Mr. Lube + Tires

Well for starters I’m waiting on line now for 45 min, I have been watching the tech in front of me go help the tech beside him put a plug patch in a tire for half hr. The guy doing the tire I’m pretty sure has no idea what he is doing after the other guy finished putting it in for him he started putting the tire back on the rim. Once finished he proceeded to try to balance the tire took him 3 tries to figure out he didn’t have the right adapter on to keep the rim on tight so he could actually balance the tire. Now back to my bay it’s been 45 min for the car to have the oil changed as tech has been all over the place. I’m pretty sure I will never be returning to this location. You might want to hire people that understand and know how to do the job. Or get them all training before hiring them.

I recently had the pleasure of Jaideep Singh from Mr. Lube changing the oil in my car, and I must say the service was exceptional. Jaideep's professionalism and efficiency stood out, providing a seamless experience. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor make Mr. Lube my go-to choice for automotive care.

Worst customer service! Waited 15 minutes to get an oil change, when I was in the bay I shut my vehicle off as I always do. The technician requested that I hand over my car keys. I declined, stated I didn't feel comfortable doing that. Then they said it was for technician safety. I told him the vehicle was turned off I've been driving for 25 years I've had many oil changes I've never turned on my vehicle without being instructed to so when I asked him how am I supposed to turn my vehicle on when they need me to, when I don't have my own car keys? Then this other technician came over and got right in my face and told me that he was not servicing my vehicle today. When I tried to compromise with them explaining how I did not feel comfortable handing over my car keys and that I've never had to do that before I tried to reason with them and say that I would put it on the top of my Dash so that the keys would not be in the ignition and they were visible to everyone but still not handing them over my personal car keys. They told me this was a policy. I asked him to provide the policy. They showed me a homemade label printer sticker on the top of their computer monitor, lol. I explained to them that that was not a policy that was merely a sticker and that I needed to see something because I've had my oil changed here many times and I've never been asked to remove my keys from my vehicle. He told me they "stopped asking for keys during covid" but they resumed asking for the keys. I comprised by putting the keys on the roof, as one tech asked, but then the second tech stated they are all refusing service. Summary: keys in ignition but turned off, not good enough, keys placed on dashboard, not good enough, keys placwd ontop of roof, not good enough. I left without the service that I needed, without your company getting a dollar, and you will never see another dollar from me again as I will purposely now go out of my way to drive to another oil change place that is further away from my home so that I never have to give you any of my money again because this was the worst experience.

Had issues with my truck starting, and my dodge had previous issues with a mysterious amount of oil disappearing before my 5k service, causing an automatic shutdown.

The manager came over to top up in case it was low, and then we got it into the shop. After about an hour of their staff trying to pin down the issue, they figured out that the battery had gone and needed replacing, and thankfully they had what I needed in stock. They were beyond kind and courteous, and I was grateful to get the help and keep going.

I went here to replace my wiper blades and they told me about a promotion. If I get an oil change, I could then get the two front window wiper blades for free. Since I also needed an oil change this was a great deal. Connor worked on the top of my suv while Luke did the work needed undertneath. Connor was so pleasant and personable. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and behind. He also gave a dog treat to my Frenchie Bella which made her happy while we waited. Their service was fast and effiecient. He filled the windshield wiper fluid that I happened to have with me and checked my lights. I am very impressed with the customer service I received:)

Saw KB & Luke today for an oil change. Great service & work, I’m always happy with Mr. Lube in Sherwood Park.

Do not go here for your tire needs. Took my wife’s suv there on Sunday for a nail in the tire. After waiting for 2 hrs I was taken in. They did say sorry for the wait and I had some time so okay. They didn’t seem to know how to operate an auto bead breaker. They asked me to step out but watch out for the floor as they didn’t put the safety cover on the service bay below and inspect the tire with them. There was some “rub marks” and I was told it was unsafe to patch the hole. I then got a quote for 850 for 2 new tires because I was told you can’t just replace one and I would have to pay to recycle both…. One good one and one “bad one”. So I got them to pack it back up and after another hour I was finally able to leave. So I dropped it off at kal tire and they inspected it and repaired it for $68. I know where I’m going to go and where I’m not going to go. I hope you do the same

Waited over 1.5 hours while they let others that got there after me switch lanes and get in first. After 1.5 hours I was finally let in. Didn't ask what type of oil I wanted, though put in synthetic which is what I wanted (hence the one star gained), spent 15 mins reefing on my oil filter cover just to finally realize they were using the wrong tool (have yet to inspect for damage), and broke the clips attaching the noise dampening plate under the engine, replaced with zip ties. That wouldn't be a huge deal if this wasn't a brand new car. But either way I'll have to replace them at my own cost now. Won't be back. Won't recommend. Likely the most frustrated I've been with complete strangers in longer than I can recall.

Had an excellent experience today. First time here and I was very impressed. They treat you like you're at a dealership. Ethan, who was very friendly, brought me a hot coffee while I waited to get in for an oil change - which kept me happy during the wait! They were all friendly and quick once I got in the bay. I believe Kate was the other tech I spoke with and she was awesome as well.

They have a great system in place to make sure they double and triple check that everything is sealed and ready for the road. Very impressed.

In summary, GOOD on this location and management for hiring and training employees to be so personable yet professional. Thats the formula for returning customers. I will see you guys in 10,000km.

Justin and his team are great. He was very friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and assured customer safety is a priority. I recommend their service!

I cannot say enough good things about how this company went above and beyond. I was stranded in Sherwood Park with my children (I live at least a half hour away)! The manager Justin was very understanding of my situation and said he would get me in and get my tires changed. There were so many constraints on getting this done too. I needed new tires and my rims were manageable but not great. Justin and his team were so positive and kind the entire time. They said they would make sure my family got home. They stayed long past the time the shop was supposed to close to make sure we got all our tires changed. Their prices were so reasonable and they did not overcharge for their services and were just all around phenomenal! Highly reccommend these guys! Because of them, my family was able to get home safely and in a reasonable time frame!

The group together are efficient, entertaining and an absolute pleasure to be around!

Amazing service! Thank you to the tech, Ashton, and his team for their help today. I needed an urgent coolant flush and despite the fact I arrived late in the day, they did a very thorough job. Highly recommend this location. Really nice to see there are still great service people out there. I am a very grateful and satisfied customer! Thanks again!

Do not waste your time at this location. Waited in line for 30 min for an oil change only for them to tell me they are short staffed and don't have an oil filter in stock for a 2020 GMC Acadia. With so many other choices in Sherwood Park, I would highly recommend any of the other 10-15 quick service oil change locations in town first. Time is at a premium and this location wasted mine today.

Manager is very rude. I don't recommend going to this place because they don't come outside to tell how long your wait is

You guys need to teach your techs how to look at a dipstick, I had my truck in there a few days ago and watched him pull the dipstick for my transmission (that I just spent $5000 rebuilding less than 10000 km ago) and he looked at it and put it back in, I assumed it was fine but my transmission has been acting up on me the last couple days (I have put only 100 km or so on the truck) so I have been checking a bunch of things, one was the transmission fluid, its empty, I don't know what happened, I just know its empty and your tech should have spotted a very low fluid level when he looked at the dipstick. I will also be emailing this into your customer service as your incompetence could have possibly cost me a lot of money, this is not ok, and you need to train your people

Additional Info: received a single email from Mr. Lube, explained the situation and they seem to be ignoring me now, its going to cost me a couple grand to repair, thank you Mr. Lube, very professional company

Went in for tire swap to winter ties and they caught that tread on those tires lower than current, would be harder to drive. VERY courteous. My only cost was time. Wish everywhere took this kind of care.

I went just to get my tires torqued and the manager was so kind and did it no problem. I'll definitely be back for my oil change! Great service

Was there for an oil change. The guys were super helpful and explained everything in detail. I was free in no time.

Waited for over 2 hours for a tyre leak repair on Monday, Nov 7th, and ended up having to leave because these people weren’t doing any work. They told me, when I arrived, that I’d only have to wait for 30 mins. I missed two appointments this morning because of them. I couldn’t drive around with a bad tyre when there’s snow everywhere, so I had to take it to the dealership instead who squeezed me in the same day and only charged me $10 more. Waste of my 2 hours. Horrible location.

The kids inside were standing around doing nothing and it was so frustrating. This is the worst Mr. Lube in Alberta.

The guy were fast and efficient. Hard working and worth going here. Don't mind the wait it takes time for good service

Went in for an oil change and they had said my high beam was out so obviously ask them to change it for me, the whole service was very unprofessional high school kids just playing around being totally unprofessional. They rang me through and didn’t charge for the bulb because it took five guys to get a lightbulb out of my car and switched and then they charge me afterwards when they had already rang me through. Very unprofessional never coming back

Could have done this myself faster and cheaper in my driveway. I thought this would at least be convenient. Took over an hour. Quoted one price based on my vehicle registration information then charged more $$ for the ultra premium oil package. Sorry, the quote was wrong, nothing we can do. I was apologizing to my car the entire drive home. Sorry for the mistreatment old girl.

I received excellent service from Quinn and Jesse. They were very professional and thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. I recommend getting your service from them anytime.

I have gone here multiple times, with multiple vehicles, based on the convenience of the location. The last two times they failed to properly reinstall the panel underneath the engine on my vehicle and the totally forgot to reinstall the engine cover on our van.
I recommend they spend more effort on basic quality control and less on the hard upsells.
Will not be returning.

I am visiting this location since 2018-2019 and I have been to this location today again and my experiences is always great except this time. I am loyal to this location always had great service from the associates or the managers.many managers changed but the service never declined. So I forgot the coupon which getting sent to us to our house address but I forgot to take the coupon when I went today and it happened with us couple of times that we forgot the coupon but in past the manager or associate is very accommodating considering the fact I am one of their regular customer from longtime. Today they were so amendment and didn't offer me coupon discount. I can totally understand if I am first time visitor or playing games to get discount but I felt that being a loyal customer they disrespected and didn't do it right. By the way I have three vehicles and all goes to this location only for service. In this competitive market if they don't respect the loyalty then I may have to consider the company which does value the loyalty and keep the smile on the face of there customers. It is not about $10 buck but the value. I hope the owner or the manager will read this comments and will train the associates to make it right for future customers. Thank You

I came in to get my car serviced with oil change and get my new tires that were off rim, put onto my existing rims. I can not believe how amazing the service was. They have been slammed all day with people like me who waited last minute to get their tires done. (Side note: as they are slammed with higher than normal wait times, with people who are he last minute type, patience and understanding is a huge thing, as they didn’t ask you to wait till last minute to get your tires done) I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have their vehicles serviced. If I could rate them higher I would. Fast, friendly and superb service. Go check them out!

A bit steep for an oil change but they have good customer service and it's warranty approved. Will return for further services.

Staff rude and personally made me very uncomfortable. Many better places to get an oil change in Sherwood Park where as a female you dont feel uncomfortable and lied to.

The guys tat the baseline location were wonderful! They were able to get me in to swap my tires on short notice. They were very fast and professional. I will be going back in the fall to get them to change them again. Thank you Levin you are amazing!

I would NOT take my vehicle to this location. Not only did they completely damage my husbands rims while changing his tires but then treated him with complete disrespect when we tried to get reimbursement.

It was blatantly clear that the damage was caused by this location. Our vehicle was brand new! They did not give us anything for the damages. VERY disappointed with the service and overall support.

Have seen first hand some of the damage to a vehicle that has come from this shop. The response he gave was shocking. Would not recommend

The professional and caring treatment I got here was impressive. A lot of oil change places are kind of sketchy, here I was given honest evaluations of what needed maintenance and what could wait. I also got my winter tires taken off without having to make an appointment. They also sell tires, which I like, and their pricing on tires was really good. Thanks.

This company does not support their customers. They damage your vehicle and then avoid all possible responsibility, leaving you to pay for their mistakes and negligence. Companies that feel they are above the customer and refuse to be accountable for their actions should be boycotted and avoided. There are many other maintenance shops elsewhere in the city and I highly recommend you take your vehicle to one of them. And no “response” from the owner is needed here. Don’t contact me. Contact your store and address the issue with them. The owner of this Sherwood park location needs to commit to better customer service, plain and simple.

I received great service by some pretty nice guys here today! They did a thorough job and were super nice. I felt like they went above and beyond for me and I appreciate it. If I could give 4 and a half stars I would. Nothing to do with the service or anything just the price was about 20 dollars or so higher than I expected. But that's ok doesnt take away from the excellent service!

Fantastic place to go if you appreciate shoddy workmanship, unprofessional conduct, unwillingness to accept when an error has been made and a bad attitude just to top it off! Honestly, if you're looking for somewhere to get your tires and oil done, steer well clear (and I mean literally steer in the other direction).

Had a great experience at this location. Kayla was our tech, she did a great job keeping us informed in a friendly manner. I've spent a lot of time in shops in my career and this place was clean, it's great to see pride reflected in the workspace. Team communication seemed amazing, techs above and below deck were all in synch, and they also topped off the rest of my trucks fluids. I'll definitely come back for my next oil change.

Always a great place to go, staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. Had a new employee, he has only been there a week but he was great! I wish I would of gotten his name for a shout out!

Went here in my fairly new vehicle as the dealership was booked up with appointments. There was no upselling or pressure at all, the crew was very polite and professional. Would recommend

Really great service. They did not have the right oil filter for my new car. They phoned when they got one from the dealer. Plus they have 15% off. Very satisfied. Well worth the visit
