In addition their abatement included creating "basically a green house with high humidity which would only exacerbate any mold. "

We were in process of replacing our condo floor. When washer and dryer were removed, black mold was found on the floor underneath. Floor installers contacted us and indicated they could not continue to work until remediated. We contacted Marsha at Mold Squad, explained our very time sensitive situation and she immediately set up an appointment within 3 hours for Ryan to come out and complete an assessment. Both Marsha and Ryan were awesome in recognizing urgency of our request. Ryan did not think the remediation was too serious and arranged to get a crew out first thing the following morning. Both Roy and Sean arrived at the scheduled time. Both were excellent and completed the removal, remediation and sanitization within 2 hours. We had our flooring crew back on the job by 10: 30am. All of the above individuals at Mold Squad exceeded our expectations... Thank you very much. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Mold squad did an excellent job at our rental property. We considered various companies, and were most impressed with this company initially, then throughout the project. The project involved removing mold from the attic and adding additional insulation. Scott was professional and communicated with us as the work was evolving. The price was fair for the amount of work involved and comparative to other companies we had requested a quote from. We have recommended Mold Squad to others.
We have decided to use them again for another project.

They are not licensed to take deposits! Never accept a deposit from them, I confirmed with the government of alberta that they cannot take deposits or progress payments. When confronted, I received an answer of "we dont need one and have been doing business in calgary for 'x' amount of years" which is absolutely false, so business has been illegally conducted if thats the case. NEVER accept a deposit from them. Will be filing a report with the province and the city against this. DONT MESS OVER YOURSELF! Once confronted the emails stopped.

Had some concerns with potential mold in a crawl space. Marco provided a free assessment and was very professional and knowledgeable. Marco didn't push for remediation and was very honest with his assessment. Although I didn't need any work done I am very confident that if any issues arise in the future I will go through mold squad.

Mold Squad responded to my request for an inspection quicker than other companies I reached out to. Marco was very professional, friendly and excellent to deal with. His promptness and professionalism made an already stressful experience feel a lot better. I would happily refer Mold Squad to anyone stressed over a potential mold problem.

Marco (Project Manager) and his team (Harvey, Gord, Sean, Gilbert, Alen) did a wonderful job, start to finish. Marco was responsive, efficient and provided detailed supervision on all the work performed by his team. His team was very organized, tidy and respected my home.

I recently had a wonderful experience with this company. When my new tenant discovered an issue I had to call after normal business hours and was super impressed with the quick and professional help I received that led to a great resolution.

We contacted Mold Squad since there was a presence of mold detected in our attic.
From the time I made the initial call for a quote, till the job was completed, I have nothing but the praise about this company. The professionalism, timely manner, reasonable prices, cooperative nature and perfection are certain but few attributes I would like to mention about the staff and the owners. Marco was the project Manager and he did a fabulous job from start to finish. Suzanne coordinated everything from the office, while Eric (owner) promptly signed off knowing the urgency of the situation.

Customers be aware. $ 99.00 investigation fee for consultation. REFUNDABLE on awarding of contract only. I can't comment on operations but based on other reviews I would assume solid.

After some research and booking quotes/appointments, there are multiple other reputable, qualified mold remediation / removal specialists. Which provide this for free as scope of work.

Booked multiple quotes from various providers and called back to give them the opportunity to bid if this was waived (fair practice / opportunity?), which was refused.

Raised more questions than answers if they are not willing to bid competitively if they lost $ 99.00? Every project has issues and speed bumps what other issues would be refused if they were encountered? Food for thought.

These guys were live savers. They were courteous, responsive and very professional. They knew I was on a time limit and got the job done for me right away. The job was done absolutely above my expectations, no short cuts or sub standard of work even on the short notice I had given them work with! We have used mold squad on multiple projects. Very accurate in what the do. All the paper work is done. Always been on time for us and never had any hidden fees or extras. Will definitely keep on using them.

I couldn't be happier with mold squad and their service. I had a really bad experience with a rv dealership were they left my tent trailer out side for 2 weeks with a crack in the hull that lead to the front storage.it was left out in the rain then left for 2 weeks in the sun.needless to say there was black mold. I called up the mold squad after doing some research and was able to get a appointment the next day and they had the whole process done in just a few hours. Amazing service and price.

Mold Squad went above and beyond even my highest expectations. I had a leak in my basement that had been going for at least 5 months. We just weren't financially capable to remedy the situation so I just shut the door and ignored it. Eventually the smell got so bad I was forced to call Mold Squad to have a look. They let me know it was so bad it's now a health issue and must be fixed immediately. Scott brought this to the attention of the president Erich. They took into consideration we have kids in the home and felt the need to find a way to help. Scott sent his amazing crew Darrell and Chili who absolutely decimated any trace of mold while patiently talking me through the whole process. Scott also sent Mitch who did a meticulous and clean job on the plumbing. Top to bottom, just great service and work. Most importantly, its evident its not just about the money, this company genuinely cares.
