This Store is extremely accommodating they came in and saved the day when all else seemed lost would highly recommend to anyone who works all week and can’t just take a day off during the week

Polite and welcoming staff. Inventory for winter coats were surprisingly small given its winter season. This particular location is smaller than many of the ones I encountered in Ontario.

I was looking for a shoe that was not available at Edmonton locations. I called Moores Red Deer location and spoke to Braiden who provided me excellent customer services. We had a terrible experience at moors in red deer for our wedding! My husband and his groomsmen went in and picked out their suits, a week before our wedding when we went in to pick them up they ordered the wrong vests, the staff did a reorder for the whole wedding party and while my husband was changing I was standing to the side of the desk and the staff that was placing the re order was talking to another girl and rolled her eyes and said in a very rude tone that she had to do a reorder for an entire wedding party so she was going to be busy for awhile. The Thursday before the wedding the new vests came in and they were still not what we ordered but at that point there was no time to make any changes! My dad also ordered his suit from the same store and called multiple times the week before asking if it was in yet, a couple days before the wedding he found out they never even placed an order for his suit and had to do all new measurements, he finally got his suit the day before the wedding at 11 and which made him late getting to our venue for rehearsal. Never going to moors again and will not be recommending for any of our friends and family!

After an awful experience at tip top tailors I walked into moores and was given the full suit fitting experience one would expect! The store manager (Mariana) was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. The suit was a rush, hemming and shirts needed to be ordered and they pulled thru before expected. Highly highly recommend this outlet!

Went in today totally unprepared. Didn’t have my group #, and my bro who’s getting married must of been drunk when he signed up because he spelt my name way wrong. On top of being super busy Marie? Or Bri postponed her break to get me in and the mess sorted out. She was super quick and efficient, taking only 25 mins to get me sized up and paid up. Her help was tremendously appreciated today.

I went in bright and early to find my soon to be husband a pair of black dress pants. There wasn't too much to choose from but we were able to find something he liked.
He needed them altered and for that day and for 1-2hrs later max. Everyone was helpful & they even altered it for us with short time notice. Everything was affordable and looks like good quality. No complaints. Super thankful for your great service to us, we would return again.

I went in the store to purchase a winter coat and was greeted immediately by Nathan (Assistant Mgr) He was very professional & helpful. He gave me the best recommendation for my coat. He went above and beyond. Very happy with my experience & I will definitely be back.

Had service from a younger guy, from start to finish nothing short of amazing. I looked great, I was comfortable, and he even helped look for a lost ring in my rental (it made it's way back to the box somehow) will definitely be buying my men's wear from this location in the future. I'm really sorry I forget the young man's name but he was GREAT.

DO NOT RENT SUITS FROM MOORES!

I would seriously give this zero stars if I could. We ordered suits from Moores for our wedding which finally occured this past weekend. COVID caused several changes in our wedding and Moores was not understanding or cooperative.

Firstly, we didn't want our groomsmen to pay for our suits. We asked Moores to charge us and this seemed extremely difficult for them to understand. There was only 3 suit rentals so it's not like it was a massive order they had to manage. They ended up charging both of our groomsmen which we then had to get refunded to various different cards (which proved extremely challenging) because of the second problem we had with Moores

Second problem! We originally were getting married June 2020, but had to reschedule twice due to lock downs with COVID. The first time we rescheduled to August 2020, Moores was able to make the required changes. However, the province went into full lock down after that and we reschedule to August 2021. We called Moores multiple times and left messages but never heard back. We even sent mutliple emails to try and get in touch with them regarding rescheduling our wedding to August 2021. We hadn't heard anything from them until the week before our second wedding date where the informed us that our suits were in. We explained the situation and they stated they wanted to charge us as the suits had arrive regardless of whether we were picking them up. We fought this and ended up only losing a deposit. We had to repay our deposit. Not the end of the world, but better than having to pay the full $600 rental.

Third problem! Sizing! Before we get into the major problem of sixing, they did not send the ties that we ordered (I have pictures of what we ordered and they do not match) and provided us with tacky clip on ties which should never be used in formal wear. Regarding sizing, we had of our groomsmen and my groom go in get re-measured in June of 2021 because we knew sizes would have changed in a year. NONE OF THE MEASUREMENTS GOT PUT IN! Not a single correction to the suits were made so all of the suits came in wrong. We went to pick up our suits the sunday before the wedding and none of them fit 100% correctly. Our groomsmen were manageable, but my groom's suit was absolutely massive! It looked like he was a 12 year old wearing his dad's suit. Totally not manageable and looked absolutely awful. They tried to blame us saying we should have got remeasured about a month before the wedding (which we did do and had proof to show that we did). They remeasured and resent in his suit. Come Wednesday, the second attempt was in. It was still too big, but at this point, we didn't have time to re-order another suit so we brought the suit home in hopes to salvage something of it. Moores did compensate us with a free suit rental, but it was for a suit that was still unuseable. My husband ended up wearing a suit that he had in his closet that didn't match the groomsmen, because we had no other option. He ended up using the suspenders, socks, and dress shirt from the rental, but nothing else actually fit him to be useable for the wedding. So we has a miss-matched bridal party.

It's one thing if it is just a suit rental; It's another thing when it is a Groom's suit rental. What if we were having a destination wedding or eloping? We wouldn't have had a suit. It was a lot of undue stress because Moores was unaccessible, uncooperative, and frankly unprofessional (Don't blame customers! It doesn't look good). We have bought a lot of products from Moores because of the industry my Husband works in, but we will not go back after this whole ordeal. The absolute worst experience I've had (and we had to move a lot of vendors with our COVID reschedules).

We had a terrible experience with Moores Red Deer. I highly recommend not going to Moores and rather going to Milano, tiptop or any other suit place. They messed up a custom suit and groomsman shirts. In November, I ordered a suit for my wedding in July. It arrived in a timely manner and I was told to return shortly before the wedding to get it tailored. When I returned to get the suit tailored, they realized that they had ordered my suit 6 sizes too large. They said that they could alter it, but that that much alterations would look terrible. They re-ordered my suit. I later called about another issue and found out that my suit wouldn't be done in time for the wedding (which they originally told me it would). They did not have the courtesy to call and tell me that it would not have been ready, I just happened to ask. I got a new suit (from elsewhere) and now it doesn't match my groomsmen's pants that we got from Moores. I asked for a refund for the suit and was told it would come in 7-10 business days. 1 month later, it still hasn't arrived and several calls to the store hasn't changed anything. The groomsmen had shirts measured and ordered by Moores and they also don't fit. We now have a wedding in 10 days and have no groomsmen shirts, we are out $600 on a suit we don't have and we haven't received a single apology.

Had a great experience at this location when ordering custom suits for my wedding a few years ago, the best thing was that my brother lives in a different city and could go to the local Moores there and order the exact same custom suit instead of having to travel to Red Deer to do it. Will definetly be back to buy more clothes, great service and friendly staff.

Was not allowed to enter the Red Deer store without a mask. I asked what if I had a medical condition? The employee said does not matter. It’s store policy. Firstly, it is not legal to make someone to wear a mask. Especially if they have a medical condition. Health Canada recommends that you only wear one if you are sick and have to leave home. Otherwise they don’t want you wearing one. There are lots of places to buy clothing. Moore’s needs to do some research into the matter. They lost a customer.

Went in for some Dockers and the young guy, while perfectly friendly, hovered. I was literally the only customer in the store and he followed me around just standing 5 ft away from me the entire time, staring at me. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I didn’t end up buying anything because I felt like I just needed to get out of there. I told him I would look around and let him know if I needed help but he just continued to stare and follow. No space given whatsoever

I came to write a review specifically for Yvonne, I browsed a few reviews and wouldn't you know it.she has a ton stating exactly what I was going to. Looks like I wasn't the exception to her customer service. She goes all out of every customer it seems. Good for you Yvonne. You're an absolute rockstar at what you do and when I need a few more suits you're my new go to.

Excellent service, I ended up saving almost HALF the total cost because I happened to walk into a sale they were having which I guess happens at least once or twice per season. I'll be back in January to take advantage of their post Christmas sales!

My boyfriend and I are heading to a wedding this weekend and stopped to get a sport jacket. Yvonne helped us pick out a suit and pants for a great deal. She represents everything costumer service should be. She went out of her way to show us how to match a tie which was so helpful because I really had no idea how to do that. I highly recommend going to this moors and asking for Yvonne to help you she was an absolute Gem to meet!

Here’s some of the issues:
- Made an appointment for a custom suit. Waited 30 minutes for someone to help me, and 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me waiting at the front desk.
- Suit itself was ok once done, but I ALWAYS had to call to see when the suit, and each time for alterations was done. Nobody ever contacted me.
- Name tag inside the suit was spelled wrong. Asked for it to be replaced with the correct spelling. It took me TWO more months and 3 separate visits, phone calls with 3 different staff and the manager before the order was put through.

I’d list more issues, but I’ve reached the character limit for a post.

Never coming back here again. Never recommending it to anybody I know. Thanks for the memories.

This review is a couple months late. I had the best experience ever buying a suit, Yvonne is the best and only lady you should talk to if you need a suit
She has an amazing ability to know what works for a person as far as colors and style. I assumed that Yvonne was the manager. I was shocked to find out the not so happy lady was. I think a change should take place, Yvonne is a better choice for management of this store. When I picked up my suit it was perfect.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Yvonne and having her guide me in a new suit, dress coat and high quality shirts purchase. Right from the beginning Yvonne took time to figure out what I was looking for and promptly and professionally made suggestions that ultimately lead to several purchased items that I am proud to wear. 5 stars simply for the service. I went in not having a clue what kind of shirt to buy for my wedding, but was helped out a lot by the staff. Some of the prices are a little high, but if the shirt I bought lasts for a while, I'll be happy. Thank you for your help!

I have now purchased 5 custom suits here. The staff is fantastic. Today Yvonne knocked it out of the park helping me coordinate shirts, ties and accessories into the perfect stunning combo. She loves her job and it shows in her work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thanks for everything.

We had our wedding this past weekend, and went into pick up the rented suits, my Husbands was 2 inches too short and there was a big stain mark on his arm, he was the groom and his was the only one with problems. We then go told there wasn't anything they could do and that's rentals for you. I went in later to pick up another rented suit and was told if i were in earlier they could've got one in on time. So not only was I already in earlier it was now way too late to order one in. Went in the next morning to pick up after they altered his pants and were able to order one to the Calgary store which i had to find someone to stop into Calgary the morning of our wedding. Horrible customer service every time I have gone in.

Worst experience of my life.
1. They put the wrong wedding date in the file. Luckily, one of the groomsmen caught it during his first fitting
2. During groom's 2nd fitting, despite having an appointment we were left waiting in the store and ignored for an hour. Other groomsmen waited 2 hours for service at their fittings.
3. During fitting one of their staff insulted a groomsman's figure.
4. When we returned for 2nd fitting we found out they had the completely wrong colours for the vests and ties on file from what we had originally picked. We had to reselect the correct options.
5. When suits came in 2 days before wedding, sizes were all wrong. Grooms pants were two sizes too big, other groomsmen's pants and vests were too small. Only 1 of the 7 guys had the right size. Several items had to be reordered less than 48 hours before wedding.
6. Icing on the cake was that one groomsman was given wrong colour vest which we didnt realize untill morning of wedding when it was too late. This was despite already fixing this very error weeks prior.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Although I somehow ended up with a tuxedo jacket that was a size too small, the staff here were really nice and did everything they could to expedite the fix. They got me suited for the wedding and all was great! Thank you lady-in-red?

I've been here three times now in the last month; each time was fantastic. We were initially helped by Zachary who was very knowledgeable and quickly and effectively answered all of my questions. He helped my dad find the perfect suit and was not pushy or rushed. He spent as much time and energy needed to make sure everything came out perfectly. The manager was also very helpful the second time we were there. She was busy with several other people but apologized profusely each time she was pulled away and did her absolute best to balance everyone. Emilee helped us just today with groomsmen outfits and again had great patience with my neurotic questions and was very friendly and helpful. This place is more expensive than most other suiting places in Red Deer, but after having gone to almost all others today, I see why. The level of professionalism and knowledge these people have is far above any of the other stores. There also are definitely some more affordable options available here, especially if you're renting. I can't recommend this place enough, and will be returning the next time a man in my life needs a suit!

I'm a regular client in this store, on June 2nd I bought a suit and guess what? This unprofessional service provider Evonne didn't charge me the pants only to realize after going through my receipt while at home. I came back a week later to make the payments through Charles. When I visited the store today (June 11) Evonne was so rude and disrespectful to me. She even went ahead accusing me of "smelling". She raised her voice to me! She is immoral with no integrity! She needs to be trained on work ethics! She is a racist! She has zero multicultural awareness skills. I won't recommend anyone to her. She was so rude to me.

Why keep this one rude, inexperienced staff in this beautiful store to bring down your business? If she never charged me my pants, how much loss has she brought to this store? How many customers has walked out that door with unpaid clothes?

Thanks to the manager who listened to me. She is professional. Thumbs up to Charles, Zack and other brilliant staffs.

The worst store I have visited in my entire life. The manager didn't know a damn thing when it came to doing a rental order for my wedding. Found someone that knew what they were talking about got everything settled. Got the order in and the vest was 4 sizes too small. How does that even happen. Then she said that it's my fault because I was working and couldn't come in to make sure everything worked until the day before the wedding. Then she said I would have to drive to Calgary for her mistake. Completely unprofessional and a joke of a store. Will never ever set foot in this store again.

The suit itself looked great and clean. The staff were nice and accomadating. The issues are the price of renting a tux. I used to pay around $120-150 and this time it was $270. I was quite surprised at how costly it was to rent a three piece suit with shoes. They also messed up on the ties. They ordered all the groomsmen bow ties instead of neckties. So two days before the wedding we had to rush in the right ones. Quite stressful for the bride and groom for sure.
