I have always found the clinic staff and vets to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. They are great with my pets. I also have found the cost of services to be reasonable.

By far the best vets office we have gone to. Everyone was so welcoming, it was all around a great experience for us and for our puppy.

I always feel very welcome as a fur baby parent and I know that Lucy is always well cared for by all the staff, even if she is in Frenchie scream mode. Thank you for all you do!

The staff was very caring and responsive. Did what they could to work with budget. They were all very good with my large anxious dog.

I am currently riding the expected void, guilt and sadness that are a natural part of grief. However, because of this at-home veterinary service and support of the kind and modern thinking veterinarian, Dr Jazmeen Suleman, I do not have to carry any images of violence or struggle or my dog being alone in the last moments of her life. Because of this service, my mostly blind and, by then, very weak dog could be secure at home. She had a nice walk in the summer sun with her life-long dog and people companions before dying instead of a stressful car ride and scary and confusing vet office. She was surrounded by friends and love. It wasn't a happy day, but until a dog can communicate its dying wishes with us, it was as smooth as these things get.

I originally chose Dekens Housecall /Montgomery Village Clinic because it was the fastest housecall appointment I was able to get in Calgary. I stayed with them because I was lucky to have Dr. Jazmeen as the veterinarian. Dr. Jazmeen is a calm, non-judgmental and adaptable veterinarian that helped me naviagate the difficult end of life months in a way that was suited to my dog and my situation. She focused on helping my dog do what she loved and listened to my thoughts that pain pills that cause stomach upset or sedate my dog were counter to life.

Dr. Jazmeen was able to see me for a couple of at-home assessments over 6 weeks to take the time to counsel me and check on how my dog (and me) were managing while I was exhausted and wracked with guilt. The appointments were not rushed and she answered a lot of questions that helped me and my dog. She trusted me when I said what medications did and did not work for my dog. I felt heard and my dog improved on eating and drinking for while so we could have some great days where my struggling dog was able to have enough energy to run a bit and sleep comfortably after. It was a comfort to me that my dog was able to come to life and momentarily experience pure freedom and joy of movement. I cherish those bounces and happy sounds of her breath. Seeing her head up, tail up, and little paws reaching forward at the same time to spring into a run in the cool spring evening was something I had not seen in a long time.

I was lucky that Dr. Jazmeen was able to come to my home the same day when it became urgent so my dog's death was timed in a way that was not too early or too late. Dr. Jazmeen and her lovely assistant were gentle and supportive of me and my dog in what is not an easy moment for anyone. After, I kept my dogs body and let my other dog (who has had her with him all his life) to see and process. And for her to lie there and feel her people talking while her brain signals faded. She was never alone. I am grateful to have had time with her body so my brain could see she wasn't moving or breathing or about to open her eyes and struggle to get up. For me to process in a slow, natural, peaceful way. Thank you. Dr. Jazmeen.

Great team, my dog is always happy to get here and the processes are centered around the animal. For example, vets getting down on their knees to the level of the dog rather than putting a dog on a metal table.

Montgomery Village Veterinary Clinic is an excellent clinic. I highly recommend Dr. Susie Nadeau for Traditional Chinese Medicine (“TCM”) and regular western veterinary treatments. She has especially helped one of my dogs with TCM acupuncture and herbal treatments for his hypothyroid, allergies and, most recently, diabetes and pancreatitis. I also highly recommend Dr. Suleman, who did a surgery on one of my dogs to remove a mast cell tumour and a lipoma and has seen a few of my animals for treatments. Both vets have excellent knowledge, skills and insight and care about my animals. The vet techs and assistants are also great and caring towards my animals. I highly recommend this clinic.

They are accommodating to each situation that arises.
I’ve had good experiences with them, I would recommend them.

Dr. Kim, is such a great vet who truly has integrity, empathy, and after negative experiences with other vets, I am so grateful to have found this vet amd everyone in the clinic I have met who worked with her has been top notch.

Was totally taken advantage of! Apparently blood in feces with rotten teeth on a 14 year old cat is not enough reason to have him euthanized without expensive and useless blood tests my experience here was not only traumatizing but utterly disheartening all they want is your money and have no sense of the word Humane you sent me away with a sick and in pain friend. I will never forget this and have filed a complaint with the alberta vet association you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

They always take new patients so they’re always overly booked. Every time I had an issue they said to bring my pet to a vet hospital. Taking my dog elsewhere.

Home visits by vet are the best for my cats as they hate travel. Makes the annual checkup so much easier, for both the pet and me

I am not happy with this vet clinic at all. They were our vet for almost 2 yrs and when you need them bcs your dog is sick, they arent available. They wont take 10min to see your pet when is needed. Why have a vet if they cant see your pet when you need them 5-10min quick appointment can be squeezed in. Find another clinic.

I have been coming to Montgomery clinic since last September. It was very important for me to find care with a vet & clinic that its both professional & welcoming & be respectful, supportive of my choice to feed my dog a raw diet and not to try to convince me otherwise.
Dr. Susie has been amazing helping me with my pup Obi from nutrition advice and for her supportive care with his anxiety. She is extremely helpful and always willing to take the time to address any of my concerns when time allows.
All the staff at Montgomery are awesome, they have always made me feel so welcomed & have been very supportive of my weekly visits over these last 5 months to the clinic for Obi’s socialization. When I first started taking Obi to the clinic he was very scared and wouldn’t go to any of the team members, but its all paid off!
Today he was neutered, and he was calm & relaxed when I left him. It was a great feeling knowing he was in good hands, and that he wasn’t over anxious about me not being there. I can’t thank the medical & support team enough, they really went out of their way making Obi feel safe & very comfortable in their care. Which equals no stress for him & for myself. All the TLC he received today was priceless! So a big thank you to everyone! Your kindness has meant the world to me

Always quick to accommodate when we need them. Great staff and vets, super clean and bright office. Would (and have) recommend to anyone with a pet!

First time guest. I probably my new puppy (12wks) in for his 2nd round of shots, and the staff was delightful. In addiction to explaining both vaccines, dewormer and future neutering, they also provided a "puppy gift bag", with pamphlets of useful tips for new dog owners, as well as a few modest toys for Spot.

I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. The staff is wonderful! The receptionists are so kind and understanding, the nurses, vets everyone is just amazing to deal with. We haven’t had the pleasure of using Dr Dekens yet but when our boy was sick and he wasn’t available Dr Jazmeen was amazing with our boy. He had dental surgery today and doesn’t do well outside of our home, they were so understanding and patient dealing with our aggressive boy. He can be a lot to handle and everything went so much better than we expected. We have had very unpleasant experiences at past clinics. Highly recommend them as your veterinary clinic, we are so grateful we found them!
