Avoid at all costs! Excuses about why several ingredients not Ready or available. So asked for small discount but denied! If at Deerfoot City, go to the awesome Food Lodge Or just pick another location if you must do this chain.

My daughter & I come here once in a while, and never have I had bad service until last night I have the receipt and picture of the half hour cheese nachos we ordered and couldn't eat. The lady who forgot about them was in the back on the phone and even ruder when we asked how much longer. Everyone else had already eaten? The bachoels weren't even edible with the runny sour cream poured over the cold nachos. Waste of money- it was how rude she was after that upset me more. I would like to hear from
Management! We used to like coming here we will not return!

Worst place and pathetic service. Mucho burrito was my favourite restaurant before but not anymore. I have been to this restaurant few times, first time i came with my family they don't even give you half bowl for 15 bucks.last time I got veg burrito and girl behind the counter was so rude and after getting 4 little scoops of toppings she said we just put 4 toppings and i was awware that they charge extra for toppings which was totally fine.but they should atleast be generous with their toppings otherwise you are loosing your business

I went in today for lunch and there was was one employee working. I totally understand that this is not "fast" fast food, but to start off she did not even acknowledge me or tell me that it will just be a moment when she was helping the customer ahead of me. When it was my turn to order she didn't ask what I wanted, just looked at me. They have a large advertisement for their new chicken tinga, so I pointed to it and asked for the chicken tinga bowl. She clarified and asked me if I wanted it in a bowl or burrito so I confirmed the bowl. She proceeds to ask me what I want in the bowl (protein toppings etc). I was confused so I pointed at the advertisement again and said the chicken. It was clear there was a bit of a misunderstanding when we got to the toppings as she kept asking what I wanted for toppings and I said the toppings that come with the bowl. When it finally became clear that I was still asking for the chicken tinga, she said "I'm sorry but we don't actually have the chicken tinga". This was just incredibly confusing because she confirmed that I wanted the chicken tinga when she asked if I wanted it in a bowl or burrito. I had also pointed to the advertisement several times and said chicken tinga clearly. I ended up paying full price (and more money than I had budgeted) for a burrito bowl that I didn't even want. If I knew they didn't have the chicken tinga I would have chosen somewhere else to eat.

This store doesn’t even deserve for 1 star! The worst mucho burrito place in calgary! First of all the serving of everything is not same as other mucho burrito, its very less basically they wrap all rice, this lady who make our burito dont know if your the owner or not i really dont care anyway but attitude is the main reason why we dont want to support this location, she has an attitude to serve her customers i can let it go your portioning for the food but your attitude is the worst one, were here in canada the way you act your the riches person in the world you guys need to see this girl she has very long nails with extension while serving the food, you wannt you bussiness then be nice to each and every customers who step in to your store! The worst MUCHO BURRITO EVER. Supporting this store owner doesn’t deserve it!

Never go here. My salad looked full was deceived it was a salad on an ocean. Just say no to the salad.

Big portions and all ingredients looked very fresh.the only thing I would point out is the flavor of the ingredients, especially the rice, which was really bland.get this right and I will be coming for more for sure.

Horrible service and quality of food. My bf and I visited this location on July 31 around 2 pm. We ordered the build your own burrito. The server barely put any meat on mine. Then the TWO servers together put together a virtual order before my bf got to order. When he finally ordered, the server neglected to put on veggies when he asked. The food was not on par with other locations. We won’t be back to this location.

Mucho burrito Shawnessy is our regular stop and it never lets us down. Wanted a shrimp burrito, out of shrimp. Decided to play it safe and had a chicken quesadilla, with a side of medium salsa and mango salsa. Everything was mostly tasteless. The quesadilla had a few black beans, some chicken and a bit of cheese, not enough cheese to stop all the ingredients from falling out. Without salsa which was nearly tasteless, the quesadilla tasted a bit like toasted wheat tortilla, that’s it, otherwise tasteless, chicken no flavour, black beans no flavour, cheese no flavour. Disappointed for the $15 price tag. My wife says her burrito was ok but she preps hers differently.

Every restaurant like Mucho is a bit of a toss up when it comes to how generous the staff is with the portion sizes but this was the skimpiest Mucho I've ever been to. When you're charging this much for fast food Mexican you at least hope to get a decent portion of food, but that isn't the case here. Country Hills location is a better bet.

I love mucho burrito but it's been over a year since I've used this location. 3 days in a row I've left with a "mucho" burito that feels half the size of my usual location. Every portion seems half. You still get 2 spoons of chicken for example, but it's not even flush with the spoon compared to the usual heaping scoops.

I wasn't planning on coming back in after the last 2 days but I went for the special today and got charged for guac on my muchos and was told it was because they were on special. That might be the official stance but it annoyed me enough to get me to write a review about the portion size.

Bottom line, it's still mucho burrito and will satisfy the craving, but you're going to get half the burito you're expecting.

Mucho Burrito is one of my go to quick and easy places to grab a meal that’ll leave me full and satisfied for hours. Unfortunately, everytime I visit the deerfoot city location I am left feeling hungry feeling ripped off with the ridiculous portions they put on my burrito bowl. Even when I pay for extra meat it feels like I’m getting a regular portion that I would at any other chain. Even when getting add on items such as beans, corn, etc, the portions are small and not worth the price. If this was a one time thing I would not be writing this review. However, this is sadly the occurrence everytime I visit. Management, please give your customers the value of food they’re paying for.

Mucho burrito has been one of my all time favourite today I had the worst experience I went to get a veggie bowl. The bowl was not even half full when I asked the server that I’ve got mucho many times and my bowls are usually to the top her response was this is the amount they give now! For $12 all you get is literally 3 spoon of food. Never going to visit again.

I love mucho burrito at other locations. This location has workers that hate their lives and don’t care about their job. Also, I have never had a mucho burrito this horrible … 3rd time now. Same result. Thought I would advise accordingly. Driest burrito, order a mucho? It’s just a regular size. Also - maybe smile that you’re making money instead of always being grouchy when someone is smiling back at you.

By far the worst Mucho Burito in calgary if you order the mucho size you get the same amount of topping as a small one. We will never return to this location what a ripoff.

I've been to multiple Mucho Burritos but none of them was bad except this one.
I ordered a burrito bowl and it turned out to be a kids bowl. Even it didn't taste that good.
So disappointing

Iam absolutely amazed of the quality and respect that this establishment has.the amount of fresh vegetables and sauces as well preperation the staff work for customers is fit for a king and queen. I recommend this to all family's and guests to try it out.you will see the full experience. This restaurant as well supports our community and our veterans of calgary. 5 star

The employee working was so nice and got our order sorted fast even though she was the only one working! I wish there was a tipping option on the machine or a jar

I go to this mucho frequently. Usually my experience is fine. I came in this evening and ordered a bowl. I was not offered vegetables and I asked why not. The employee said she would make some and I was cool with that. After I paid I was turned around and I turn around and see the employee putting old cold vegetables in my bowl. At the time I thought maybe these were the ones she just cooked. When I got home immediately I could tell these vegetables were ice cold. I am just shocked they thought it was a good idea to top my bowl with old ice cold vegetables. Be warned. The night staff clearly don’t care.

Much burrito seems to consistently disappoint with skimping on ingredients and not having stock of certain items. Haven't been to one in a year and already regret the decision, bar burrito is more generous with toppings the last 3 time I've been.

So it was about 12-15 $ per burrito and I just really tasted rice and burrito, there were other things in there but not enough to materially chang the taste. I dont really know if all burritos taste like that but for me it seemed pretty pricey for the result. It does seem like healthy food.

Hands down the best Mucho Burrito in the city! Great portions, awesome staff and always clean. I've noticed this Mucho's food is always fresh the meat and vegetables always looking and tasting great. Staff is really awesome too! Highly recommend coming in here!

Awesome food here, but we found on both occasions we went that our protein portion was lacking.

A little disappointed with my recent orders. I have been ordering around 9: 00-9: 30 which is pretty close to close, and each time my rice has a lot of really dry pieces that are rock hard. It would be nice if the old rice was removed throughout the day or near close, so that I am not having to risk breaking a tooth each time I eat one of your burritos near close.

I though it was MUCHO burrito not POQUITO burrito, the girl that made my food was so cheap, the other lady was ok:)

Amazing service. The ladies will prepare your meal the way you like it. We are both picky eaters so it’s nice to see how they can accommodate us each time with great food.

I went Mucho Burrito this afternoon and find this location the best in Calgary. Perfectly cooked. Even the girl working there was so nice and was good at her work.

Had catering done from the restaurant, the food and staff were amazing. Highly recommend this location!

One of all time favorite lunch spots. I'd have to recommend ordering the citrus & spice bowl. If you're feeling a little sweeter than the bold & beetiful bowl is for you! Always very clean and tidy in the restaurant. You just can't go wrong here. The options are endless!

I’ve noticed that the amount of filling you get in your burrito seems to be less and less every time and they still charge as much as they. Disappointed to see this happening

Not impressed at all. We ordered online using the mucho burrito online ordering. When I got here to pick up the order the lady argued with me that there was no order ready for me. She asked if I had used skip or door dash and I said no I used your online ordering site. She said again no there is no order here but I was insistent. We ordered 130 dollars worth of food for a group of us and it was already paid for. After speaking with her manager she finally found the order and then said it would be 20 minutes. Our order was placed almost a hour ago. Definitely won't be coming back to this mucho. Would recommend the crowfoot one.

Clearly this location has a lot of paid reviews. Went to this location the veggies tasted old and mushy. The green peppers had changed colour. Later when approaching the store. The owner was very rude. Leave aside apologizing she did not have basic customer service manners where instead she questioned the truth behind my complaint. I wish I could give this location 0 stars.

Nothing was prepared! I ordered my burrito and when I was asked what I wanted on it, I had to wait for the following to be prepared. Keep in mind this was 11: 45 am today.
No veggies- she squirted some oil in the pan, threw some veggies in the pan, swirled them around once and threw them on my burrito. YUCK

Second the charred corn was not charred. In fact it looked like it just came out if can of corn. So much for fresh.

After paying15 dollars for this mess I can promise we will never be back to your store ever.

The food at the Deerfoot City location disappointing. The last time I ate at Mucho Burrito it was really fresh and tasty. This time the chicken was really watery, veggies were mushy and the guacamole was terrible.

Rude staff and small portions. Lots of obviously paid reviews on this location, the comments are nonsensical and descriptions of the “ambiance” and “welcoming staff” have no relation to this mucho burrito.

It felt great going at this place. Very good customer service and food was fantastic. I will visit this place again.

I regularly stop buying some food here. I love the quick service and well prepared dishes. Never disappointing.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this great place. I am glad to say that it was a marvelous evening and the venue was indeed one of the reasons for that strong evening. Ordered Veggie Bowl for dine in. Quantity was too less. Bowl was not even half filled with all toppings. Even after asking to put more, server hesitated to put in. Waste of money. Bowl size is misleading. Always only half filled. Highly avoid.

I had an excellent experience at this spot. We liked the superb atmosphere and the menu. The staff are super welcoming. I’m content we ultimately decided to try this restaurant.

Did not get what I paid, and you can't even call them to get it corrected. So let me explain, we ordered the take home taco kit for 6, we have ordered this in the past and we enjoy it very much, normally from a different location. The quality was the same, but they neglected to include 2 or the 10 toppings with the order. The other thing that was frustrating is that the volume of food was significantly less than what we would get by about half, having ordered this same thing in the past. We also ordered the $15 family chips and guacamole, again the volume of guacamole was quite small, about half of what we got last time if that, considering it was $15 they are way or on that. Normally Ordering this same kit as a family of 5 we get dinner and some reasonable left overs for lunch the next day, this time we have a few tortillas wraps and barely enough toppings to scrape one taco together. This kit came with 16 tortillas so 2-3 each person, at $69.95 for the kit that's $4.37 per taco, if you order tacos by themselves the cost $12.50 for 3 ($4.16 each) that's a 5% premium in price for you to make them yourself, seems backwards. I tried calling them to see if they could correct the situation with the missing items and low quantity they don't answer the phone, it goes straight to a recording saying they are unavailable and to try back later (called repeated for an hour or so).

I loved my burrito. It was so so yummy. Girl did a good job today. I’ll visit it here again and i hope to get same service as today.

I’ve gone here on a few occasions, and the filipino lady is unpleasant every time. She seems bothered from the time you tell her your order right to paying. Working customer service myself, I know for a fact that if I ever acted towards a customer the way she does, I would be fired. The country hills location has staff who always make you leave with a smile, even if it’s busy, so I don’t understand why that standard isn’t straight across.

Every once in a while you get a break it up in a Mucho burrito is definitely filling. It’s a good fast food option and the service is relatively consistent.

Food was mediocre and portions are less than other muchos out there. Server can get some rest in between. Maybe one more person there wouldn't hurt.

This location is near my house so I go there often and absolutely love it. I wanted to try other locations around the city to see if they are equally as good, and nothing compares. We have tried three other locations and all seem to be dry and lacking flavour compared to this location.

The food always seems fresh and hot, the meat is so saucy and full of flavour, and the burritos are huge. They add tons of toppings compared to other locations I've been to! Great bang for your buck, if you love burritos you won't be disappointed by this location!

But, if I see that big Filipino woman, I run away immediately. She simply hates working there and serves food filled with anger and sadness

During COVID-19 times and with droplet/contact precautions, appreciated that they wore a new set of gloves between burritos and when handling food. Unfortunately, they were not wearing masks while preparing food which might have been better practice. Luckily, no one was coughing or sneezing (of course) which is most important. For some strange reason, I found my burrito to taste a little more bland, despite using the exact same ingredients as always, than other locations. Have to agree that there was a lot skimping on ingredients with rice being the unfortunate majority ingredient. I've been going to many various locations of Mucho Burrito in Calgary for years which is what i'm comparing to. Overall, not too bad but i'd advise using masks when preparing food at this time.

I tried this place once with a friend and I am hooked ever since. I enjoy the fantastic character and flavorful dishes and drinks. 5 stars.
