Highly recommend, everyone here is very nice I always get my cut from Anthony dude is very kind and always helpful if you don’t know what you wanna do with your hair, the cut is always perfect!

Terrible experience. Called in before to make an appointment and made sure to let them know I was in a time crunch. They have zero care about your time and will lie about wait times and just keep telling you that you’re next.

When people call saying they have a short window don’t lie to get the business. I will never come back.

Went there to get hair cut first off didn’t know what a fade was and could not do it correctly. 2 ask for Nike check and made mess of that as well then charged me almost 36 dollars for the hair cut. The place is way to pricy the hair cuts are way under par didn’t even get a shampoo for that price. I will never return and will inform others of the poor service and outrageous prices! Wish I could give negative stars.

Tony my man, you are awesome at your cuts. I would recommend this place a 1000 times over. Please people come check this out. I have found my one and only barber. I appreciate you guys. Management Is amazing too. They stand by their guys and only have the best.

One of the worst haircuts I have had, the barber didn't follow instructions, and the hot "shave" wasn't very hot, and it feels like I shaved 2 days ago. Definitely not happy with the quality of service from their barber

Worst experience ever. First off my haircut SUCKED. The “fade” lines were up and down, he cut my hair way too short, this was after he cut off the little I asked him to, then he went ham I dunno why. Before all this happened he stood next to some one else and didn’t even start cutting my hair for 5 minutes I was sitting there with apron on waiting again after waiting to get my cut already. During that I asked another barber to cut it instead and he lied and said he has clients. He had absolutely nobody to cut he just wanted to pack up and leave which he did. After all that, it cost me $55… when I have 2 barbers even better charging 10-20 dollars less. I never go to new places but this was a last minute cut as I had to attend a wedding. I would’ve rather went looking a caveman instead of having this butchered haircut. -2 stars for the overpriced cut.

I take my young boys here to get a haircut. We've had the pleasure of getting the same gentleman as last time and I really wish I caught his name. He treats my kids so well, sparks up great conversation with them and delivers a great haircut at the same time.

Great customer service, Friendly owner and even gave us free Drinks. They give out fresh fades as well. I would highly recommend.

Just got my hair cut there by one of the older guys there and by the far THE WORST haircut i've ever had in my life, I asked for 1 inch off the top and he took 3-4 inches and I told him he took enough off the top and he proceeded to take more off after i told him he cut enough off. I also asked for him to use a size 8 razor guard on my sides and i visibly saw him put the size 4 guard on. After all this disappointment he asked if i wanted my beard trimmed and i told him no and he then trimmed my beard after i asked him not to and he messed that up too. Never going back, definitely don't recommend wasting your money there and risking a bad haircut.

I've been coming here as a walk-in for about a year now. Consistently good service, clean sharp cuts, and barbers who listen well to direction. After explaining kinda poorly the cut I wanted on I think my third visit, the guy told me the terminology to use on my next visit. Haven't had a problem since, and gotten exactly what I want every time.

Amazing service! JR did a fantastic job on my husband's hair and beard trim. Very friendly, patient, and good at his job! Will come again!

If possible want to give 0 stars I asked for fed and show him my old pic asking cut same as that and god know what he done. It’s look really horrible.

Would not recommend seeing one of the younger barber. I showed him the type of comb over fade I wanted and asked if he feels comfortable doing it and also asked him if he could pull it off. He's responds was yes. Bruh, I'm telling you now, this guy gave me the worst comb over any man has seen. The fade was to high and does not blend well. I honestly felt like I was a guinea pig for this guy. And the first thing I did when the cut was done is i bought a cap ‍️

Went as a walk in to shed that Covid hair. Ali helped me right away. Had a chair ready and gave me a great cut. I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience. Nice guys I will be back while Im in the city (for work). Appreciate you Ali. Thank you!

My most recent experience at Mr.barber West gate was tip top as usual. The owners and workers do a great job to make you feel part of the team, and take directions very well. I will continue to tell people to come here. Special thanks to Ali who cut my hair this time.

I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to get sat down, Paid for the hair wash and shampoo and the closest to that I got was a spray bottle. Very disappointed

Clean cut and taper. Location is cleanly and well spaced in terms of seating. I did the online check in and did not have to wait when I walked in!

Great place on weekdays. Don’t go on a weekend when some staff are half asleep/hung over. My experiences here range from great to terrible. Gambling on my haircut is something I’m getting tired of doing here.

Had never visited this place for a hair cut but it is walking distance from where I live, and my son in law said he was a regular there and his hair is always on point. When I went I was greeted warmly and service from Ali G.tbe barber was #1 meticulous hair cut and it looked great! Thank you I will be back!

I've always been a Great Clips kind of guy. Decided to try a REAL barber this time. They turned my mop into a stylish cut. I don't know much about HOW to cut hair but my experience was different than what I'm used to, in a good way! I felt the correct amount of time an attention was taken to give me a cut that is consistent and will grow out nicely.

I will be returning for my next cut.

Honestly I'm not one for posting reviews but the service here was so awful that if I can save someone a bad haircut, maybe that's worth it. I was clear about what I was looking for including no sharp lines and to taper between the top and sides. Unfortunately what I got was 7" on top and shaved down to where you could see skin through the sides. Even still, the harsh lines between were crooked and asymmetrical. I'm not sure the guy knew how to use a razor and the sides ended up patchy. Since I doubted even a professional could fix that mess, I went home and shaved everything off. I keep a photo of the haircut sometimes to show friends for a laugh. Anyways, maybe this was one barber or one bad haircut, but the fact that they let that haircut happen probably speaks for itself.

It was our first experience in this barbershop and it was amazing and my son liked it so much, thats the most important thing, if hes happy of his haircut that means its good.

My husband took my son and it was one of his best haircuts. He was also in and out quick. Very impressed, now my husband is going to go next with my son.

I have been to a lot of great barber shops throughout Edmonton in the last 12 years. Today was my first visit to Mr. Barber Westgate. Ruel was the best barber I have ever had. His attention to detail and quality of work are unmatched by anyone I have encountered and that is saying a lot!

Beautiful place, modern, clean, excellent service by Moe, did a great job on my hubby’s hair. Great attention to detail. Excellent price! Guy’s so nice offering drinks to everyone who comes in.

1st time at Mr. Barber Westgate. What a fantastic experience right from walking in the door. Ruel greeted me and was extremely friendly and professional. This was my 1st visit ever to a Barber after I decided to grow a beard. Ruel asked me what I wanted and listened to my thoughts on what I had in mind for my future beard. The entire sitting was enjoyable and relaxing and felt and looked like a new man. Already looking forward to going back again. Thanks Ruel.
