Mountain View Trailer Rentals MVTR

Very disappointed. I have rented from these guys several times over the years and I can assure you, the last time, was the last time.

After booking an enclosed trailer for a 1 day Saturday move, I received a quote for double the advertised price. When I called to inquire as to why, I was told that because they weren't open Sunday for return, I would have to return it Monday morning (when I'm at work) and pay double the price because I had the trailer for 2 days. The only other options they suggested were that I take Friday off work and do the move then to avoid charges, or return it by close.noon on Saturday.

Not the kind of service I'm looking for in a rental company and I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I rented a tilt deck trailer to haul our side by side to the dealership for service. The booking website was easy to use and the price was good with solid customer service. The trailer was exactly as expected. Definitely worth checking out if you need a trailer for a day or two.

Excellent company to deal with. The trailer I rented was in good mechanical condition and the staff was friendly and great to deal with. I would rent from Mountain View again.

Traveled in from Airdrie because Airdrie Trailer Sales didn't have the trailer I needed. Had to fill out forms and supply information electronically and pay ahead. Pays of, you simply arrive, hook up, and away you go. Nice facility, clean and tidy. Very personably and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Helping my son move he try to get a U-Haul trailer. It was the worst experience so he tore up the contract and was in desperate need of a trailer. We came here. They had a trailer for us. It was clean inside everything work. I took it to Lethbridge and back And it pulled real nice it took
one tank of fuel. I brought the trailer back and I was late no hassle. I definitely will be coming back. If I ever need a trailer I highly recommend them.

Awesome service and fantastic value. Needed something bigger than what U-haul could offer for a move and these guys fit the niche perfect. Would definitely use again. Booking was easy, helped me out since my hitch wasnt configured right (drop vs riser), and even knocked some pricing down for an early return. Highly recommend

Do not waste your time going anywhere else as Mountainview Trailer Rental‘s is the place to get a trailer! Keith and all of his stuff will always ensure that you are looked after and happy, these guys have blown all other trailer rental places that I’ve ever dealt with which is quite a few rental places out of the water with pricing and service, as well as really good quality trailers that are very well-maintained!

Rented a flat bed to haul my car I’m restoring to sand blasting. The trailer was a tilt and load trailer with a winch. Equipment is in great shape, everything works well and how it should. Owners are amazing people who love what they do and take pride in their business. Office and yard are well kept and everything is clean 10/10 experience!

Have rented from MVTR a few times, and they never disappoint. Their new location and return process is also very convenient as well!

Steve was real helpful. Easy to book. Real simple. I rented a flat deck trailer for 2 days and there werent any issues. Definitely will be back. Pricewise, this place was the cheapest. I tried calling everywhere and others were either more expensive or just wouldnt pick ip the phone.

Posting this review to rate my experience with Mountainview Trailer Rentals. I rented a cargo trailer to transport my household furniture. I called about a week before I needed the trailer to book it if available. Thank goodness it was and so I reserved it for late Jun. The day before pickup I was contacted by Mountainview to confirm the booking, it was nice that they initiated the confirmation. At pickup they checked my hitch setup and tested for all lights and brakes to work, safety seems to be a priority. I was able to have the trailer for 2 days and Steve? Worked with me on the return after business hours. Mountainview was professional and "FANTASTIC" to work with, I would recommend them and I "will" use them the next time I need a Trailer rental.

Rented an 8 x 20 flat deck trailer. Took about 5 min to get the paperwork done. I did not have the right size ball which was not a problem. Rented that as well. Dropping off was a breeze. Easy location to find. The next time I need a trailer I will be coming back. Greg

He helped efficiently hook up the trailer and the drop off process was extremely easy. The trailer we rented was easy to pull and was very well maintained. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

Owner is very nice and keeps his trailers in great shape. He always hooks it up right and tests the lights before you go. This is the only place I'll ever go to rent a trailer.

If you need to rent a trailer dont go any where else. The owner is one of the most stand up guys I've met true to his word and even more. Went above and beyond to get me a trailer at my convenience! I will be using his services anytime I need a trailer and I recommend you do the same.

Had a perfect trailer rental experience with Mountain View Trailer Rentals. So much easier than with other big rental companies, and cheaper! Quick and easy pick up, trailer was clean and really good quality. So nice to tow a trailer that feels safe on the highway. Returning the trailer was also really easy as the trailer yard was open after hours. I had a few questions and was able to text and receive answers in a very quick and timely fashion. Had an awesome experience renting a car hauler from Steve. Great prices and professional, friendly service. Much better experience than other national trailer rental companies. I will definitely be using them again in the future if I need a trailer.

Mountain View Trailer Rentals helped us out of a tight situation when we were forced to move a non-running vehicle within a matter of hours. We checked around at various places only to hear that there were no rental places with trailers available for immediately use. We finally found Mountain View who although were fully booked, managed to squeeze us in for a half day rental at a great price! We got a 20' flatdeck with straps and hitch with top quality service for less than most big box rental companies! The equipment is all new and we'll maintained, and very easy to use. No weird contraptions like U-Haul has. I would highly recommend these guys for all of your trailer needs! I look forward to bringing you more business in the near future!

Steve runs an excellent business with unmatched service and care! I have rented 3 times from him over the course of the last month and half while I move my family from Calgary to Edmonton. He has been so accommodating and nothing but top notch.

All trailers are new and tow excellent! I have been able to pickup and drop off when it works for me and the pricing is excellent and you are gauranteed the trailer you want when you reserve! I would never deal with those clowns at U-Haul or a place like that again. I would recommend Steve and MVTR to anyone who needs a rental!

I can’t say enough about how great this business is, the owner is extremely polite and cordial unlike most of the other rental companies. Trailer was as described no issues I used it to move my 2010 Camaro to Edmonton and again to bring back my 2019 Corvette. Both cars fit without issue, the trailer towed perfectly even though the weather and roads were horrible.

Extremely competitive pricing no hidden fees, no BS, if you’re looking to rent a trailer this is the spot if you’re renting elsewhere you’re wasting your money.
