When a home inspection revealed that our fireplace chimney was rotten, we tried to find a contractor to fix it. The first ones recommended either were too busy or didn’t have all the trades required for the job. When I called Maroun he came over right away and was honest about what he could and could not do and the time frame. He told us he could make it work within a few weeks, before winter arrived. He was easy to deal with and the crews were friendly and worked hard. When a snowstorm threatened to halt work they worked extra to get the job in a good spot and came back promptly afterward to finish it on time. The result was beyond our expectations and the price was fair. Highly recommend Maroun and his team!

I hired this company to tear out my cake studio.the owner and every single one of his guys who was a part of the job were fast, efficient and respectful. They did an amazing job and did it well. My mom is trying to sell her house, and as part of a real estate deal, the home inspector flagged problematic pipes in the in-floor heating in both the basement and main floor. The pipes were commonly used in the early 2000s, when the house was built, but were recalled a few years later. So, we made the difficult decision to decommission the in-floor heating system, and retrofit the house with a forced air furnace. Easy to say, not easy to do.

Having no idea where to turn, we found Maroun on Houzz. Maroun immediately did a site visit with his plumber, and the next day sent his HVAC guy as well. They returned with a reasonable quote, and fit us into their schedule within a week or so. We were blown away by his responsiveness, and knowing how busy he is, we were thrilled to get such quick service.

You hear horror stories about contractors, but Maroun is truly the real deal. He was excellent to deal with, very responsive, kept the schedule clipping along, and finished the work to a high degree of skill and detail, only slightly later, and slightly higher in price, than anticipated (though both the delay and slight increase in price were fair and reasonable).

His whole crew was great, but special shout-outs to Aaron, Spencer and Nathan, who really went the extra mile. We were especially impressed by the the thought that went into this challenging job, and the house came out looking really great. My mom was especially concerned about having bulkheads all over the basement, because one of the benefits of infloor heating is no need for bulkheads to cover the ductwork. Remarkably, Spencer figured out a way to run the ducts so that the main basement living space doesn’t have any bulkheads, and any bulkheads he did put in were in more service-oriented rooms.

We would be very happy to use MTC Contracting again (and in fact, are, on another small job.)

MTC Contracting came to my rescue when an exterior wall failed on my Pine Lake property in 2020. Maroun and his team did an excellent job to keep my garage roof intact while they replaced the entire exterior wall of the garage. They followed this up with repairing other portions of my property and then in 2021 residing the entire house. They did this work quickly and with great skill and care. This year they are doing some interior work for me. I highly recommend them for any exterior or interior renovation work in the Red Deer area

MTC Contracting installed tile in our kitchen on the floor and backsplash. They also did misc. Other jobs including plumbing changes to accommodate new sinks, preparing counters for new quartz and investigating a potential leak. The workers were all friendly, and the quality of the work was excellent. We were very happy with the job.

I recently wanted a new dishwasher installed. I called Maroun and he immediately came. In the process there were plumbing issues, water leaking. Maroun and his team fixed it quickly and at a good price. I have had many renovations done with MTC contracting and have enjoyed my experience. Very patient, reliable and Flexable. MTC Contracting are the most professional people in the town. I recently moved to New house but needed some renovations. So I contacted Maroun and he did 3 bathrooms renovations, kitchen renovations, roofing, deck and they finished everything less then 2 weeks and Maroun also helped us with our old house renovations with kitchen, installation of dishwasher, bathroom vanity, floor and toilet. Maroun and his crew did a great job. They changed all my water lines, insulated my basement walls, replaced bathroom fan, rerouted my sump discharge to outside and fixed my drywall.

We found ourselves in a very stressful and confusing situation while trying to deal with New Home Warranty over a claim from an envelope failure. Our house was built by Laebon 4.5 years ago, since then we had an envelope failure which costed 14,200 to fix, and just recently our detached garage flooded from yet another poor Laebon job, due to incorrectly installing the damp proofing, and no weeping tile! Since we have met Maroun, he has been very knowledgeable to deal with, able to answer any question we have, and give honest advice for anything we may be thinking about. We ended up getting fully covered after a 9 month fight with the New Home Warranty mainly because of the fact MTC did the repairs, New Home Warranty Policy states that the home builder must do the repairs, but they recognized MTC as a qualified builder and Fully reimbursed our repair costs. Just last week we got the detached garage repaired. MTC gives fair quotes and stays under his quotes, even though a couple little things came up with the garage. HIGHLY recommend contacting him for any size job. Since he completed the repairs to our home we have had an 8’ X 6’ sign in front of our house, THAT’S HOW HIGHLY WE RECOMMEND HIM!

I first heard of Maroun and MTC Contracting from a neighbour who was looking at getting work done on a fence. Since we needed to have ours redone as well MTC was available to do it all. Maroun got back to us quick with pricing and was always available for a quick phone call update or to discuss the project. Once the rain let up and they could start work I immediately could tell the end product would exceed our expectations. Maroun and his crew were quick working and very professional. The fence looks great and was done properly. You can tell it will last.

MTC also went above and beyond with not only grading the back yard as discussed, but also did touch up work in the back alley to allieviate drainage issues. They also patched up an older shed on the property to give it some more life. Finally, they made sure the grass looked great and resodded any affected areas.

I would recommend MTC for any residential fencing project, and I am confident they could help with any other renovation project as well.
