I enjoyed my stay at this cozy lodge with beautiful views! Definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful place with the perfect view. My family visited a gift shop here in late July, and the staff named Jesus was totally rude. He had a conversation with another white guy guest who finishing checkout but during I checking out, he did not make any eye contact at once. But he was laughing with another guy! No greetings at all until finishing check out! Finally he threw a receipt to me. So uncomfortable experience, and totally sure definitely it was a discrimination. Shame on your name, Jesus!

Loved our stay at this wonderful lodge. Our room faced the water and it was really nice to overlook the lake. Everything about this place is amazing! The people, rooms, decor, and restaurant food 1000%! I hope to return one day and highly recommend to anyone wanting a romantic lodge in the mountains!

Just as screwy as Trudeau Fyi This is a total age discrimination hotel, w no kids allowed absolutely waste of our time to drive there, This place. Four seasons were coming home!

Tolle Aussicht!
Wunderschön gelegen direkt am Lake Moraine. Kanuverleih inklusive. Sehr freundliches und flexibles Personal. Einzig das Zimmer (Lodge Double Room) war abends etwas laut. Man hörte noch lange die Lüftung und die Gäste im Restaurant. Das ist bei den etwas abgelegeneren Zimmern aber vermutlich anders.

This place is unbelievable. I don’t have enough words to describe how incredible the location, the staff the service is. Yes it’s a high price point but if you think about all that you get, it’s so worth it. The canoe rental is included which otherwise costs $130, breakfast, light lunch and tea in the evening are also included. The dinner is amazing here. Also the staff is so friendly and so full of Ideas and tips on what to do in the area. We told them we were celebrating something very special and they had a bottle of champagne and glasses with a hand written note when we got to our room. The food was really really good. I am gluten free and they made extra efforts to make sure that everything was GF and they had lots of food options. Sunrise is amazing and I highly recommend. Staying at the lodge, We didn’t have to fight the crowds for parking and could just casually stroll up to see the sunrise! The public lot has about 150 parking spaces, and the parking lot gets filled up by 4/430 am (so I hear). Luckily starting at the lodge we had to do no crazy such thing.we woke up at 5 and strolled on up. Was awesome! Everyone from the front desk top cleaning crew to serving staff were phenomenal. You can tell that that They really want to be there And love what they do. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Hopefully they have a repeat customer reward/ discount.

Such a beautiful place to see. The mountains were so beautiful and the lake was a beautiful color. If you want to rent a canoe it's $150 for a half hour. If you can afford it go for it and take lots of pictures. A little disappointed that the Cafe restaurant was not open when I was there. The gift shop was nice.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel lived up to its expectation and more. This was by far the favorite place on our honeymoon. We enjoyed a large king room with beautiful views of the lake. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our first night there was an interpretive performance that talked about the local wildlife that was very entertaining and informative. Breakfast both days was delicious, also with excellent views of the lake. Afternoon tea is provided between 3 and 5 PM usually with warm cookies. If you’d like there are also guided hikes starting at 9 AM for the guests. We also went out on the canoes, which are complimentary for the guests. We were also able to do an incredible hike to Larch Valley which I highly recommend to anyone visiting. The views of the 10 peaks are breathtaking. Despite the high price point, for the remote location, the views, the excellent service, I really can’t argue why it’s not worth it. We also visited their sister property Cathedral mountain lodge in Yoho which is also worth a visit!

I didn't stay here. But I visited the lake and Google won't stop asking me to review it, no matter how many times I choose didn't go here. So, here's your review. All 5 stars because why would I hurt the reputation of a place I didn't experience? I'm even going to add pictures of the lake and add enough words to the review to get my 10 bonus points for a lengthy review. I feel like a congressman trying to filibuster. So, now you know I'm not Canadian. I was visiting, the lake, from the US. Would I recommend you stay here? Well, solely based on the pretty lake it sits on and the gorgeous mountains around it, I'd say oh yeah. There. That's the end of my review. Now both Google and I can move on from this awkward relationship.

My family had a wonderful time at Moraine Lake Lodge. The rooms are comfy, the views are incredible, and the staff were warm and friendly.

The best parts: The many great hikes. Our favorite was Larches Valley. The staff had lots of helpful advice about conditions and times. Sunrise was incredible, but plan to get up early. At 4: 30am it was already getting light. Canoeing on the lake, which is free with your stay, is tons of fun.

The worst parts: The area can get quite crowded with tourists streaming in on busses. Avoid the Pile of Rocks area at peak hours and it won't be too bad.

The restaurant was excellent - the food, the service, and the views. It can be a bit slow, but that gives you more time to enjoy the experience.

Coffee and tea in the room was nice, especially on the balcony overlooking the lake in the morning. And the Library, which hosts lunch and tea, is a great place to escape for a quiet moment.

You have to visit this place to believe it. A superb location, stunning views and first class service by all members of the team. The restaurant is fine dining at reasonable prices. Chef Steve produces wonderful creations. Would have loved to stay longer as we could not fault it in any way. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Had a really nice stay here! Beautiful place, nice views, great restaurant. Also did the guided hike with Elliott to Larch valley. It was a bit cloudy, but still worth it.

Beautiful views, clean area.
There is a trail that goes to the viewpoint, do yourself a favor and don't just climb the rocky surface side of the viewpoint.

The blonde lady at the front desk inside the reception office is so incredibly rude. She made snarky and shockingly rude comments to us and *almost* ruined our day, especially considering how every other interaction that we’ve had on our trip has been so pleasant everywhere else. I honestly was shocked after our interaction with her.

We didn't stay here, only visited the gift shop after walking along the beach of this pristine beautiful emerald coloured lake surrounded by mountains.
