The sushi sold on Thursdays and Fridays here, is my go to after a hard day. I recommend getting wakame salad and an icecream treat with it. This is a good place to buy Japanese cutlery, dishes, snacks, and frozen food and they have a great selection. Would highly recommend buying here rather than online stores, as Nakagama's is a locally owned and somewhat historical store.

An authentic Japanese shop tucked into downtown Lethbridge. Nakagama's sells food, cookware and gift sets among other things. I received a rice maker from Nakagamas for Christmas. It's the best rice maker I've ever owned! (See photo) Check out their website for other cookware, etc.

We found what we need in the store and most of the products are very artistic especially those tea pot sets. The shop keeper is very friendly as well. Highly recommended if you would like to buy a gift for your friends and family.

I came here with my wife to make a major purchase as I wanted to support local small business. We were the only ones in the store. I have a medical mask exemption, my wife wore a covering out of respect. I explained the Alberta bylaw allowing for mask exemptions, also that businesses discriminating against mask exempt customers are now being listed and may be subject to human rights complaints. The owners response was "I don't care. " I was denied service and asked to leave. They were very rude. Discrimination is an ugly thing.

Awesome little shop in the historic Chinatown area of Lethbridge selling imported Japanese goods and foods, including frozen sushi-grade fish and seas food (like surf clams). This is a great little local business to support!

Humble little store with a kind owner who is very helpful on order statuses and has a loyalty program! Unique items from other stores in Lethbridge includes some types of ramen, candies and dinnerware/decorations. They also have a small selection of Bosch products if that is your fancy. Will be coming back!
