Door Dash Order …. Ordered 3 Large smoked meat sandwiches and 2 Poutines … Love that Montreal Smoked meat I was missing from Montreal. Poutine was excellent lots of cheese and just the right amount of Gravy. My only comment is to offer more fatty slices, that’s what we love about our Montreal Smoked meat shops …. Other than that totally satisfying… from a person who knows good smoke meat.and poutine. Recommend highly!

Classic old deli vibes with simple good food. Montreal smoked meat is sliced just before assembling the sandwich. The result is moist flavorful meat! Pickle is crisp and slaw is just the right side. The poutine is loaded!

The smoked meat poutine is delicious, it is my wife's obsession. I loved the traditional smoked meat sandwich, get it with a coke, some fries, and a pickle on the side, and that's a perfect lunch any day for me. The people there are also always super nice, extremely friendly, one gentleman always works there has a great welcoming smile and attitude. Highly recommend coming here.

I grew up in Montreal and always on the lookout for tasty fare that reminds me of home, though I am very particular about authenticity. Here, we have a smoke meat sandwich that meets my expectations. They bring the meat in from Montreal and the proof was in its tender juiciness. The rye bread was fresh and slightly sour which is perfect. The house made slaw was light with a slight tanginess and complimented the sandwich beautifully. The secret to a good Montreal poutine is in the double cooked fries and a tangy, medium weight gravy that is poured on piping hot. On this front, Myhre’s fails. The fries are good, but the gravy is too thin, too little and was clearly not hot enough. If the cheese ain’t stretching, the gravy ain’t hot enough. Overall, a good meal but improvement needed on the poutine.

Hands down one of the best deli’s I’ve ever eaten at, the sandwiches were stacks, so flavourful you can tell they use all of the freshest and best quality ingredients. Bring your appetite when you eat here, you’ll be stuffed. The poutine is even top tier they layer them with cheese curds every bite is so flavourful. The gravy is also vegetarian making it friendly for everyone. I highly recommend the Tribeca sandwhich, it was absolutely unreal. Thank you Trinity and Andre at Myhre’s for being so friendly and creating THE sandwhich will definitely be eating here again.

The food here is fantastic. Very high quality ingredients and they clearly take a lot of pride in their food. The Brooklyn Reuben was one of the best sandwiches I've had and the same goes for the Nathan's Famous hot dog. The staff is very friendly as well.

Excellent colesaw that's got real flavour & fairly good poutine, however my smoked meat sandwich was tough in spots hence the lower rating.

I had a medium sized smoked meat sandwich, a poutine and a birch beer. The sandwich was good. The poutine was cold. The bill was $29. Never again.

So sad to say this poutine let me down huge. I had really high hopes since they specialize in it. Sorry guys, can't say I'll be back.

I love food from Montreal/Quebec and having lived in Alberta for a couple of years, I was really missing the good food that we have over there, So I was looking forward to getting that experience again but in Calgary.

The Quality of the food was very nice, my tuna melt wrap was very satisfying, the coleslaw salad is very light and healthy.

The Quebec all dressed hot dog I got was very good but it was not very authentic, first of all where I'm from all dressed is made with relish, mustard, choped onions and coleslaw and in mine there was no mustard or chopped onions at all. Secondly usually our hot dogs are called "steamer" because they are steamed and so is the bun, but the bun while being excellent gourmet style bun it was not steamed or grilled so a big missed opportunity here when the sausage is warm but the bun is not.

Finally the poutine I got was probably the most authentic item, it was a very good poutine but the gravy was very thin, we usually use thicker gravy and a little more gravy overall, the cheese was excellent squeaky cheese like you would expect and the fries could have used a little more cooking to reach that golden crisp a little more.

All in all, it was a Great experience and I was satisfied with all my food, it's almost like they turned my typical Quebec junk food into a more gourmet experience and with a couple little tweaks I feel like this location could be a 5 stars deffinately.

I recommend this Restaurant.

Absolutely love Myhres Deli. Its a Calgary icon! Fantastic food, great service and location. We got the Traditional cut and medium poutine and that fed both of us.

First time here and I tell ya, for a little hole in the wall this is by far the best place for a smoked meat sandwich. Ladies- half cut is all you need. Men-just go for whatever, it's ALL good. And the staff are VERY friendly and accomodating.

OK, so I have to change my original 2 stars review for 4 stars! I called and spoke with an employee after my first review as I was so unhappy. He promised to make it up and he sure did. I came back today and it was really good. Extra gravy on the side to be safe but it was good as is. Curds were fresh, gravy was excellent.

Dry and gravy-less baked potatoes with cheese.disappointing. This "poutine" had French fries that are not actually fried and there was about 5 mL of gravy in the whole poutine.the only positive was the cheese curds. Pretty bad for a retaurent that claims that they specialise in skeptical Montrealers. I'm from Montreal and I'm not impressed at all!

Delicious poutine and smoked meat sandwiches, and a nice chill place to sit in. Quite expensive these days though.

Hands down the best poutine in the city and the best smoked meat sandwich in the city. Super impressed by it all. The staff are there to help you out with the menu and are always aware of your water levels. Just an amazing place with amazing people 10/10. Just wish they were open for longer: , (

It was my first experience here and I know for sure I will be coming back. Brad was so generous and delighted to have us there. The food was amazing, an authentic poutine and delicious pesto chicken sandwich. This place has the atmosphere of a deli and café from New York City, best sandwiches in YYC.

Always delicious. It seems to be over looked for its neighbour you're missing out if you dont try their amazing sandwiches!

Being from Montreal, this is the closest place I've found so far in Calgary for authentic Smoked Meat and Poutine.

Really nice place! Great service! The poutine was perfect, nice gravy, real cheese curds and just right on the salt.

The sandwich was very nice, great meat portion and the bread was perfect.

The coleslaw was special, it has some garlic! Fresh and crunchy. The pickle was really fresh and crunchy as well.

Seriously so incredible I've had nothing but the classic Montreal smoked meat sandwich but today I tried the western one! I want to come here once a week for a great simple delicious meal that I'm drooling over all the time.

Chose the grilled Rueben. Loaded with pastrami, tangy Sauekraut, Swiss cheese, & keen’s mustard. Absolutely delicious. Will be back.

I haven't eaten their in a long time. But I find it's the best Montreal Smoke meat in Calgary. However my only concern is the maybe the small fries is expensive as a substitute for chips. I mean $4.50 is like $5 for fries added on to a Reuben Sandwich for $13.75. And Large fries are $6.75. And then you tip after. I think the price for small fries should be reduced to $3 unless you order it just itself.

I’ve been to the eastern USA and I would put this sandwich up against any In NYC. Absolutely unreal.

Their Montreal smoked meat sandwiches are unreal! Seriously the best I have ever had. Got the traditional sandwich that comes with coleslaw and a pickle. Then had an order of “small” fries that were huge. This place will for sure be a new go-to place.

From Montreal and I was ecstatic to see a new Smoked Meat place and it is by far the best in Calgary! I have recommended this to my family and friends in Montreal while sitting here eating! Its authentic from types of cuts to mustard varieties. Will be here often!
