Mr. Lube + Tires

Came in here around 630pm tonight, upon pulling in a see 3 gentleman 2younger and 1 older sitting in office and no cars there. I pulled in for an oil change, older gentleman went underneath and said that my oil was dripping out alot and he couldn't do an oil change. Weird as my oil light wasn't on and I'm having no other issues. Thinking that it was weird I pulled over in another parking lot to check oil level and it was at safe level. Interesting.so I took it to another mr lube on 5480 136 Ave NW, Edmonton, and didn't say anything besides I'm here for an oil change and filter. They changed my filter and did the oil change with no issues. After finishing I asked was my oil leaking to which I was told no, there was old residue on there but nothing new and it was fine. I said are you sure cause I went to another mr lube and they said they couldn't do it because of issues mentioned above. They proceed to tell me they just didn't wanna do oil change and were being lazy. They also after hearing this went back under my car and took a picture showing me there was no issues and nothing to worry about. They told me there was no reason for them not to do an oil change. Horrible service and definitely disappointed.but thanks to guys at 136ave mr lube for helping me out and saving me a useless trip to the mechanic.hopefully management can figure this out

Not happy with the service you provided to my family member. Came with one flat tire. He was told that he needed to replace all 4 tires, which would have cost approximately $1800. I advised him to seek service elsewhere these tires are new with low milage on them. He went to canadian tire, they did the measurements, and they had no problem replacing the one tire. The technician agreed with same.

Went there last minute because my mom’s car was smoking. The service woman with blonde and black hair was very nice and an amazing help! Thank you for helping my mom!

The staff here was very professional and extremely quick service. I drove all over Edmonton looking for somewhere to change my tires without any luck. I was referred by a friend to this location and was in and out with in 30 minutes! I definitely recommend Mr. Lube St. Albert! Thanks guys!

VERY POOR service. Do NOT spend your money here, there are cheaper and SAFER alternatives in the area.

I've used Mr.lube for years and this was the last time.

I went in for a winter tire change/rotation/balance ($134.35) and the next day I've learned my lesson the hard way.

1) One of my tires was brought in flat. They noticed this, pumped it up and put it on my vehicle. I told them it was a puncture and that it needed to be repaired. They did NOT repair that tire and it is flat again today. Instead two gentlemen told me it was "just a bit low, I checked it, it's good". It was NOT good.

2) They did not rotate my tires. Such a simple task, and they straight up didn't do it.

3) One of my lug nuts was about 4 rotations from falling off. Not an exaggeration, if I had drove again, my lug nut key would have been lost. Not sure when I would have checked before it became dangerous, but after the first issue with the flat tire, I had to re-check all their work.

Essentially, I spent $135 for the convenience because I was sick, when I should have just done this in my driveway and gotten more sick. It would have been free, and far less aggravating/potentially dangerous.

TLDR: $134.35 for them to NOT repair my tire, to NOT rotate my tires, and to change 3/4 tires properly.

Was helped by Rielly and had an excellent experience where I was helped but not taken advantage of! Thank you for the fantastic service!

Great place for a quick and affordable oil change. Stayed inside my car which it was convenient! I usually do it myself but seeing how fast and easy the process is I’ll be coming back for my oil change.

Being an equipment mechanic and going into oil change places give me chills. BUT I will admit for a bunch of lube techs I’ve been a returning customer since owning a warrantied vehicle. Hope to see some of the young guns join the dark side soon lol

Nice to see some women in the workforce,
Shop was clean and organized, clear communication with service. Got oil as a light changed up will I checked and replied to emails. It’s a productive way of keeping my company going while I do some basic but very important maintenance on my work truck.

They always go above and beyond to help with anything and are so kind and accommodating the entire time! Would recommend!

To begin, I believe that a large part of any good experience at any establishment is the customer service you receive and then the goods and/or products.

The technicians are fast effective and different jobs according to spec includong asking about my puppies and offering milk bones, however when I interacted with manager (listed on her jacket) she offrered very short responses, not a friendly approach whatsoever and I asked if there's something going on she replied " the smell that's absolutely awful" I said "oh okay"

No further interaction until asked to pay.

It's really too bad, I liked this location a lot but if the manager, the person who is supposed to represent the customer service standard and the standard of the shop, behaves in this matter I will not be returning.
If the owner would like to follow up with me, I would be completely fine with that as well. Not appreciated and I didn't feel like my business was either.

I get having a bad day, leave personal stuff at home and represent your business. Period.
