I had a great experience here! The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient with my time. The suit I had tailored here fits well at a decent price. I plan on going here again.

Went in today just for a tie and this was my first time at this location. I did see a tie for $44 but I know so little about them. The female staff member was taking care of the only other customer in the store, the male member was just in the back. I browsed ties (cha ching). Finally the man walked over and I spoke to him but I felt he was more interested in doing something else. He answered a few questions but was gone like the wind. No I don't expect to be swooned over like royalty just for a tie but I sure the heck didn't feel welcome there either! Won't waste my time again.

I entered this store to pick up, size, and pay for a suit as part of my friends wedding, and was told from the Group code I provided that '"this is an old deal that must've been negotiated elsewhere" and "was not going to be honored at their store"

I was confused so called my friend and he explained the situation politely to the staff but still ended up over charging me almost $100 because "we don't have the pants but the other store in town does so go there instead and they will refund you the difference. " Well, as this appeared to me, THIS store will then profit from another who is essentially forced into giving me their pants and refunding my money. Are these stores independently owned and competing against one another? Why am I as a customer being dragged thru this ordeal, being told this deal is too good to be honored at HIS store? Should the fact that my friend signed up for *10* of us to get a suit play a role here? Why are you blaming the end user like its somehow our fault for getting sized and paying for our suits? Based on this experience alone, I will likely never step foot in a Moores again.

That's of course not where the story ends, as I called this store around noon or so asking if they also had the set of shoes available (this store is just most conveniently situated for me but on reflection, I should've gone elsewhere). I show up around 7pm and the store has around 6 customers in the entire store. I wait patiently in line and request for a shoe rental to which I'm told I need an appointment and "we need to take several measurements to be able to rent these shoes. " When I said "this is just for the shoe rental, it wont take long" the clerk responded with "its not just a shoe rental, we are short staffed right now and we can't size you, you need to make an appointment. " Again the horrible customer service experienced here will be more of a reason to never return.

Thankfully I visited my 3rd Moores store (on this unneeded journey across the city) and was assisted and paid within 5 minutes. Without an appointment, imagine that.

Take your money and wedding party preparations elsewhere where customer service is prioritized.

May 7th, 2023 Stopped in to pick up a couple of shirts, couple of pairs of pants & some socks. I was greeted by Harman, a very nice young lady with a great attitude.
Explained what I was looking for and also that I don't know how to pick multiple garments that go together until I try them on and see what they look like on me.
Harman gave me a shirt and pair of pants to try to get the correct sizing, once that was decided she went to work and had one of the large tables covered in clothes.
I left the store that day with 6 shirts, 4 pairs of pants, 9 pairs of socks, a belt, a pair of shoes & a suite jacket! Great day of shopping for me. Thank you Harman.

They don't make white collar button down shirts anymore. That's really weird.
Helpful staff though. No issues with the people that work there.

Mr. Ben is very helpful & has thorough knowledge of wide range of selection and aesthetics. Great staff, superb range, versatile selection. Wonderful experience for formal wear shopping.

Came into this Moores location looking for tuxedo rentals for a future wedding. An older gentleman approached asking what he could help with. Told him I was looking for rentals, he led me to this poster detailing tuxedo rentals. He quickly explained a couple of things and immediately left and clearly had something else better to do than to service me. Couldn't ask any questions and no one else in the store seemed to really care to help either. Zero customer service. Go book an appointment at the Bridal Centre nearby, you'll get a 1000% better experience.

My husband rented wedding suit from this location for his sister's wedding which is happening on Sunday. When he did fitting earlier, it worked out very well but when he went back yesterday to pick up the rental, the pants was much baggier and it was totally different from the ones that he tried on during fitting. He told the sales person it looked too baggy on him and the sales person told him it was too late to do anything about it and that is how rental suits are. However, during fitting my husband was told emergency adjustments could be done since he was going to pick up on the 22nd (in fact he picked up on the 21st). Now my husband feels so embarrassed to wear these to the wedding because these pants literally make him look 30lbs bigger and they make him looks so unpresentable. There is no way he will wear these to the wedding so now he will have to buy another pair some where else not to mention he is almost running out of time. Stay away from this place at all cost!

Worst customer service I’ve ever gotten shopping for clothing. This shop judges you based on what you wear going in. Last time I was here in a suit and I was treated very well I left with 10 suits. This time I went in a T-shirt and sweat pants and was shunned off. 3 times we asked the incompetent sales rep questions and not once did he walk over from behind his desk in a completely empty store to try and help in anyway. I once again asked him a question and he gave me an attitude. I walked out and will spend my money else where. Don’t waste your time at this shop.

My husband had a very bad experience with Michael who is an assistant manager. My husband was calling him to open the change room as it was locked a few times totally ignoring him when my husband called out and said i am talking to you he said so and would not help. What kind of customer service was this. We will never shop there and if you are looking for one on one or any kind of service i would recommend to spend your money where customer service comes first. Without us they would have no jobs, He was so ignorant and rude and does not deserve to be an asst manager very disappointed. Stay Away The only reason i gave 1 star was it would not let me continue to write this review deserves 0 star.

Staff is good at getting you into well fitting clothes, state your budget early and they should be able to accommodate, can be expensive tho, classic

The staff was rude. One woman in particular was too busy standing around looking stupid to help anyone. I asked about a jacket all I got was we don't gave it. Nothing else. I asked if she could check her other stores.no we don't fo that. What the hell do you do there. God knows you don't work

We are still exploring Calgary as we only moved to Alberta last year. After visiting a number of places we found this particular Moore's location to provide exceptional service. All the staff are overly helpful. We personally deal with Michael and he always gives great advice.

I would avoid this specific location if possible. This was my fiancé and I first time at a moores looking for suits for our wedding day and it wasn’t a good experience. I don’t normally write reviews but honestly, I just want to save someone else the trouble. We went in to this location twice (thinking we’d give it a second chance). Customer service really needs extreme improvement & care after being ignored the first time and having very little of our questions answered about we left frustrated and confused.

We came into Moore’s for a suit rental for my fiancé for our wedding. From start to finish it was such an incredible experience! They were so helpful & accommodating. We had a pretty tight timeline & they made it happen. We even got to pick it up earlier than expected & they were super flexible with our drop off date as we were getting married out of town.

I highly suggest this location if you’re needing a great suit or tux. Fantastic service & we will always be using them for any event. Thanks so much again!

I have been shopping at Moores for years but not anymore. My visit started well, the young woman assisting me was friendly and helpful. I tried on 3 suits and has selected one for purchase. I said to my sales woman I would take it but I quickly wanted to check out the clearance items first. While I was looking at a shirt a different sales person came over to me and said “We are closing and we all have things to do, so you are going to have to finish up now”. In shock I looked at my watch and it was 6: 00pm, the time they were closing. I then granted his wish and left without completing my purchase. I am done with Moores.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have difficulties standing at the moment but I was sat comfortably in a chair while the young lady brought items to me and made great suggestions. Top notch!
