I dread coming to the dentist, but this clinic makes it a little bit more bearable. I’ve been a patient here for 10+ years. Definitely a good clinic for when you have anxiety.

Sahar my dental hygienist was amazing. She was gentle and considerate while cleaning my teeth. She was patient, helpful and took the time to explain my dental records.

Today was my first time visiting this clinic. I am a person who feels great anxiety with dental work, but today was a great experience from start to finish! The dentist, Dr Cocoa, has a wonderful personality and with the dental assistant Sukh, both made me comfortable and reassured me. I asked for the nitrous gas and it helps me so much. The Dr made sure I was thoroughly frozen and I felt no pain at all. I thought I'd need root canals, but fortunately I did not. I've been to dentists in the past who tried to up-sell me with work I probably didn't need. No pressure whatsoever at Monterey. The front desk staff were super helpful and kind. This visit was the best dental experience of my life!

I have seen Dr. Erin Wilderman for tooth pain and she was fantastic! She’s incredibly smart, welcoming and helped me out a ton. My kids have had check ups with her and they loved going which speaks volumes in itself. Highly recommend this dentist!

I have had a cleaning and some fillings done they were great from reception hygienist dentist dental assistant to cashier. All very helpful and painless.

Amazing experience! Everything was explained by Dr Cocoa in great detail which I really appreciated. He was very gentle and so was the hygienist. I will definitely return for further care. Way to go guys!

Always an amazing experience here. Dr. Jones and his assistants are very thorough. They’re fast. Efficient. And listen to concerns. Each time I go, I get more and more comfortable! If it’s your first time, or have a bit of anxiety, this is the place to go, they’ll take care of you.:)

My experience started off well and felt taken care of however, that changed quickly. This dental clinic has become something about pushing revenue and making money instead of offering care as priority. I started going in 2018 and here i am fixing every last tooth touched by Dr. Jones. Rude receptionist and all in all a very unprofessional dental clinic.

Horrible experience last time I went here.

Hygienist and dentist were way too busy. My cleaning was very rushed, the dentist only spent 5 minutes on me and barely looked at my x-rays.

Things weren't explained very clearly and my concerns weren't addressed.

My x-rays all had to be redone because of the hygienist trying to hurry through my appointment.

They split my cleaning into 2 30-minute appointments on different days instead of the 1-hour appointment I expected to have.

They billed my insurance for full cleaning, dental exam and x-rays after the first 30-minute appointment even though they hadn't done most of that work yet, so I had no choice but to return.

Just a very unpleasant experience all around and I probably won't go back unfortunately. Their receptionists are really nice though.

I had an appointment at this clinic today and met a very pleasant dentist. I would like to thank Dr. Erin Wilderman for the experience. I would recommend Dr Wilderman to anyone looking for a new dentist.

The dental office called a day prior to the apointment was told 2300$ or so for root canel so no go on that, wrote a review here and someone reach out from the dental office about contacting them and i did and dalyce got everything sorted out.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. Every single staff member I have dealt with gave been friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They let you know that your comfort and concerns matter to them. Never thought I would enjoy going to the dentist so much. I would recommend this dental company to anybody without hesitation.

WORST LADY ON THE PHONE EVER, i was booking appointment for my wisdom teeth removed, i asked her if she can send a reminder for me. She said yes. On the appointment day, i received appointment reminder 1 hour (7: 40) before my appointment at 8: 40, i was still sleeping at that time and i don't know what is the for my appointment. She called me to ask whether im coming or not, when she heard that im still at home. She HUNG UP on me. I know that is my fault for not coming, so i called again to book another appointment, when she hear my voice, she HUNG UP ON ME THE SECOND TIME. Tbh, i will never come to this place ever again. HUNG UP 2 TIMES on customer is not how treat them.

When I first went into this dentist office they asked me for a credit card which I don’t have so I told them that sherry said that they would go ahead the appointment that day and she would talk to the office manager so I went in for my appointment today and same thing they wanted me to update my credit card information so again I told them I didn’t have one the receptionist said it was on file that I would bring one in I never said that and again sherry who is very rude said they would do the appointment today but I’ve been informed. I don’t own a credit card I won’t borrow one from someone which they asked me to do and I won’t get one just for them I know two other people who go to this dentist and neither of them have a credit card on file. It’s like your not welcome here unless you have one well news flash not everyone has a credit card. This is such a shame cause I really like the dentist I have been seeing he is amazing and super friendly I don’t want to have to look for a new dentist just because I don’t own a credit card so dumb.

You either hate going to the dentist or you dont.

The people here are amazing. I don't like the dentist office at all due to a handful of traumatic experiences as a kid but these guys are amazing! If I had gone here growing up then my whole outlook on the dentist office would be a much more positive one then it currently is and I probably would be more on top taking care of my teeth.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I have so much anxiety when it comes to dental procedures that I AVOID THEM COMPLETELY! With my wisdom tooth being impacted and severely inflamed I knew that there was no more putting it off and that I would have to "bite the bullet" and just go no matter what! Needless to say, My anxiety level''s were through the roof when I walked through the door. In a few minutes I was in the dentist chair with my nurse assuring me that we will take the process one step at a time and that it will all be over soon. A little bit of numbing gel, a few needles to sedate me and I was fear free. I truly felt like I was in the hands of family. Bravo to each and every employee at this clinic for sticking it through in these tough times. You are so much appreciate!

I have extreme anxiety and fear over going to the dentist but Monterey dental make it easy. The drugs help also.

Very disappointed with service from the front desk today, especially Jen. I usually receive alright service, nothing amazing but fine. Today I did not even receive a “hello” or any form of greeting after the hygienist asked Jen to give me a quote. Jen was very condescending and rude.

I highly recommend this place if you are afraid of the dentist. The entire staff is super supportive, understanding, patient and compassionate. I had to get a tooth extraction and was very nervous, but my dentist Coco was amazing, his voice is very soothing and relaxing. I'm very grateful to have discovered this place, they've all made me feel so much more comfortable.

Not a fan of going to the dentist but it was quick and painless which was nice! Staff was very nice and friendly. I really liked my hygienist and dentist. I will be returning here.

Highly recommend Chris Jones (dentist) and Denim (hygienist). Chris is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Denim is fantastic at cleaning - very gentle and didn't hurt my gums whatsoever.

This is the most professional Dental office in the city. With Staff that really cares about your well being And hats off to Dr Jones as with my experience with him as my Dr he is the best I have ever experienced

I have been a client for a very long time and I would recommend this office. I have never had an issue and you don't have to always follow the recommendations of the professionals because they listen to what your needs are. You always have options.

I love the team here at Monterey Dental. Every interaction is so pleasant that I look forward to coming to my dental appointments.yes you read that right. You also cannot beat the hours of operation - open til 8pm so I don't have to take time off work which is so convenient. My last dentist was only open until 430 Whoever does the hiring here is doing a fine job because every single team member provides an exemplary level of patient care plus they all look like they are having fun which speaks volumes about a work place. I went to Monterey dental after not going to a dentist for 30yrs, due to having a previous bad experience and they did a wonderful job, no anxiety at all and no anxiety meds or gas either. Only giving a 1 star because I cannot choose none. I brought my son to this dentist because of the rave reviews! Well our first visit was good and when I was notified of my son’s annual check up I was more than happy to take him. I consented to an X-ray of my son’s teeth and it did not work out and half of the mouth was readable, no results were discussed with me and then the dentist came in to pick at my son’s teeth for 2 minutes again no results being discussed and the dentist jumped up and said have a good night. Good thing I have coverage of 80% or I would of been paying $250.00 for nothing! When I asked about it the receptionist at the front said well we got his right side. So discouraging what did I just pay for? We will not be back!

Very nice dental facility! Dr Young is the best very experienced, professional and quick. I never fear coming to this dentist! They have excellent hygienists that really know how to clean your teeth without banging around!

The entire staff have a dynamic that I have not experienced anywhere else to date. The Dental assistants are on the ball and have everything available as the doctor needs them. Every doctor is extremely knowledgeable and has absolutely no problem stopping for a few moments to help calm any concerns you may have. I have told all of my friends and family to use Monterey Dental for thier oral needs. The Denturist that works with them is very nice and has no problem fixing your dentures until they fit properly

Very kind, patient, friendly, and professional staff. My family has been coming here for the last few years and have always had a pleasant experience. Even when my husband had to return several times for the same issue, the staff were very helpful, genuinely wanted to resolve the issue and at no additional charge. I appreciate the email reminders and also the play area for kids and the free beverages! A bit more expensive than other dental offices I believe but they have direct billing so that helps a million!

Dr Jones is a great dentist, and the whole team is super inviting and friendly! The dentist has always made me anxious, but the Monterey team makes it so much easier!
