Momentum Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab - Okotoks

The staff at Momentum are very friendly and welcoming. I had a sprained muscle in my leg which was causing a lot of pain and discomfort. Lauralee was my therapist and after only a few visits she was able to get me walking without a limp again. Lauralee is a very knowledgeable and lovely person. I highly recommend her!

Jamie K was my physical therapist at momentum. She was great to work with and did absolute wonders helping to relieve my pain. All of the staff was wonderful, pleasant and helpful.

Have had ongoing issues with my shoulder which required physio. I was fortunate to have Nolan access my injury and provide me with a plan to recover and reduce pain. Received excellent care and would definitely recommend Nolan.

My son has worked with physio team and with trainer Henrik Kovacs for a few years for injury prevention and strength and conditioning. My son always gets an amazing workout and looks forward to his time at momentum. Highly recommend.

Have gone here for 2 separate injuries and seen two different physios. Nolan and Lauralee. Both of whom were excellent, professional, and gave good recommendations and a schedule for getting better.
I feel that having good experiences with 2 different physios is a huge testament to the hiring team there that makes sure the staff they have are educated, experienced, and pleasant to be around.
If I ever get injured again I will go here for sure.

Unfortunately, due to a sports injury, I required Physiotherapy and was referred to Momentum for such treatment. I was assigned to a physiotherapist; Sabrina Baliksy. Our first of 12 sessions was the assessment of my injury. Sabrina was thorough and explained everything that pertained to my injury and treatment. After a month of sessions my injury was much healed. She emailed me (home exercises) that I could do on my spare time throughout our sessions. I would recommend Sabrina as a therapist, as she was very knowledgeable, professional and very personable to work with. Would highly recommend her and the Momentum Physical Therapy program in general. All staff members I noticed were all very professional in nature. Gord Parke.

I’ve had two experiences at this clinic so far and both experiences have been fantastic. Physiotherapist Sabrina and Massage Therapist Christel were both great to work with and very knowledgeable. Also, every other staff member I interacted with added to the positive experience. The clinic was clean and everyone seemed to enjoy being there. Great atmosphere.

I've really valued the time I've spent at Momentum. The staff are friendly and caring. Physiotherapist Eva Jackman is empathetic, a good listener and she respects my point of view. Moreover, she"s been effective at restoring my strength, function and overall well being.

I ended up With an over use injury from running and Stephen was able to help me get back to my running, He gave me exercises that would strengthen the muscle where I had the imbalance and it has been good. I would highly recommend Stephen and his team they excellent and very caring.

Sabrina was so friendly and made me feel comfortable while she assessed my injury. She quickly identified the area of concern and came up with a plan! I always feel so well taken care of at Momentum and highly recommend Sabrina or any of the other lovely physiotherapists who work there.

Excellent treatment by Reid made my recovery quick and in an excellent environment, really enjoyed my treatment time at momentum physical therapy, Reid homed in on my injured area and with his vast amount of experience made my recovery fast and with the help of the staff in this complex made it a great experience.

I visited this facility on Dec 8th, 2022 to get some treatment regarding Physio advise and acupuncture on several issues.
I must say it was an exceptional experience from the receptionist, Physio, exercise etc.

The physiotherapist (Lauralee) did a fantastic job on me. A total new experience for me because it was actually the best Physio session I've encountered.

I loved my experience at momentum physical therapy. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I looked forward to heading there for treatment. I strained my soleus muscle about a month and a half before my marathon and was nervous I wouldn't be able to run it. Thanks to Nolan and the team that's there in the mornings, I ran it with almost no pain in my calf.

I also got a running assessment done by Stephen, which has been so helpful. He gave me advice on my cadence and form; since then, my pace has increased. Henrik provided me with a great strength training program as well. Momentum will defiantly be my go-to physio place from now on!

I have been using Steven and his team’s services for almost 5 years now. When I moved to Canada from South Africa I found that most physio’s only wanted to use their equipment with no obvious plan and no hands-on therapy. Steven and his team use a wide range of treatments and recovery plans which have got me to the finish line in good shape for 3 full marathons, in spite of plantar fasciitis, shin splints, major tights calves and hips, and other niggles. Also solved my wife’s foot pain which another physio said needed surgery. If you are clear about your expectations you will not be disappointed in the results from Momentum Okotoks!

Eva was friendly, knowledgable and took great care to tell me of her proposed path to my future well being. I would highly recommend her.

Momentum physiotherapists and Crystal, the massage therapist, are very knowledgeable, educated, and professional. After a horrific car crash I have begun concussion therapy with Reid who is providing an individualized plan. He offered me a room that provided a darker and quieter setting for my assessment (less stimulation for my brain). Very thoughtful.

I had one of the best experiences at momentum. My physiotherapist is sabrina, and shes the best. I was almost immobilized because i hurt my neck really bad during a workout, luckily they were able to take me in the same day. She did wonders for my neck. Everyone there is really caring honestly.
