the tanks is such high quality, better than other locations. Love the people they hire, always so pleasant and welcoming. If you are debating coming, this is your sign to do it!

I find it difficult to breath inside the tank for the last two visits. I am not sure whether it is caused by temperature. I don’t think there is air circulation system inside the tank. I felt severe short of breath (I am health and do cardio each day). If there is no air circulation system, it has risk of suffocating.

Cute little spot to relax your mind and soak in some Epson goodness. Left with a fresh and calming feeling. Highly recommend. We got the 3 pack and now 10 pack. Looking forward!

What a nice float! Staff were also friendly. Facility was very clean and tidy. Based on my experience at other float places, I think a seat in the shower area of the room would be helpful, and the ability to control the lighting color in that space. It's nice to come out to warmer light after your float, but that's just me! Thanks, Modern Gravity! I'll be back soon:)

Overall it was a pleasant experience, I always enjoy meditation. But to be fair I didn’t enjoy the blue lights when coming out of the tub I feel the colour red would be more relaxing and less intense on the eyes. I also felt it to be a bit too warm and muggy to fully indulge the experience.

The man in the front was outstanding and gave excellent service, and the fact they have a chill little library truly knocks the experience out of the park. The lion mural also won me over!

Absolutely fantastic, I'm not normally a guy who can stay in one place very long but I'll be going back to do this again.

Very good experience! I went here for my first float and being from 5 hours away, I was very impressed with their service. The guy at the front was incredibly kind and asked if there was anything they could change to improve. They truly care about your experience and want to make sure its the best. The float rooms were a great temperature and had everything you would need, they also have a vanity with a dyson blow dryer and all the attachments for use after. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the city.

The pools are large and very spacious, I'm not a fan of small dark spaces so this is fantastic! Staff is welcoming and helpful.

I went on a weekend and it was a very quiet and calming space. The showers were clean and fancy and the staff provide everything you need! The float chamber was such a cool experience and I would reccomend everyone to try this at least once!

Modern Gravity! It is such a unique and wonderful place to go to find relaxation, peace, calmness and a sense purpose rediscovery for some. I can't say enough of that place. The experience is out of this world.

Great relaxation service, nice spacious and clean pods and bathroom. Best feeling after getting some dry needling done for sore and tweaked muscles usually leaves you tired and sore, this takes all the pain and tiredness away leaving you with a refreshed and rejuvenated feeling. Ready to carry-on your day in full.

I had a wonderful time. This was my first float here and I am HOOKED. It's so easy to melt into the water and let go of all your built up stress. Very clean and inviting studio. The option to have the lights on or off is great. 10/10.

First time ever in a float tank and it was a great experience, definitely recommend this location to anyone.
I haven't met all the staff but I got to meet Vira and he has a major relaxed tone to him which made me less nervous and the experience more comfortable.
The shampoo, conditioner and body wash is organic which was really nice! And the lights in the room/tank set off good vibes.

The absolute epitome of the floating experience. There is a radiating energy of peace and tranquility pervading the entire property; within which every tiny detail is carefully considered and addressed with high quality solutions. From the dim, blue, ambient lighting in your personal shower and tank room, to the bench of personal amenities on your way out.

I've tried a few studios around the city due to location. I've visited these guys a couple of times and their tanks are the best I've experienced. After my first ever float (at their previous location) I couldn't believe how awesome I felt.

3 weeks later and I still had water in my ears. I asked myself, how did I get here? Earplugs were offered, and I accepted them, yet right before I got in the tank I decided not to use them. Why?

Will there be another day that passes where I don't hear the slosh of water in my ear? Is this the last thing I will hear on my deathbed? So I can reminisce on my floating days one last time?

Anyway, I really enjoyed my float. First floaters watch an instructional video which was very helpful. I had zero questions after that. The rooms and tanks were really clean. The tanks were spacious. Not claustrophobic at all.

I had asked ahead of time for the water to be slightly warmer, and the temperature was perfect for me. I'm glad I had made that request.

For me, I found it a bit hard to find the most comfortable position right away. By the end of the float I had figured out what felt best.

Overall, great experience. I recommend earplugs.

Great for first time floaters, conditioned floaters and the skeptical. No small space feeling, everything you possibly could think you would need JP, Mark & the team have it all. Affordable also!

The staff and facilities were all great. You literally need to worry about nothing. They have everything you need.

I gave floating a try after learning a little more about it and it's honestly something everyone should try one. It can be pricey but it is a very unique experience and I think most people would benefit greatly from the atmosphere here. The service is excellent and the tubs are spacious so you don't feel cramped while you float.

Before I started floating I was so nervous and skeptical of the concept/idea of it but once I opened my mind to it, it's now my favorite way to relax. If you're on the fence about floating; just do it! You won't regret it. I've been to another float place in yeg and I 100% prefer Modern Gravity over it. The starlights and underwater lights in the tank make it way more comfortable. The staff here are always very friendly and accommodating!

The air inside the float area was a bit muggy and hot, but overall a very relaxing experience.

If you commonly get motion sickness, this might not be your thing. While it was relaxing and enjoyable, it knocked out my equilibrium for 2-3 days and I was pretty sick afterwards. The only way to overcome motion sickness is to build up an immunity to it, so this is as good a way as any.

The waiting room has some good couches and a nice choice of teas for you to sit and relax for a bit after the float.

If floating is your thing, this is a good place to float.

Absolutely incredible experience. I would recommend floating to anyone suffering from depression or anxiety, it is a wonderful natural remedy to calm yourself down and feel centred again. The staff at Modern Gravity are so accommodating, and the entire studio is based around keeping you as comfortable as possible. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Loved my float experience. For someone who is claustrophobic I had no problems at all. They are huge pods and options of different lighting! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I counted the stars in my float tank lol, 168.

First time to experience this and loved it. Serene and calm environment, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the introductory video eased any worries. Also, fantastic intro pricing. Loved the cozy and relaxing area provided with tea and mindfulness colouring books to transition back to the world.

I'm an avid floater and I have been to multiple facilities around the city. Today was my first time at Modern Gravity and I'm blown away. Right away you can tell that they have put a lot of thought into the facility, down to every small detail. Its very clean, fresh and visually appealing. The atmosphere as soon as you want in the door is very calming and relaxing. The private suites were very clean, all necessities were provided and the temperature was very comfortable. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to share this place with my friends and clientele.

I can't say enough great things about this space, company, people, environment, and the practice of sensory deprivation floating. I've been a floater for many years now and have gotten a variety of positive benefits for my mind, muscles, memory, sleep, energy, anxiety, hair & skin, focus, stress levels, and overall wellness. If you haven't, you have to! And (consumer to consumer) if you do, make sure to buy the 3 pack! Not because it's the best deal but because it takes time for your body to fully relax into the idea and practice of floating. It takes time for you to be quiet with your own thoughts. And like anything, you'll get better and better the more you do it.

Great experience with clean individual float rooms. Relaxed with a nice cup of herbal tea, after the float in a lovely quiet space. Staff was very helpful.

After suffering from severe neck pain I was told to try floating by both my massage therapist and chiropractor.the experience has been nothing short of amazing. If you are worried your mind will wander that is the point! After several sessions I am hooked. I also love that it is a room here and not a pod

Had an amazing float! The Tanks they have are some of the best I have ever floated in, the water and air temperature were absolutely perfect! The facility is so clean and new. The water is perfectly heated to body temperature. Each room has a shower to shower before you go in and after (it has body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well and towels). You'll hear soft music when your float is done. It was such a unique experience floating there. At some points I experienced a very deep relaxation, like I connected to a deeper part of myself. I definitely recommend choosing Modern Gravity if you're looking for a place to float.

As someone who works with the public and feels over stimulated and over saturated, this experience was beyond awesome. The service was polite and friendly. The facility is clean, minimalistic, and quiet. It was one of the most amazing experiences. Can't wait to go again.

This was the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced. As someone who used to suffer with anxiety, and struggled with carrying lots of stress I had tried everything. Meditation, yoga, massages, acupuncture, weightlifting, and it would all help a bit but nothing like this. To be fair, I don't suffer from those things barely at all anymore, but to have somewhere you can go to completely escape everything in the world was amazing. Pure quiet, darkness, weightless, absolutely nothing distracting you. It was the most peaceful and relaxed I have EVER been. I highly reccomend this to everyone. On top of that the facilities are immaculately clean and the owners are super friendly genuine guys. They've truly thought of every single little thing with this company. I wouldn't reccomend anyone else.

Excellent facility. The staff are always great, space is spotless, and the atmosphere is perfect. It's hard to explain the experience of floating. All I can really say is that it's the hour I look forward to the most and after a half dozen or so floats I crave the peace it creates.
