My Legacy Park Sales Centre

I would highly recommend people to NOT buy a new build condo as there are a lot of false pretenses that aren't seen when purchasing the unit. For example, the condo fees are purposefully 'low' but once they clean their hands from the property, the homeowners are left holding a huge bag of debt and the condo fees thereby increase rapidly. The management company BR hires (Foundation Property Management), are also sketchy at best. They provided no financial audits and there is no reserve fund which they cannot answer for. As such, they have been swiftly replaced once the Condo Board was elected and quickly caught wind of the financial ambiguities. As others have mentioned, you can hear the upstairs do everything even though they aren't being loud. You can hear their conversations, walking, when they're using the washroom, etc. Between both Legacy Park 1 and 2, both times BR and Foundation Property Management have left the owners in a poor financial state once they have finished selling their building complexes. Thus, leaving the owners facing increased condo increases and or special assessments. There are SO many more reasons to not purchase a brand new building here, and the new Encore phase will more than likely have these same traps. Ask any owner between the 2 phases and they will report the same.

Property management is terrible. No notice on water shut offs, simple service requests like intercom change, elevator bookings get conflicts with others. No response to concerns.

Does anybody work here? After you give the deposit be prepared to never hear back from anyone. This has been a very bad first home buying experience, we will never use Remington homes again. Which is sad because the home was built okay but any deficiencies take forever to get dealt with. Maybe someone at you company can respond to this post and not take forever to answer your customers. All in all everyone seems less than interested in making sure your home buying experience is a happy and helpful one. The only good employee I've dealt with that was responsive was Margie and unfortunately after you give the deposit you are done dealing with here as the people who then take over don't really seem to care about you.

Also if you love to live in a literal sauna you will love it here. It is so hot in this building that people leave the building in the Summer just to cool down.

The heat has warped my floors and I was told that I just have to deal with it and hammer my floors down every so often.

0/10 would not deal with Legacy park

Legacy is a nice area we love our home but the people at Remington simply don't care.

Place is falling apart 9 months after possession in. Brand new building. Basement ceiling is leaking water like the titanic and they have no clue how to fix. Soundproofing is horrible. I can hear all my neighbours talk on the phone even when they are not yelling. Overall finished are pretty poor. Cracks are appearing on every window and door frame.

We purchased our first home at Legacy Park the day they did the launch for building 2000. We stayed overnight and we purchased a one bedroom unit. The staff were so friendly and helpful through the entire process. I am sad we couldn't stay, we have many great memories there! We had to sell to move back across the country, but even during the selling process the staff were amazing!

I am 22 years old and I have currently just paid my down payment on my new condo at My Legacy Park in their second phase. Brad Remington Home’s has produced an amazing living experience for Legacy and young buyers like me. In accompany with a great living experience they have used high end finishings, strategic building tactics to increase a bigger feel in smaller space, and accomplished the best price per square foot on the market. Brad Remington and his team are working very hard to help younger people like myself be able to afford a home with great amenities and comfortable living.
My experience going through the process of purchasing a condo at My Legacy Park II was a very exciting and easy experience. They took very good care of me and helped me be fully informed and not leaving anything out that I needed to know.
I highly recommend having a look and My Legacy Park II and other developments of Brad Remington homes. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely horrific experience! Do not buy anything from Brad Remington! It has been a nightmare since I moved in. They have refused to fix any deficiencies in my condo even though they are obviously made by the contractors and trades during construction. In fact, I had them play the blame game and actually call me a liar and infer that I had caused the damage even when there are other people who noticed the damage on my possession. The quality of construction and sound proofing is terrible. I'm on the top floor and I can still hear everything from my neighbours. The finishes are cheap and window coverings inadequate. There have been ongoing security issues as Brad Remington didn't install effective security doors or parkade entrances. The design of the condos is horrible - can you imagine getting a bathroom without any towel racks? The worst is that the Brad Remington group refuses to acknowledge or deal with any of the issues. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! They pass the buck and take zero responsibility for anything. They DO NOT stand behind their product.
Whatever you do, don't buy homes or condos from Brad Remington. You'll have nothing but regrets!
