Morrison Homes have definitely a capable team with a great attitude and client-oriented mindset. The sale agent, interior designers, and warranty technician working on my new home were outstanding. I am very happy with selecting Morrison Homes as a builder.

A little bit of a different review - i was in line for the drive through and the truck infront of me (Morisson Homes) paid for my order - made my day!

Morrison Homes was a pleasure to work with throughout the process of getting our new home. Every single person we interacted with (shout outs to Sarah Dredge, Lindsey Taylor, and Harley Marx, plus the whole Wolf Willow team) were all very professional, extremely helpful and made the process of getting a home so easy and enjoyable. We very rarely felt stressed and even when we had concerns or questions they were answered/resolved in a quick and helpful manner. This was our first experience in home buying and it could have not gone smoother.
The quality of our home is great as well. We LOVE our home. Everything turned out the way we hoped. The few imperfections were addressed in a timely manner or communicated that they will be. The attention to detail shown by the team is really encouraging and we know we are in good hands.

I was with my wife and was surprised by the racist behaviour by Morrison Homes rep. Will stay away from the builder just for that reason. I bet they only want to sell to one type of people and also have no diversity in their own team.

Buyer beware of Morrison Homes Calgary. Really struggling to get the expected level of service from the builder. Took me more than 3 months to get a refund for front yard development despite a 2 week promise. They kept on giving one reason or another for the delay in processing my check.

Now, I complained about my microwave having issues with frequent tripping the breaker. This was reported as part of the 11 month warranty inspection. They replaced the breaker with a dead front. This did not solve the problem. Instead of solving the issue, they refuse to fix it as the microwave is already out of warranty and asking me to take care of this myself. How illogical is that! The issue was reported as part of the warranty inspection and if they are unable to find the fault in time and fix, how does it become the customer’s problem. They expect the customer to debug the problem and tell them exactly where to fix! And despite reporting the issue on time, they would not fix as by the time they figured out the issue, my microwave is already out of warranty.

I am afraid if I am facing warranty issues with small things like the microwave, imagine what other customers might face with bigger problems!

We just wanted to rave about Sarah Dredge with Morrison Homes! She helped us build our very first home and was an absolute delight to work with. She made the whole process so easy for us with her knowledge and kindness! We would definitely build with Morrison Home again!

Purchasing our first home with Morrison was a alot easier and faster than we thought. Warm customer service from Alina at the Cornerstone branch, fast responses and excellent coordination and guidance throughout the process. Will be coming back for more Morison homes that's for sure.

We are very satisfied with Morrison Homes. Our sales manager Angela Mitchell and her colleagues are very accommodating, understanding and helpful. We are thankful for the great experience as a first-time homebuyer.

The kitchen we selected was nice except that initially there were no enough selection of kitchen counters and kitchen. Tiles.

Extended my possession date by 4 months, interest rates went up in that time and now I have to pay more interest on my mortgage because I had to requalify. My credit was pulled 4 TIMES. It took you guys 1 year to build a small house. They used cheap materials during the spike of lumber. Don’t buy a home from them.

I've normally always heard positive things about Morrison, so to my surprised when my good friend advise me of this terrible exprierence in the purchase of his new forever home, located in Mahogony. Having to go around and around on items that should've be addressed, continuously increasing cost where it shouldn't have been. Poor communicaion, and hidden costs that only came to light after contact was signed, and after being advise that those particular cost would not apply. The list goes on and on, it's discourgaring to hear that this reputable home build has provided such sub-par services since the change over in managment, The optics are presenting as multi-family quality verses Estate quality.

5 years ago we purchased a home in Legacy and went with “the Estate Master Build” experience, as we thought quality control would have been better than the quick smaller companies.

Experience was good, could have been better. Whenever I had an issue, they had excuses which I always had to state the case to assure that we were right. I still have issues with things that they shrugged off “Oh, that’s normal” to “Oh, it will go away” or “Oh, that’s just the house settling”

To skip all the issues I had I would like to address the one that I always complained about… Our garage always had an odour and moister condensation, even in the winter! They blamed the cars, mind you none of the other houses had ice buildup on their garage doors. We also had mold, yup mold! Only going into our second year of the house, but wait… their come back was that I had gardening tools against the wall! So it was my fault, but they will replace the mold with new dry wall, give me a anti mold spray and added a bathroom fan that stays on ALL the time. Also we painted the garage, and they wouldn’t be replacing the paint. They tell me they did this “as a Courtesy… I’ll save facial expressions to you.

A year later with me following up with them and report that we are still having the humidity and odd Odour (like something died - nothing you can overlook). This odour was also sometimes making its way to the bonus room and even getting in my car! We don’t keep garbage in the garage… we could never figure it out!

Well yesterday the mystery was solved just by fluke and I’m happy we found it, but I’m also fuming mad, because it’s the plumbing for a garage sink that isn’t capped! It’s an open doorway to all of our house plumbing coming through!

Come on Morrison! Stop blaming your clients! And take ownership of quality control and better inspection staff!

I still deal with a loose pipe that is not properly set in place that knocks like crazy when you flow a toilet upstairs, but wait “it will settle” (I’m just waiting for that one to come loose), 2 vents in a tiny bedroom that are not to code and over heats the room “well we’re not going to do anything about that”, our baseboard were never primed “do you expect us to repaint them all, they are white are they not” every time I wipe clean with water on them the wood starts showing…. So now I don’t clean them.

So sad for the quality we got for the price we paid! We would have had the same headache going with a smaller company for a fraction of the cost.

They need to get a better person than TRAVOR to show the houses at Rockland Park. I have never met someone so rude as him, I won't be buying a house because of this person. I asked him questions about a house and all his answers were I don't know! Then why you are here! The way he talks is very rude as if he owns the area and he is giving you the house for free! I have no idea how come he has a job.

ALINA in cornerstone is the most informative, courteous and pleasant to deal with, she builds the most beautiful homes at a great price.way to go @ MORRISON HOMES.to hire great people.
Thank you @STERLING HOMES, the most dishonest builder in cornerstone, for not accepting our offer, which led us to a better builder.

I would caution customers with unilateral changes made by the builder:

- Promised a 10 x 10 wooden deck, but getting a concrete pad instead
- Signed off for a railing up to 2nd floor, but getting a solid drywall model
- Chose a front door at the studio, but not getting that model

We are satisfied with the majority of the structure so far, but worry about further unanticipated changes

EDIT- We are now on our second Morrison home. We hear our friends and neighbors complain about their experience with other builders, but we once again had a great experience start to finish.

First Review- Amazing builder! We have been at our house for 2 years have nothing but good things to say about this builder. Even after 2 years the customer service and the service guys will go out of their way to fix issues that we can't do. Thumbs up Morrison homes!

I recently built with Morrison Homes and I was extremely impressed with the overall experience. With having knowledge in construction, I was very impressed to see the quality of material they use and the fact that their standard specification line includes so much in the home that you don't have to upgrade too much. When it came to the Selection Studio it was great to see how organized everything was and how smooth the process was. The designers have all your upgrade pricing on hand which really helps you make a decision at the moment instead of having to wait to get pricing. There are so many beautiful options in the selection studio that it can fit any style with any budget. Now that the home is built and completed, the warranty department has been nothing but fantastic with me. They make sure to investigate all my concerns and make sure the correct fix is completed and that I am happy with their solution. I would highly recommend Morrison Homes as a builder and I want to give a big thanks to all the staff at Morrison Homes for helping make my dream home come true

Although our new Morrison Home is not yet complete, I have to say that the process to date, has been fantastic! We have built new before and we were well prepared for the limitations and struggles that come with building. That has NOT been the case with Morrison Homes. Our Wolf Willow representative, Sarah, has been an incredible asset. Always punctual, professional, knowledgable and even keeled. The design studio options and standards were an absolute pleasant surprise and we have confidence that our style and needs will be at the fore front of our new home AND within budget. I will keep you posted, but this team is amazing!

I wanted to buy a home and found a nice corner lot offered by Morrison. The home plans were kind of generic and not quite what I wanted. I ws told I needed to give a 3k check deposit for the custom drafting but the check would only be held until the final drafting was to be don. I told them that I didn't keep all my money in that account and if they were to cash it, I needed one day to make sure the funds would be available. They said they would inform me before the drafting was done. For 2 weeks I gave their person clear plan drawings and pictures of what I wanted but each time they showed me an updated sketch it was nothing like what I wanted I kept showing them my drawings but as soon as I left their office my information was completely forgotten and the sales person just repeated their first sketch. I kept saying that I didn't like their design and wanted it changed before any drafting was done. Finally they sent me an email saying they were talking to the drafting department. I said not to do ;that until we were closer on the design. Without telling me they cashed the deposit check which of course bounced. Now my Credit Rating just dropped 50 points which screws me out of getting a house this year. THANKS MORRISON. Buyer Beware!

This is our 3rd home built my Morrison, Quality of workmanship has decreased with every build. The sale team is incredible and will come to bat for you, however they have no control over the quality of materials and workmanship, which is not what it used to be in our previous homes. The staff are good to deal with, but all the talk of making things right is just talk, if senior management is not on board. We expected more from a reputable builder. Personally, we will not build with them again.

I want to personally thank Rob Kennedy and his team (James and Darcy and anyone else I left out) again for coming on site and caring from the heart. Rob you went out of your way to make my home feel special to me and my boy and like my dad used to tell me always do good and good will find you. Thank you for being a great leader.
