Mug Shotz Sports Bar & Grill

I’ve never been here before which is a shame. It’s like a cross between Cheers (where everybody knows your name) And the most amazing chicken restaurant you can imagine. It’s owner built and run I think they said they’ve been at it 17 years And they’ve been perfecting their chicken wings that long. The staff were friendly, and very good at making me a first timer feel very much at home.

Thank you Mugs for a great experience. I’m very surprised haven’t seen you on some of those cooking shows Hopefully we will soon. You’ve certainly got something to show off there.

We were from out of town and a friend recommended meeting them here. They warned us saying it was a dive bar (certainly not - I would say pretty standard pub). The wings do not disappoint! I was skeptical about having soy flavour wings but darn are they delicious. I was sad we didn’t take an order for the road. We also had the nachos which were next level. The chips are stood up rather than layered, then baked in a skillet. The cheese is on all of the chips and there was no lack of toppings. Some of the best nachos I have had. Now I will be stopping here anytime we are in Calgary! The one thing I will say is parking is terrible but regardless I would still make the stop

Had some friends invite me to go have half price wings on Wednesday. First time there. I almost didn't see the place. The exterior was not eye-catching or appealing. Got inside, the interior was similar. This is a blue-collar place, and for myself, this is where you find some of the hidden gems of a place to eat. The owner greeted me with a warm smile.
The server was awesome, and the wings came out and. SOME OF THE BEST WINGS I'VE EVER HAD! Mug Shot Salt n Pepper Hot wings was amazing! Had like 6 different flavours and the were all!
I love places like this because when you find them, the always seem to deliver on the food and staff. I will definitely go back! Any day of the week!

Everything here is great. Only reason it's getting 4 stars is due to parking. You have to try the wings!

The wings were the best bar wings I’ve ever had in Calgary. The size are reasonable. It was like 10 wings for $12. The crowd is a little rough and the place was a little hard to find because it’s not exactly were shown on the map.

It's a pub that specializes in wings and it doesn't disappoint. Good meaty wings, great flavors, for me the electric honey is only something I've found in MB so happy we have it here.

Great Wings! We had 3 flavors. Dill pickle, Whiskey Maple Bacon, and Mugshots salt and pepper.

Craving for wings? This is the place to go to. They have the best chicken wings in town. I promised-you'd love it too and you will not be going somewhere else!

We arrived, no signage saying we have to be 18+ (we were btw) but got kicked out cause we didn’t have ID. As we left we came across a sign that said no smoking within 5 meters of front door, yet the server that kicked us out was smoking within 1 foot of the door…. Hypocrite (see attached pictures)

Hands down BEST wings in YYC BABY.no really, they are big they are cook properly and so many awesome an delicious flavors! MUST GO

Dive bar with some wicked wings. My goto spot for Wednesday or Friday wing specials. The sour cream, onion and bacon wings are the bomb.
