Used to be constantly delicious, then they changed the meatball recipe. They used to be incredible tasting, I would order extra meatballs every time. Now, they taste kinda gross. Almost like cheap frozen kinds. Disappointing.
Great place to stop for a bite. We had the Stromboli, baked spaghetti & meatballs, and our son had the chicken fingers & fries. All of it was amazing! The bread they serve as the starter was so soft and fluffy - husband says it’s easily the best bread he’s had. Our server was super kind as well.
Always SO delicious! I always get the fettuccine Alfredo baked with cheese and my boyfriend always gets the seafood a la vodka, both are amazing every time. Bruschetta was delicious I recommend getting that baked with cheese too! Tasty bacon wrapped scallops and drinks. Make sure to ask about the cheesecake of the day! I’m always too full so I always get a piece to bring home!
Great little Italian restaurant in the Fort. It was not busy when we went (Tuesday evening). Our waiter was friendly, and the food was very good. We will be eating here again.
Psrty of 10. Kalamari was frozen rings, rubbery, tasteless, and served with marinara sauce, very sweet with barely any herbs. Sister's risotto was passable. Service was ok. A friend knocked over her wine glass and they were going to charge her for it. After some grumbling from the rest of us, they agreed not to. Others seemed ok with their meals. Having been in the restaurant business for the better part of my working life, I wasn't the least bit impressed. Find some other Italian place to eat!
We had lunch here on Mothers day and it was an amazing experience. We were greeted by the chef in charge as we walked in and he served us the entire time. We thought he was the owner as he treated it like his own. The food was excellent as well. Highly recommended.
We had to be out in this area and decided to make it a date night. Wanted Italian. Not even a little disappointing. Lots of food. Had to take some home. Looking forward to eating the left overs. If you’re looking for Italian you won’t be sorry.
Al was awesome and attentive as our server. He remembered my daughter's order, and she hadn't been there in person in quite a while. Kids' food came out fast and hot, with the rest of the food shortly following. Drinks were never empty. The Cosmopolitan I had from the Fort Distillery was amazing.
Service, food quality and portion sizes seem to be inconsistent lately. Food the last couple of times was not as good and I'm not liking the smaller portion sizes.
I think this place is still worth a try, but I do hope they get back to former quality.
*********Original Review******** I have been to this restaurant more than a few times and it has become a family favorite. The prices are reasonable, portions are generous, food is always made fresh and served hot and the complimentary bread and oil is a great starter.
We've had many of the pasta items and do far there have been no complaints, even the kids loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's a bit of a hidden gem in Fort Saskatchewan.
Try it, you will almost certainly not be disappointed.
This restaurant is one of the finest gems in Fort Saskatchewan. A must if you are in Fort Sask, If you are in Edmonton take a 30 min drive to this spot for some of the best Italian food in Northern Alberta. You won't regret it. The chef was very knowledgeable and provided perfect combinations for food and drink. Modified the food as per my request to the point. Fresh food and meat products are used, which supports local vendors, which was a big thing for me. The ambiance, service and food all was above and beyond expectations.recommend this spot for your Italian taste buds to be satisfied.
