I was a little bit intimidated going into this store as I am not a huge car guy. I was helped by Fino who was pleasant and very competent. Although I did not get all the right stuff on the first or second trip I did get what I needed.

As many other people noted getting money on a gift card sucks. I was warned in advance and I accepted this.

Overall a very cool place for a niche market of people.

Bill and Dave have treated me great over the years. Knowledgeable and have some of the best inventory. Thanks for all the help over the years to the whole Mopac team!

So I’m giving 2 stars because the pricing and products are good. The guys that work there are also good. It would appear something has recently changed with their business plan. I have been going there for many years and really enjoyed talking to the knowledgeable guys that would offer their expertise and experience to help you. Bill was a always an amazing help and was the most knowledgeable person I have ever talked to regarding my SBC, seriously amazing! Now the staff has all recently changed and it appears to be a place that just wants to be order takers and not solution providers.

Here is a nickels worth of free advice Mopac. With the online giants like Amazon and summit, etc growing at an alarming rate. Solution providers like Bill had really set you apart from the online superstores and I hope to see that people like him are valued and supported. I am a firm believer of supporting local and really appreciate the ability to grab parts in stock, however if your model is going toward order takers, then I’m afraid you will lose that race very quickly.

I purchased a starter for my car, the parts expert who sold me the part said it would fit. Turns out it doesn’t. Try to get a refund and denied, In store credit only. Now I understand if I bought the wrong part and tried to return and was only given a credit well that would be my fault. But when you trust that a shop sells you the right part and they don’t and then won’t help you is just poor service. Strongly advise shopping elsewhere

Return policy is terrible. Once they have your money, they only issue in store credit or exchange.

I went there looking for parts which I expected to have to pay too much for. Long story short, I came out after having to only spend half the money I was going to have to pay online.i also obtained a lot of great advice from very knowledgeable employees. I will always go here for my performance parts from now on and would recommend mopac to all.

Always a great experience there, always great selection, and a great place to meet those with motor oil for blood with a car crazy crowd. Great pricing as well

I’ve been dealing with Mopac for over a decade. I get amazing customer service and pricing that is cheaper than online, and they usually have parts in stock, so I don’t need to wait for parts to be shipped.

My purchases have slowed, but they remember me by name, and always greet me even if I am not being helped by that particular sales rep.

My last few visits I can give a few notes:
-I needed a battery box for my 240sx. I gave a part number and they had it in stock. I came by to pick it up and Bill advised me to try another part # which would suit my needs better (smaller, so easier to fit, and cost less) which *surprise surprise* they also had in stock.
-I needed a catalytic converter and a resonator to quiet my BMW. I sent a part number and Frank was able to get me a better part which was in stock so I didn’t need to wait for a stock order, and it would suit my needs better.

The knowledge, advice, and customer service from both Bill and Frank are top notch.

Tried to return an item that Wasn't needed because we went a different direction. Item was overpriced to begin with. I was told they only give in store credit…I said I didn’t need anything else, they didn’t try to help me out after that.

Frank is awesome. Came in with my buddy and this guy helped us so much, answered all the questions with so much knowledge. And got us pricing that was significantly better then competitors

Paid cash in August for a part order to be shipped within 2-3 months and got nothing. Zero refund on a $4600 part that never shipped

Products are decent though the customer service is impatient, unwilling to help, and talk down to the customer. Would recommend going elsewhere as dealing with the people will put a damper on anyones day.

I never shop here unless I have to. They never have enough staff to answer the phone or help u in store. And when u do talk to them they talk down to u and are completely disrespectful.

Mopac has exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff, great selection, and good prices. I'm rebuilding a big block V8 and they have been very helpful.

If you cant find your car parts at Mopac then they probably dont exist. Pricing usually comparable with online

I forgot my tools and they were awesome and let me borrow there's. Ordered new air cleaner and pricing was good.

There truly is a difference between the other auto parts stores and Mopac. Mopac always goes beyond to ensure my experience and their quality of service is what matters - and they always find the parts. They've been a big part of of my rebuild, wouldn't have done it with anyone else - thanks Frank!

Cant say enough about Frank who spent over three hours running part numbers and helping me sort through the mirrage of parts I needed. Thanks again for your exceptional service.

Really experienced and knowledgeable staff for engine performance. The times I was there it was super busy but they still made time for me and the questions I had

One particular employee must not like his job. Swearing under his breath and muttering to himself isn't professional. We came in knowing what we wanted with part numbers and the funds to purchase the parts. After receiving the service we did, we left. Looking up stock shouldnt be difficult. Why it displeases you to do your job shows me you should find a more pleasurable job and I'll purchase my parts elsewhere.

Been there many time to buy the part. Most of the people are very nice and friendly to you. Only until you tell them you want to find the tuning part for Camry, they will say sorry buddy we have nothing for you. Because They only sell all the part to the race car for their tuning part. If you tell them you want to tuning a sport sedan that are not race car. They will laugh at you and tell you to go somewhere else.

Would highly recommend this place for any Auto Parts on two separate occasions I phoned in about 20 minutes before close looking for a set of wheel spacers which they had both in stock and Dustin put both of them aside for me on the front counter and have them all ready for when I walked in.both times! But unfortunately the second set I bought malfunctioned and the wheels came loose and chewed the threads I lost the receipt and I phoned in and a guy named Bill said yeah come on down I'd be happy to exchange the set for you so I walked in Dustin recognized me and they exchanged wheel spacers within 5 minutes and send me on my way no questions asked! Super happy with them they definitely made my day and saved me money they easily could have turned me away with no receipt or said it was my own abuse that wrecked the spacer

This was originally a 1 star review after a poor interaction with a staff member here, on top of that he gave me the wrong part.
However the next day when I went to exchange them the next staff member that helped me was very friendly and helpful. Guess it just depends who you get!

Great selection of automotive speed gear, large stock. Fairly priced. Great service and knowledge base. The parts guys here get it.

Mopac is a good place to buy parts for your pride and joy. If they don't have what you want, someone always knows where to send you.

I should’ve believed the techs at work when they said all the bad stuff about Calgary Mopac Unprofessional staff they don’t have enough knowledge of the automobile industry, they gave me the wrong part after wasting my time and all that they gave me gard time to return it,
Tylor and the other Guy they tried to tell me there isn’t a Chevy vehicle with 267 small block,
They said Chevy Vehicles only comes with 350.
It was my first experience with Calgary Mopac and last, i got the right part from a local performance store and way cheaper.
