Every staff member is welcoming, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Moore took the time to answer all of my questions and handled my dog in an easy professional manner. He explained all of my options and gave me his honest opinion and let me decide without pressure either way. I also felt the fees were reasonable. The reception staff and techs were very helpful and it made my dog's first visit enjoyable. I will be back and would recommend this clinic to dog owners.

Took our dog Loki to get a checkup and updated shots and was absolutely thrilled with the friendliness professionalism and just outright love for animals that they have at this clinic

I took my shitzu here on tue for the first time. I was so pleased with how efficient and caring everyone was. The Vet is awesome and called within 2 hours for belles blood work. Definately will be our choice for belles vet needs!

As I sit here reading reviews in attempts to find a new Vet Clinic, I felt it was necessary to express my concerns of this animal hospital for others who are seeking services.

My dog is my best friend! He has been my biggest support and comfort through many very tragic events this last 5 years of my life. He means the world to me.

Two months ago, after struggling to find out why my boy has been losing so much weight, we found out he has Congestive Heart Failure. I’m crushed. During my visit when we discover this tragic news, I felt that I was not given suggestions and guidance how to treat and care for my boy during his last days. I felt that my advice was simply to “let him go” without attempting to provide quality care so he can enjoy the time has left. I was given two prescriptions which I was greatful for, however, I feel as though the prescription was written just to satisfy me.
It’s been two months now and I have not heard from the Vet Clinic. No follow up call to check on my dogs well being, no call to see how he has responded to the meds… nothing. I’m crushed! I have gotten many follow up calls in the past when my dog has had ear infections etc.haever, I find out that my dog is dying and I the doctor doesn’t feel it’s necessary to follow up with me?

I spend every day focusing on caring for my boy. Two short walks, cooking special food as his appetite comes and goes, making sure his water intake is adequate, timing his meds.every day I evaluate the quality of his life. He still gets excited for his walks and car rides, he still enjoys the backyard with me and he is still full of love. I often wonder if the meds he is on needs to be adjusted as my sister who’s dog has CHF has had her dogs meds adjusted several times this past year to support his appetite etc.

I am dissspopointed with Morinville Vet Clinic as I simply don’t feel confident to return and discuss my dogs condition and meds as I feel there is no athentic compassion or support. I need to know that the animal health care providers care as much as I do about my Dog’s health. I should not rely on asking Google for advice when I pay good money for animal health care services. I should feel confident to turn to my Vet when I need advice.

$100 for 15 minute checkup and to barely look at my dog. Complete rip off.
Also, the vet was pretty rude/dismissive for answering any questions I had.
Gibbons is $69 for a check up and the vet actually looks at the dog thoroughly.

Amazing and super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely made a great choice for a veterinarian team. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose them as your fur baby's vet!

I am so impressed with the entire team - they are all thoughtful, kind, patient and understanding. They treat both my fur baby and I with greatest respect and comfort. The team is exactly what one wants when caring for our furry friends. Thank you all so much!

I've been going here since I got my dog. But took him grooming, and he loved Amber, no worries with that. But when I had picked him up I noticed he was shedding 10 times worse and I had to brush him out for a extra 2 hours after spending 95 dollars. And to boot he was throwing up because of the treats for nights now, hasn't had energy to play for a few days now and can't fully eat his breakfast or dinner. Even now after brushing and getting the deshedding shampoo and conditioner he is still shedding even worse before I brought him in there. Really not happy, the cut was good looking but missed a couple spots still. I know I could have done better with 95 dollars myself. Didnt even rinse him properly, as I brushed him there was so much dead skin and or shampoo still on his skin and in his hair it'd disgusting. If you have a bigger dog, DO NOT COME HERE TO GET THEM GROOMED. Either they don't have enough time or enough people because all together it seemed like he was only brushed by the end of it all

They have gone above and beyond for fitz and to accommodate myself and him they are kind gentle and caring and would recommend them for all their services

My cat was unwell today and needed to be put down. While they seem compassionate on the surface and concerned about the animals pain they insisted I pay for the euthanasia before hand. We agreed and signed the paper working agreeing I would pay and then they allowed him to suffer longer for a monitory transaction. Payment was never an issue, but my poor cat suffered longer than necessary so they got paid. I now question the ethics of this veterinary clinic.

I also asked specifically on the phone before leaving him with them if he would be given iv fluids and pain meds before leaving him with them and they said “he’d be taken care of”. No iv was given until it was time to euthanize him…. So he suffered again? For no reason.

I’d give higher if I could. I’ve used the clinic since I first got my pup 5 years ago, the first couple years have been great. Everyone was super kind and caring both vets and vet techs. Our last two visits have not been good, the vets have both been jumpy around my dog and while yes my dog is antsy, some calmness and time would be wonderful instead of the vet trying to rush through it. The vet techs were amazing as always for us, kind, understanding and wonderful with my dog. The vet this appointment wasn’t so great, we’ve never once seen the same vet twice which would be great with my nervous dog to help him get use to being handled by a stranger. This time around, I felt like I was being talked down to and treated like I didn’t know anything about my dog and all my worries were hardly important. I asked the vet about legumes in dog food and got an answer that there was not much to go on and my worries weren’t valid, but when I reached home and looked up the website to the clinic, there was an entire article written by the clinic about grain free kibble and legumes. The vet tried to rush through the appointment and didn’t take any time to have my dog calm down for his vaccinations and exam. Very unprofessional.

I am happy I did not have to put my animal under the stress of having to undergo a checkup simply to get deworm meds. It worked. She has recovered from the worms. Thank you! Many other vets insisted that I bring her in for a checkup.

Morinville clinic is only looking for your money, in our case they did not display any compassion or care for our cat. We took our cat in for abdominal pain, lethargic and not eating. They charged us $600 for visit and sent us home with morphine and did blood/urine tests. We were told blood work was fine, we told them the cat is still in pain and lethargic and then we were told to reduce the morphine dosage. Our cat was getting worse, we spoke to the tech at 12pm mentioning the cat was staining when in her litter box and we were told the Dr. Would get back to us. We called at 6pm and found the message was not passed to the Dr. We were told the clinic was closed and that we should proceed to an emergency vet. This was over two days, at another vet office the cat was diagnosed with a bowel obstruction and was treated. Too bad our cat had 2 days of pain before going to a clinic that had her diagnosed and treated within an hour.

I wanted to bring my dog in for vaccines and the amount of confusion and unprofessionalism that was felt on the phone made me decide to go elsewhere. I was cut off and kept being put on hold. It was am extremely frustrating situation.
