Mr. Lube + Tires

I called to double-check the wait yesterday and the employee who answered was incredibly helpful in advising me of the best time to show up with how busy it is right now. When we arrived today we were given what ended up being an overestimated wait time– which we appreciated because when we finished up sooner it was a pleasant surprise! The service was seamless and quick, and all the workers were pleasant and professional. Well worth the very fair price!

Some of the staff were ok but there were a couple really rude guys on staff. Also felt pretty high price-wise. It was my first time getting my oil changed and I'll definitely be looking for a different place next time.

Garbage lube for my whole life they wasting my 3 hours in line for changing tires but till the end for waiting they said sorry we cAnt change tires at 6pmi am not recomannded this to any one ….

I got my winter tires changed over in Red Deer, when I got to Edmonton I called this location asking if they could retorque my tires, they said yes, and park at the exit. I told them what I drove and that I’ll be there in 15ish minutes. When I got there I parked near the exit, waited 10 minutes for someone to come out (as they told me to park there) after 15 minutes of waiting and no one came out, I went in and told them I called to have my tires retorqued. When the person with the moustache that was twisted at the ends, came out with a torque wrench asked me where I got my tires put on, I told him at a mr lube in Red Deer, he then looked at my car & told me I need to go back to Red Deer to get the retorqued at the Mr lube I was at. Keep in mind, I called at first and mentioned I got my tires put on in Red Deer and just needed to get them torqued after the 100km-150km range. I left extremely confused because I’ve NEVER been told I need to go back to where I got my tires put on to have them torqued. The guy walked out with a torque wrench in the first place, I don’t know what stopped him from torquing them once he came out of the building. Terrible workmanship from the guy with the funky moustache.

I have been using this place for a while now and it’s always been great service, fast and efficient but today I met a gentleman by the name krushal. He was super knowledgeable and helpful with my services went the extra mile to explain and advise on how best to maintain my car services. Quality customer care. Highly recommended.

Went in for oil change during the wiper blade promo and I asked if they had any available wiper blades. The worker said yes, so I continued on with my oil change. Gave him my AMA, received discount. All is fine. Until he says I am ready to go. I asked him for my wiper blades, and he proceeds to tell me that I can't have them if i do the AMA discount. Well a simple heads up would have been nice, the discount is $9 & if given the choice I'd take the blades obviously. That's why I initially asked about them. He proceeded to argue and tell me its my fault I didnt ask for them earlier, as if I was supposed to magically know it was one or the other. And then when he had to get the Manager, Martin, to help, they decided to snicker at me while taking an additional 30 mins to figure out how to charge me $9. Get your act together is all I have to say. You work in customer service. If you don't know how to handle a simple issue without losing all professionalism, it's time to find another line of work. Oh and just fyi, they say they do the complimentary fill up/ check of fluids, but they didnt top up my washer fluid, check my tire pressure, wash my windows or reset my oil light. So, just be weary of what they say they do and what your invoice says. Seems like some dishonesty going on here.

I got an oil and tire change at this location and I was in the bay for over an hour and cost me 150$. Absolutely ridiculous. The guy I had would just randomly take off. Once everything was finally done he took off again and all I had to do was pay and leave but I was stuck in there for an extra 20 minutes. Brutal performance I must say

Mr Raghav was an amazing guy.he did wonderful job for my vehicle with attention to detail.

Had the pleasure of meeting Jean earlier this week for an oil change. He very professional and personable which I think is a great combination. If I could, I'd have him working on my vehicle anytime I go in there.

Jean provided great customer service. The extra checks on our air filter, cabin filter & rear differential shows that they care about the quality of work they perform. All my questions & concerns were addressed. Will definitely be returning as a regular customer to give their location my business.

*Great Service* I have been to this location repeatedly because of the top notch service and help I received from Jean (JF). Between the oil changes, fliud flushes, tire changes and battery issue, he made sure my suv was fixed, safe and went over and above each time. Highly recommend him and this shop. I will definitely be back with my convertible this spring!

Like always nothing but excellent service, my dodge is good to go I am always impressed when I visit this location.the whole staff done a amazing job, mostly Jean. Mr Lube is very fortunate how professional you are to the customers

Oil changes are not my favourite thing to do (if they’re yours then kudos). I decided to try out a different Mr. Lube today and had the pleasure of having Jean chat up a storm with me. I didn’t think it was possible to laugh as much as I did while getting my oil done and filters changed, but Jean made the whole experience amazing. Will definitely be back!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!
I've had after issues every time I've went to this location and I'm done and Mr Lube. Issues from previous visits.
-plug not on tight. Leaked.
-dripping oil every time from not cleaning off excess oil.
-skid plate not re fasten was dangling with one screw.
Had to go back several times the day after.
But this last time I informed the upstairs tech to please make sure plug, skid plate are tight and to wipe away all excess oil from bottom. I'm almost certain the tech bellow deliberately left the oil or even put oil all over underneath!

Went here for an oil change on my truck, service was good so I thought. Went back a day later with my other vehicle which has the same type engine for an oil change and the price was different. I asked why the difference in price when it was the same type service? Come to find out they put in the wrong oil. Long story short I was promised I free oil change for their mistake and I went back to get it and was told I could only get 50% off. Won’t be using them anymore they screw up and won’t own up to it and I won’t risk damaging my vehicles engine with these guys.

Fast and convenient! I sat in my car, enjoying the free wifi while they changed my tires and did the oil, all finished in @ 40 mins!

Was long line but mostly due to tire changing. Never knew they offered that service. Got up and talked to them inside and quickly opened a bay for me to do oil change. OIL CHANGE WAS GOOD AND FAST. I suggest you put signs up and have specific lines for tire change only and not hold up regulars who want the regular oil change. I nearly went elsewhere for oil change.

Mr. Raghav helped a lot.understood the problem and gave me a right advise. Now i will be a regular customer of this location.
Again a big thanks for changing the battery and wipers.

Refused to change the tires as they were “the wrong size”. I took the tires to KalTire and the tires were not the wrong size

Feb 12/22 Update* I just came back today and everyone is so knowledgeable and nice here. They are still going above and beyond I even recieved a flower today just because. And it is very thoughtful and appreciated thanks again!

Quick service and friendly. O ly bad thing was getting into the shop because they don't seem to want to do any snow removal. If you have a small car trying to get into this location, I don't recommend unless you want to get stuck

Honestly had a great experience here. Everyone had positive energy, and very friendly. Full synthetic engine oil and manual transmission ran me about 260$.

I just needed a wheel retorqued after diy change. The Gracious folks of this fine establishment, swiftly obliged and topped the air all around.they politely declined my offers to pay for their services or even buy replacement Air filter that I may need later. Thanks for the generosity of your time and humanity.

I have never done a oil change at a mr.lube until now. Experience was good. They did a good job.

Friendly staff. Quick service. I needed 2 leaking tires fixed. They have the equipment to work my trucks bigger rims and tires. Most don't. All good.

We continue to recieve outstanding customer service every time we bring in our company vehicles for service, thanks to Codey and the crew. This time we even got free wiper blades!

Tried to sell me 4 new tires when all i wanted them to do was put a tire on a rim for me. Wouldn't do it as my car was AWD. They said i had to replace all 4 tires completely ignoring that the tire i wanted to put on was the exact same tread depth as what was already on the car

I go here for all my oil changes and tire changes. They are always super friendly and helpful. Will continue to go here again in the future.

If you want to bring in a perfectly functional vehicle for an oil change, only for these ill equipped buffoons to mess it up, keep the vehicle over night, not reimburse your uber and return your vehicle missing thousands of dollars of items then this place is for you. The assistant manager is an exceptionally rude lady who doesnt have her faculties together well enough to answer a simple question. Dont bring your vehicle here. It's a joke. Wouldn't let these clowns run a lemonade stand.

The worst place to do oil change. I just did a simple oil change and they gave a car with LEAKING OIL dripping oil on my driveway. While doing oil change too, the mechanic broke the canister. So they were chatting out loud they don't have it in stock but can try to use the staff car parts. Then they offer "free" replacement but no idea how or if they have correct part. Even while filling, they almost put the wrong oil type (10w30 instead of 0W20). Luckily myself and one staff noticed the bottle and got the right one. But still I got a LEAKY OIL CAR back. Car was 2013 Toyota RAV4 well maintained and was running perfect until going for oilchange. Stay away from Mr Lube at this location.

Crew was professional and friendly. A true no appointment neccessary experience. Would go back in a heartbeat.

My experience here was amazing. Lynsey is awesome and is great at her job. She took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I understood. I've been here a few times and have had the pleasure of having her each time and each visit was the exact same she did not miss anything. I highly recommend coming to this location.

Flat tire at 6: 15pm when all the tire shops are closed, lucky to find Mr. Lube! Who knew they did tire repairs? ! A special thanks to Brian for being able to fix the flat.

The way they do the inspection is the same thing you do it by ure self when you know nothing about cars

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I wish I could give negative stars. This place doesn't deserve one star.
I took my car on for an oil change. Spent 130 dollars. They did not show me the new levels. But I drove off thinking everything was fine.
A week later I went on an 8 hour road trip and my engine overheated and I wasn't able to drive it. I spent $600 getting it towed to banff. Another $200 for a mechanic to look at it. Finally made it home to Edmonton. I went to Mr Lube to inform them that the mechanic found VERY LITTLE OIL and metal shavings in the filter. He also found that the filter was very loose. The person I spoke to at Mr Lube (Cody) was so rude and argumentative. I couldn't believe the lack of customer service. He even tried to blame me and said this was my fault, that I was trying to rip him off!

I Urge You DO NOT Ever get your vehicle serviced Here! Big Mistake.

I came in for a simple oil change and 30 minutes later as I was driving I noticed a crazy amount of smoke coming out of the hood of my car. Luckily I work close by and parked my car and called this location where an employee came right away with some fluid. She filled it and noticed the vehicle was profusely leaking however couldn’t see the source of the leak and said that I could not drive my car and should get it towed because further damage would be caused. I DID NOT HAVE SUCH A LEAK PRIOR TO DRIVING INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
My vehicle was towed to my mechanic and he reported that the radiator hose was loosened off which should NOT have been. This now has caused my engine to overheat. I was told by the manager that the Operations Manager would contact me over a week ago and have yet to hear anything from anyone.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY AND HASSLE AND DO NOT COME HERE.

Very cheap place.make sure if you go there, keep your eyes on them as they will not top up your fluids, and even when I asked them they lied to my face that they already did.very unprofessional.plus always ask them to show you the new oil levels as again they will not show you unless you asked them.going cheaper and lazier.poor work ethics.

The service was good. However I am really confused with how they decide who goes first. I was told when I arrived that it was first come first serve, which makes sense to me. So they had cars in other lines go ahead of me, which I was fine with.
But then after I was waiting for 1.5 hours to get my tires changed, the staff had 2 cars in other lines behind me go ahead that had only been waiting for 15-20 minutes.
Overall the service is good, but I was definitely not impressed by how they move customers through.

Horrible degrading manager. Had 2 separate incidents here but finally learnt my lesson and will not returning. Have zero trust in them to not wreck my car. Stay away!

Lynsey always provides exceptional service. She is the only reason I continue to drive 30 minutes for an oil change at this Mr. Lube specifically.

I was denied a wheel retorque today. I was always been a customer there and it was so disappointing. It can cause a lot of accident, that is why I want to have mine done.but this shop is too lazy to do it! No respect at all!

This location is near my daughter's house so I often stop there. Great service and professional work.
