Amazing and kind staff! Got a simple pedicure here and she made sure to clean my anklet as well:) The atmosphere was so pretty as well!

I’ve been here a few times before and always recommended friends and family to go because I truly loved the customer service and results of my nails. I usually go for more designs on nails and have gone for more complex nail designs in the past and they literally would do it to perfection however I don’t know how much has changed from the last time but the customer service and performance is just not the same, the detailing of the nail I was very unhappy about and they were well aware it wasn’t happy and it wasn’t what I asked for. I asked for more of a gold chrome instead got more black than gold which also shifts into green in lighting, this wasn’t the only thing that was bothering me but it was the main thing. I wasn’t trying to seem like a brat but I just expected better because of previous experiences and I left very unhappy and overall just don’t like my nails unfortunately even though I was excited for my appointment for a while.

Spoke to the owner, and all she to come again and get it “fixed” even though I asked 3 times while working to get it fixed and they said they can’t do anything wasted 3 hours of my time. And then offered me store credit as if I would ever come back, wasted my time getting crooked nails and a botched design. I asked for a partial refund and they refused knowing they messed up. Never come here don’t know what happened to this salon it used to be good.

I’m always treated very well and have never had a complaint about the services I was provided.

Terrible experience. Went in for a fill and I was rushed, and they did an awful job on the fill itself and on the color/design. I told them I wasn’t happy & wanted a new color, because it looked nothing like the picture I showed them. If they knew they couldn’t do it similar they should have told me instead of botching it.
They then told me I would have to pay extra if they re-did the color. I refused that offer and went up to pay.
They then charged me $80 when they originally told me it would be $55. Apparently an extra $10 because my nails are long, and $15 for the design I didn’t like.
I asked why they didn’t tell me these prices beforehand and they had no answer and just told me I needed to pay, which I did.
I asked for the manager to call me and they never did. I then called back twice and left an email, to give them a chance to rectify before posting on here, but I keep being told the manager will call me back. It has been a week and no one’s called me back.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. Did you know when you break a nail and you do a nail fill service that you have to pay extra for the tips of the broken nails? ! I had 4 broken nails and the lady charged me $10 extra for that. $2.50 per nail? ! What? Absurd. I’ve never had a salon charge for that before. I got told I would get a birthday discount and then never did and the lady didn’t file my nails after applying the polish. They weren’t listening to me at all when I was asking for a certain shape, ballerina- kept correcting me and saying coffin and then got annoyed with the amount of filing they had to do cause they didn’t listen to what I wanted to begin with. Also, the young man that was with her was walking around in his dirty socks which I’m sure breaks many Alberta Health and Safety codes. I’ve been getting my nails done for 10+ years and this experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I’ll be going to speak with the owner tomorrow.

I visited Nail It Salon after an awful experience at another nail salon. Lina was able to fix my nails to my preference without having to do a new set. Edit: I’ve been back to see Helen quite a few times now and she always does exactly what I ask for and finds a way to make my preferred short and simple nails look lovely.

I have never left a manicure half way through… the worst I have ever experienced. 4 nails bleeding excessively and barely even an apology. I will never go back

Just moved to calgary from toronto and made an appt at Nail it. All the team members were very sweet and nice, I was offered water and it came with ice and an orange slice! My nails were a complete wreck from moving etc so Mia didn't have much to work with lol but she did an amazing job. Mia was super friendly and professional. They have LOTS of colours to choose from! I will be back soon for a pedicure and I believe I found my new calgary nail go to spot!

ANNE PHAM the owner/manager was very RUDE and treated my sister and I so terribly when we simply asked about some product pricing. Shrugs and eye rolls.

I have been going here for years and had great experiences. Bebe and Enya are amazing. On my recent visit the owner Anna Phan treated us poorly and her lack of etiquette left me astounded. She lacks grace and decorum and should not be in the service industry. I wish it was possible to give half a star!

I've came here twice, both times I feel like I am a chore. I've had a full set, and a fill in. My French tips are uneven and I have polish on my skin.she was burning my skin. Left unhappy. Won't be returning.

I came in without an appointment and they were able to get me in immediately. BB did my manicure flawlessly! I had an awesome pedicure as well!

I live about an hour out of town but I do come to Calgary fairly regularly. Even though there are good salons where I live, I will continue to make this my first choice. Thank you Bebe!

Been going to this salon since before Christmas last year; though they are a little pricier, they make sure you are happy with your nails! Have been getting gel nails done, and Lan is very detailed, and takes pride in her work! It's always great to chat with her and the other staff! Appt necessary.

Edit: told them about the issue and they fixed it for me at no extra cost!

The lady who did my nails did it really fast which was impressive but when I went home I noticed that there were small areas that were not done properly ex. Left over gel polish not properly filed off, and polish not extending fully down my nail plate to the cuticle. Really happy with the design though, and appreciate then taking the time to get it right and making sure I'm happy with it.

Clean, stylish, professional yet fun and an excellent room to be quiet in, work whilst or chat with a friend during your session as you choose. This place really has thought of everything from excellent ventilation beautiful lighting and somehow an appropriate price despite being in what one might think a tourist trap neighbourhood. I'm happy to say that I was able to look past the barrier and ever since then I've been having my nails done here. Came in for a pedi and couldn't be happier. The treatment was superb, and staff were incredibly friendly and really took care of us. The technician even made my ugly toe look cute! Worth every single dollar spent, which wasn't much as their services are very well priced.
The real beauty, is all in the details. The entire establishment is spotlessly clean and organized. The toilet paper was nicely folded, soap smelled amazing, products used during the treatment were all new, clean and high quality.
I will definitely be coming back.

Best mani-pedi I have had in a very long time. Salon was very clean and organized. Staff was welcoming and very nice. They also gave me the best recommendation for hand cream & foot cream because I have very dry skin. An amazing experience and would encourage you to give them a try! So happy. I made an appointment for a nail fill. I get there, the lady who turned out to be the manager tells me that they cannot do nail fill on another salons set, I must get a new set (mind you, I asked on the phone if they filled other people's nails and they said yes). The manager was adamant that they would not do a nail fill, and that I could either get a new set or leave. I needed to get my nails done and didn't think I could get an appointment elsewhere so last minute so I accepted but let her know this was incredibly unprofessional to enforce this ultimatum on me. She then told me that she did not like my attitude and did not want to do my nails and that I could simply leave. The manager was totally unprofessional and her behavior was absolutely rude and uncalled for.

I never get my nails done so I was very pleased with my gel manicure. They took their time with my nails, I didn't feel rushed during my appointment. It's been about 1.5 months and the colour is still on my nails. I also loved the hand exfoliation and mask treatment after my nails were done. My hands felt like a million bucks!

The prices are higher than other places but the location is convenient and the quality of the nails is high. The studio is also very clean (which I find other salons lack) and has good staff. They even have a pretty bar area if you want to grab a drink during your appointment.

If you want to get a well done and detailed pedicure or manicure I would highly recommend you booking with Adriana. She is very very good and friendly not to mention how clean her work is, I absolutely love it! The place is very clean and organized

I got a Gold package pedicure done, Bebe is the one that did most of my pedicure and is super attentive and made sure nothing hurt and I was good the whole time. They always make sure they try their best to do the designs I come with. They take their time!

My sisters and I went here and they couldn’t have been nicer or done a better! Amazing work and beautiful atmosphere!

Nails were okay… but I left with multiple cuts on my fingers. I was sore for hours! You would think that for what you’re paying they would at least have experienced workers. Aside from the convenient location, which is pretty much their only plus, their pricing is just not worth it. Metropolish is a much better option in my opinion.

Booked me for an appointment only to make me wait for 30 minutes and took on other patients who did not have an appointment at that time. Why book someone’s time when you can’t honour it? Need to be more respectful!

The shellac manicure I had was done well. I was quoted a price of $40 and then noticed at the counter that the price was lower. I can’t remember exactly but it looked to be around $30. I was a bit surprised. I’m going to stop by again today to take a photo of the price list. The quality of the manicure was good but I felt ripped off in the end.

I went in today with no appointment looking to see if they could add nail stickers to a manicure and do it today as game 1 is tonight (yes poor planning on my part). They took me in right away.

My nail artist was attentive, always asking if I was happy (and I am).

I will definitely go back for a pedicure in the coming weeks.

If i could give this nail salon zero stars i would! It was my first time going there and the employees and nail techs are unprofessional and their service was terrible. The nail tech was very inexperienced and couldn't even complete a simple task like removing acrylics it took her an hour! Overall very disappointed with their service and the manager needs to be replaced she was so rude and has no idea how to run a shop very unprofessional person.honestly don't know how they're still in business

They really take the time to make sure that they are perfect and they last that way.they are a little bit more expensive to get exactly what you want but so worth it they do such a good job thank you for your time and effort

Really disappointed with my nails. The “technician” obviously didn’t know what she was doing tried to charge me extra for a “design” (glitter swipe on two nails for and extra $10 on top of the 70$ I was already paying). She scuffed my skin three times with her motorized nail file and didn’t get all the old schlack off. Didn’t touch my cuticles. I got my nails done 3 days ago and they’re already chipping due to the VERY light layers. Charged me through the roof for very subpar service. Will update once I call to see if they will fix it. As it stands: Not happy at all. Very disappointed.

I came at this place 2 times, the customer service is good but they didn't do a good job.first time when I came I asked for powdering and styling. They took more skin off of around my nails and made them bleed. And the second time I was like okay it happened this time it won't happen. Even I mentioned that I am the customer before so they can watch Extra. But this time the cuts were so much deeper that I cannot even wash my hands. They were supposed to the shellac after but they never did it and charge me for almost $70. This is ridiculous. I've never had this problem at other salon. The cuts are really deep on my nails and even finger, and it really hurts. I will never come back again to this place.

I've been here a few times when I was unable to book in with my normal nail salon. 2 stars because I think that they are generally overpriced. Plus, they charge you if you don't bring in your nail file from the last time that you were there. I feel that they nickle and dime you in any way they can. The only good customer service comes from the owner - otherwise the girls who have done my nails seem as though I'm inconveniencing them if I request anything different from what they want to do as well as they seem very impersonal. The quality of the nails is OK but not natural looking, they were extremely flat and almost pointed upwards. Won't be going back.

Only 3 stars for this place because despite it being very clean and organized, I had a girl who was obviously new and the job she did wasn't worth the price. She was very nice and I'm sure she will do well with a bit more practice, but I would have preferred an experienced person or at least a significant discount. My poor nails were not only so thick that I went home and filed them thinner over the whole surface and repainted them, but my middle 2 fingers on both hands HD the nails pointing upwards at an almost 45 degree angle! She really needed more practice I think. But I want to be clear that she was very nice and with some more experience I will go back to her.

Moved to Calgary from Toronto back in May and I’m very happy with my experiences at Nail It so far. I’ve had no trouble booking appointments over the phone and when I’ve shown up early they’ve had no problem starting my service earlier than my scheduled time. Rida usually does my nails and is always pleasant and quick. When I had a different technician on my last visit she was was equally as pleasant and fast with her work. (We also hummed along to Ace of Base together haha) thumbs up and I recommend Nail It to anyone looking for a gel manicure or a shellac pedicure.

Awesome experience everyone was so tentative, my nail tech was a little bit newer and had so much support from her team but also did an AMAZING job on my nails they can literally do anything. Also clean they give you your files and ask you return with them so they are using yours every time. Such a great atmosphere can’t wait to go back!

I had my nails done by Rida yesterday, I most say this is the best nails I have done in a long time, she is absolutely going to give you the best nails ever, I love this nails place they are so nice. Thanks for my nails again Rida, I am surely coming back.

Lan is a gem! She was super personable and is very detailed when she is working with your nails. She worked fast but was by no means just "finishing" a job so she could move to the next person which is what a lot salons do nowadays. I went in with my sister whose nails were not done correctly by another salon which caused them to crack her original nail underneath and Lan took very good care of her. She was careful and kept asking if she was causing any discomfort. Seriously this was a very good experience and we will be going back in the future!

I’ve been coming here for just about a year and I’ve always received amazing service. Any issues are always taken care of as soon as they are brought to anyone’s attention. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rida is absolutely amazing at what she does and never fails to deliver an amazing set of nails every time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality work.

PLEASE NEVER GO HERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND DAMAGE YOUR NAILS, AND LIE TO YOU. I went here recently to get a new set of gel nails put on. I asked for gel several times. Once I had sat down with the tech, she proceeded to put (what I now know to be) acrylic tips on my nails. As I had never had professional nails done I left her to it thinking she knew what she was doing. She then put on the acrylic gel telling me that she was doing it because it was better for my nails. I thought she was talking about the gel but it was acrylic. At the end, I was charged $15 for her to put some sparkly powder which I could have got at a craft store. After getting home later I noticed that my nails hurt really bad. I asked some friends if this was normal and they informed me that I was lied to and that I had not received gel nails but had received acrylic. On top of this, my nails were hurting so badly.
I went back to the shop and insisted they take them off and refund me. The woman who seemed to be managing that day was VERY aggressive and yelled at me a great deal. I thought she was going to HIT me at one point so I took the offer to remove my nails. When I went back to have them taken off, the tech doing it tried to tell me something at one point (I think that she was going to take a LOT of my nail bed off grinding off the acrylic) and the same agressive woman yelled at her in Vietnamese to be quiet as the tech immediately stopped talking to me and proceeded to work in silence from there on.
My nails are still recovering weeks on.

LAN has done my fills for the last two months. She does a beautiful job, I would recommend her for her skill with nails and she is very professional and lovely to deal with!

I have been to 2 other nail salons and both did a terrible job on my nails so I chose to go to Nail It to correct the other salon's mistakes.
Tram did a fabulous job on my nails.she has a sweet personality and is a perfectionist at her job. My nails look fabulous. Great Job!

I went to nail it salon yesterday for a friends bridal party.there were 8 of us and came into the salon in 4 different groups. The last three of us to come through were told the four different levels of pedicures and the costs of those. We all went with the Gold package, $40 for the pedi, and advised us that the rest of the party was getting shellac, this without disclosing the additional $21 cost. We all got our pedicures and when the last three of us went to pay he told us the $65 cost of the pedicure. We were all shocked. I asked why $65 for a $40 pedi and he then advised me that he told everyone in the party the additional cost for shellac. He sure shut his mouth when I said we didn't come in with the rest of the party and no he didn't tell us about the additional costs, he just told us that everyone else was getting shellac. They shouldn't assume that everyone knows the prices of pedicures and additional costs associated with those treatments. This was my third pedicure and to be honest the worst one.
My toes look nice, but I got the gold package to have my caluces removed. My heals are still dry and cracked.
All around not impressed. $65 pedicure and it wasn't even completed properly.

I do pedicures aleast once a month so I know how they are suppose to look. I went to this place since my regular lady was unavailable.

They're prices are ridiculous considering what you get.

Express pedicure $30 - foot soak, clip toes and paint on polish. I wasn't even allowed to use the toe drier machine becasue I "only choose express. "

Gold pedicure $40 - everything you receive at a normal nail salon.

It's a clean store w friendly staff, but the girl did such a horrible job. The nail polish was bumpy and unprofessional. And the pedicure was done hurriedly.

I told the manager I wasn't going to pay for this and she gave me a 50% discount, which was good.

These people are not professionals and are overcharging for horrible service. Don't go there.

Nice bright and clean working environment, everyone is so friendly, great customer service, making sure you are well taken care of asking if you would like a drink and most importantly making sure you are happy with the service provided and nails!

I went in about just over a week ago to get my nails filled, and a few days later noticed my left pinky was irritated, swollen and hurt to touch. Woke up the next day to it being double in size and green. I immediately ran to the clinic who informed me that if I’d waited any longer to come in, the infection could have cost me a piece of my hand. Ladies I am begging you not to spend your money here, I no longer have a nail on that finger as they had to remove my entire natural nail in order to get rid of the infection! Heavy antibiotics for the next month and hoping it’s gone by then.
The quality of the nails is nice if you get the right tech, but it is not worth their shoddy, if they even at all, sterilization techniques. I have multiple times witnessed the same file etc being used on more than one person without being sterilized.
Go anywhere but here, please!

The shellac manicures aren't as high quality as the gel manicures because their newer aestheticians do shellac. Been coming here for 6 months and I'm happy with the service.

Busy nail salon but fit me in for an appointment fairly quickly. Went in for shellac color and the it turned out very nice. No chipping before next visit which impressed me. Also the price was the best I've ever paid.

I go here on the regular and am always satisfied with the results. I always book with Rida. She is a true artist and always accepts any design challenge I have for her and knocks it out of the park. She also does the best shaping I have ever experienced in my many years of getting my nails done. She is effecient while still very detail oriented. You won't be sorry if you ask for her.

I just started going here a few weeks ago, this is my third set. I have been allergic to acrylic nails for years, and this is the first place I have been to where I can get gel nails with no cross-contamination. LAN has always done my nails and it has always had my best interest in mind. I recently went and got my nails done for my birthday and got gems on my thumb, they unfortunately fell off the next day but I went in and they fix them right away and have not fallen off since. The amount of care that they put into their customer service and their customers happiness is highly recommended. I definitely would suggest coming here.

Don’t go this place, terrible service, I was not treat fairly compare other customer. I guess because they look at how you dress, the bottom line is I did pay for the full price. What are idiot. There are lots of Nail Salon in Calgary, and better price and service. I strongly not recommend this place.
