Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill

I can't say enough about the fantastic experience I had at this Mucho Burrito location! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile from Nancy. The staff here goes above and beyond to make your visit memorable.

My husband order from burrito bowl tonight, for me, and we had our food delivered to our home. I ordered spicy chicken w/ just black beans, other stuff and for extra cilantro in Buffalo sauce; no rice
What arrived was the minimal amount of black beans, NO chicken, NO extra cilantro. The extra cilantro I can deal with but the no chicken!?
Why do stores think they can get away with less effort and ingredients just bc we order online to be delivered. Our money is just as precious either way and I think people rate even harsher when we are not given what was asked for, not demanded, not rudely told to give it to us but a simple order. The seller should treat every order as if we are staring back at them through their plexiglas from our armchairs.

The staff are amazing here. I’m always greeted with a smile and they are quick and efficient. I can’t say that about a lot of other fast food restaurants.

Im rating solely on the cleanliness of the Crowfoot location. I work in the area and have been twice, thought maybe the establishment was short shifted so cleaning took a back seat, went back to give it another shot, WRONG. Tge mens bathroom has what appears to be extensive black mold coming from janitor closet, sink and toilet look like they hadn't seen cleaning supplies and a scrub brush in a year. Overall very concerning how dirty it is.

My husband came in at (April 17th) 930 to get dinner for us. The lady who was serving him did not notify him that there was only enough for one meal. She proceeded to be very snippy and angry with him when he asked for meat on his bowl. She told him there wasn't any. My husband proceeded to say he didn't want the bowl if there was no meat. She got angry at him and was extremely rude. He felt very upset leaving as we use this store frequently and are regulars. We will be going to another establishment next time, because he felt like he was poorly treated.

**The health dept needs to be called! *** Understatement! I've NEVER experienced a dirtier place to walk into! We did order because we were really hungry but will not be back again at this particular location!
First, the front door inside & out were dirty with hand prints.
Every surface, I mean every surface was caked in dirt! I've got pictures I'll be posting.
Then, staff, 2 ladies seemed very unhappy and almost too the point of rolling her eyes. Impatient for sure.
For the rice, she was scraping the bottom of the bowl with hard crust.
Got our order and receipts are just flowing out of the machine without putting them away.
Each table was literally dirty and smeared with crumbs and the seats were extremely dirty to sit on but also where you place your hands to move the chairs, each one was black on each side. Eeewww! Ripped seats and dirt everywhere. The chairs are misplaced and the floors were the worst I've seen. Extremely dirty like they haven't been cleaned in several months. One bathroom was out of order and the trash can behind the counter is overflowing with garbage. We felt extremely dirty just standing there.
So, with that said, how was the food? How was it prepared? Is it safe to eat?
When we asked if she could clean off the table, she started to roll her eyes, came over and sprayed windex that hit the seat, was in the air and she left it wet.

Oh, one seat had a foot print on it and Trust me, I didn't go in! Where they prepare food they did not wipe it off clean. Gross!

It has gone so far down the hill with the food quality it's sad. The rice is so hard, the "roasted" chickpeas are total not. I know roasted chickpeas I make them at home, these are just raw chickpeas I'll be sure to added a photo. The stir fry veggies are not full cooked, hell I don't think they even bothered. Honestly, I have to be done with this place. I have given its fair chance and now I'm just done. Don't waste your money. There is better places for fast food burritos and Mexican food.

DO NOT order from this location. My son ate there on Saturday September 24th and ordered a chicken burrito. Several hours later was throwing up profusely throughout the night and is sick in bed today. Eating at this location was the only thing he had to eat so it is a clear sign that he got food poisoning from poor food safety. I called the manager on Sunday the 25th and he proceeded to avoid any responsibility and said that all the customers would have food poisoning if it was his establishment. Just because others did not phone in does not mean no one else was affected? There was no apology just any means to deflect from taking responsibility. I told him I was calling the city of Calgary food inspection department to have this Crowfoot location investigated for unsafe food handling and he said that was fine. BEWARE - DO NOT EAT HERE.

Do not eat here! When my boyfriend and I went out to dinner on September 24th, he ordered a chicken burrito. Later that night, he experienced stomach pains and vomited nonstop until the early hours of the next morning. He is still ill today, September 25th. Restaurant management were informed of this, and were rude, and disclaimed any liability. There was no apology. It is made clear that food safety and its importance is not practiced at this location. Shameful!

Awful customer service. Will never be going back there. Server with such attitude. I think his name is Ricky or Vicky. They were out of the fajita vegetables which is part of their bowls, so I asked for an extra topping instead and he made it sound like I was trying to get food for free. Very abrupt and truly unprofessional. You think you are going to have a pleasant meal and instead you have to deal with this. Really unfortunate that they hire staff who does not know the basics of customer service.

Worker did not care or know which options were gluten free. Found out when I got home that the meat he said was gluten free wasn't.

I am vegan and they asked if I wanted burrito sauce, I said no and she literally covered covered entire meal with it. I HATE wasting food so I gave it to my boyfriend and it was basically just green peppers with some rice. I've been to so many locations in Calgary and not had an experience like this so unsure what is going on.

The person who served us was excellent: she was very fast and pleasant with an endearing shy smile.

Normally love mucho burrito, but I ordered online and more than half of it was rice.not so impressed.

Great food and service, but this place is filthy. The bathroom was legitimately dirtier than nearly all gas station bathrooms I've been in. And the rest of the facility was obviously not being cleaned regularly with any kind of diligence. I won't be back to this location.

Normally we have a really good experience at this location, we love coming here because it is healthy and there are gluten free options.

Last time we were here I was very disappointed with our experience. We ordered burrito bowls and it was relatively busy. We were rushed through the line and the lady working seemed irritated. They were running out of toppings at the counter so instead of going to get more, they just gave us less. My bowl was less than half full at the end and I still paid full price. I asked for chicken and got a few dry pieces that had been left at the bottom of the container.

I felt that the service here was awful and the employees cared more about getting through the rush quickly than putting any effort in. We will be less inclined to come back here.

Worst service ever, I don’t recommend this place to anyone and serving size is very little as compare to other Mucho Burrito’s.staff has no customer service skills.

Pretty good food but I find to be the consistency of the size or the burrito I ordered a mucho and it was a good size but the guy behind me orders a mucho and its 3 times the size kinda makes me feel like I wasted some of my money honestly

A coworker of mine called and told me about how she just heard a manager yelling and screaming at one of her staff within earshot of the whole restaraunt that she would be quicker if she wanted to keep her job. Just based on that alone i will never attend this restaraunt if thats how the staff are treated. I dont need to know what the food tastes like to tell you that this is a bad place.

We have enjoyed meals at various mucho burritos and was hopeful that this one would be good as well as it was very busy.

Sadly the food was passable but the service was the worst I've had at this chain, right down to being out of tortilla chips at 6: 10 on a Friday night. Really what Mexican restaurant runs out of tortilla chips at all let a alone in the middle of the Friday dinner hour?

With all the choices for food in the area we will choose some place that cares next time.

The food is good with simple selections. The produce is quite fresh and if you're looking to add some extra spice to your meal, they have an ample selection of sauces to add to your meal!
