Absolutely the BEST! I have been to many excellent injectors in different cities and Bev is the best of the best. She listens. She takes time to evaluate. The results exceed expectations. Also, unlike many other clinics they do not accept tips. This is a professional medical clinic. The staff are all warm and welcoming and highly trained. If you enquire, they will explain a procedure; but they do not try to upsell you. No need to feel nervous here, Their goal is genuinely to make you feel happy when you leave.

I am still really upset with the scarring and dark spots all over my face after years of laser I have gotten from Nakatsui ‘s office, I didn't leave a review at that point as I was told by using their bleaching cream will improve over time, after few years of using the cream, it has no improved a bit, very disappointed and I am so mad of my self why would I have trusted them, I paid 700 for the treatment and ended with a lot worst, he doesn't really care, no follow-up on my progress ever.

The best team - they are knowledgable, dedicated, and honest. They do not overcharge or up-sell you with fluff. I always appreciate my time here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nakatsui since I was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2007. I have had regular yearly check ups and Dr. Nakatsui has found several additional precancerous moles. As a rural patient, the clinic has always tried to accommodate my travel/timing needs. All of the staff at the clinic (including Dr. Nakatsui), are always very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Nakatsui Dermatology to anyone.

My very first visit yesterday and I was happy with the overall experience. Starts with a friendly and welcoming greeting from the receptionist. Then my nurse, Char went over a very detailed consultation and did a thorough examination of my skin and bone structure to give me her professional recommendation. I got lip fillers and she did a very gentle injection but I could tell she was doing a great job with the shape. As my first time I am happy I trusted her to do my lip fillers.

I’ve always had a positive experience at the Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre. Staff are efficient, polite and accommodating always striving to keep appointments running smoothly. There is an air of respect not only for patients but also between staff members. I’ve always felt they listened to my concerns and addressed issues promptly. I highly recommend Dr Nakatsui and his team.

Two laser hair removal appointments cancelled in a row (over a 6 week period). They call one hour before the appointment to stated it needs to be re-scheduled and then have no available appointments for re-scheduled. This place to have employees available to actually work or they shouldn't waste people's time. If a client cancels 1 hour before an appointment we would be charged but it's totally fine for them to do it with no repercussions.

A couple years ago I got 2 moles removed on my face because they were a big insecurity of mine, I paid $500 to get them both removed via laser but unfortunately they were really stubborn moles and kept growing back, I went back and they repeated the process 3 different times. They were great as they didn’t charge me for the repeat laser service but I’m disappointed that I still have the moles and I’m down $500

Finally, I found Keloid Injection in Edmonton area. Here, Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre. My first experience in Canada and it was awesome, good services and really helpful. Easy to make an appointment through their instagram at @nakatsuiderm. Thank you Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre.

I am giving Dr. Nakatsui's office three stars. Dr. Nakatsui has wonderful bedside manners, and is kind, caring, and professional. Likewise for all of his staff. However, I am disappointed with the results of a laser procedure that was performed by him recently. I visited Dr. Nakatsui's office to treat remnants of a port-wine stain. I expected it would be a routine procedure as I had previously been treated by his old partner. Bruising after this procedure typically lasts 10-14 days. After 6 weeks, some of my bruising still has not resolved. Concerned, I paid another visit to his office. Dr. Nakatsui told me that the bruising likely has not healed because the treatment he used was probably too aggressive. I was rather upset by this because I expect that dermatologists would have a good idea of how to adjust the laser powers to suit each patient's individual case/skin. Now my face is botched, and I have no idea when/if it will heal. I would recommend Dr. Nakatsui for a different procedure as I believe that he and his staff care about patient well-being. Additionally, it looks like other people have had good results from his treatments. However, if you are being treated for a port wine stain, I would go elsewhere.

I always have a great experience when I visit their office for any treatments. Every staff member is professional, polite, and always VERY helpful. I would never go anywhere else.

I been to Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre for hair removal & I had extremely peeling skin on my hands and feet, Dr N is very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is great! Would highly recommend.

Dr Nakatsui is just an honest, knowledgeable, professional, laid back and polite Dr who puts your worries at ease. He has been treating keloid scars on my back and chest for years.
He had a kind disposition and he is ama ing. I feel very good and safe having this wonderful Dermatologist by my side!
It’s also amazing how Dr Nakatsui has no wrinkles at all! I envy his skin!

If you are a person of colour I recommend that you stay away from this clinic. They have little knowledge and confidence when treating a person of colour and lack of experience relating to hyperpigmentation. If they recommend you their Dr. Groots #3 cream, I suggest you find another dermatologist. They only want to sell their products to you and have you bound to continuously lighten up your darks spots to eventually your whole face (which makes them more money). The nurses and Dr. Nakatsui will have completely different answers to the same questions. Again, showing that they are not on the same page and lack of certainty. Consultations seems to be rushed, especially if you look like you are not a middle aged caucasian person looking to drop money on botox etc. My only regret as a POC is that I did not go to a dermatologist that is confident and educated in hyperpigmentation and other POC skin concerns.

I have met Dr Nakatsui on a number of occasions and he is very genuine, he cares about all his patients, and wants the best for them. All the staff is so pleasant and easy to deal with.

I'm a long-time patient/client with Dr. Nakatsui and his amazing team and can say every visit is a pleasure. They are a very professional team of men and women who go over and above to ensure I have a positive experience and get the best treatment. Highly recommended!

I've been seeing Dr. Smith and she is wonderful! She truly cares about her patients and is so informative. I was having some issues with the medication she prescribed me and she called me back personally that very same day to make sure all was well. She also took it upon herself to call me a few days later to make sure I was doing ok. I absolutely recommend her as a dermatologist- if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

I was referred by a coworker to this clinic to look at a mole on my left cheek. They have poor customer service. I waited for almost two months for them to contact me. They said they called me on April 9,2021 and left a message which they did not. They also did not bother to follow up since then. I wanted to have the mole removed by June because I am going to a wedding and if they followed up like they should have then the procedure could have been done and over with by now. THANKS FOR NOTHING!

My experience was awesome! I was seen very quickly and the nurses were very good at explaining the procedure I would have done as well as Dr. Nakatsui. The treatment was done and I was thoroughly explained how to care for my incision. I would definitely recommend this clinic for any dermatology needs you may have!

Only professional, safe and great care when we are in the hands of Dr. Nakatsui and his team! During our last visit, we really appreciated the covid 19 protocol that were in place to make us feel safe during our appointment.

Dr. Nakatsui takes his time to listen to your concerns and is thorough on his assessments. For example, my husband had a bump on his chest that had been misdiagnosed several
times by other doctors. Dr. Nakatsui took a biopsy and sent out a referral to have the bump remove. We learnt that the bump was indeed a cancerous fibrosarcoma. Thanks to Dr N my husband was able to seek treatment early and in my opinion this saved his life! Hands down the best dermatologist and nurses!

Dr Nakataui is extremely professional, him and his team make my experience very pleasant, his clinic is very clean, highly recommend this place.

This is my true statement for Dr. Nakatsui. And it’s a long one!
A knowledgeable professional, honourable, kind, with unparalleled work ethic, always positive, not greedy, compassionate and so much more. But before all that he is a wonderful Human Being. And all these genuine qualities that he has as a person, professionally reflect on the team that is his clinic.
The receptionists: are always smiling, always trying to solve and accommodate the client's interests, if the phone call goes to voicemail, they call on the same day, time or, the next day. Always professional, kind, friendly, polite and attentive. They are the best front of the clinic.
Nurses: they have all the qualities of the reception ladies plus the knowledge, the interaction with the client. I know almost all nurses and I can easily say that they are all extremely professional, kind, polite, helpful they have a deep knowledge of what they will suggest to the client in relation to the cosmetic procedure or any matter.
And this is very important: nurses don’t receive a “commission” when the client decides to have a treatment.
By the own words of a nurse from Dr. Nakatsui “they have a more holistic approach to beauty“.
Because they don’t need to sell nothing. They attitude towards beauty, they approach to us and the results make us to come back again and again.
Like me for Redensity (just an example) this procedure change my life. When I said to Dr. Nakatsui he laughed. And I was so surprised in see him genuine laughed about it, I only saw before very stressful or “could care less” doctors.
Before I met Dr. Nakatsui I went to doctors who are respected professionals, please don't get me wrong, but I was just another “one” on today's list. The first question was: what is your budget for today? I had no idea what was applied to my face because nothing was explained to me and the name of the procedure was “clinic name”. The receipt did not explain anything and the total price, for the same service as dr. Nakatsui does I paid 60% or way more.
I understand that everyone has to earn money in their profession and Dr. Nakatsui is not a charity. But the prices that other doctors charging are extremely abusive. And I've been seeing dermatologist and cosmetic procedures for over 20 years.
I know what I'm talking about.
Besides, the environment at the other clinics, maybe because the management and the nurses have the pressure to “sell” is very hostile and stressful.
Dr. Nakatsui’s clinic is my Tiffany’s like the movies. Is such a calm, serene, playful, nice place to be almost like whimsical.
About safe procedure with Covid-19? Don’t worry. When you reach their front door you will think that you are in a sealed place. I never saw a place so safe and protected like Dr. Nakatsui’s clinic.
One day I was talking with a nurse about a stupid thing that I did with a pimple close to my lower eyelid. To my surprise Dr. Nakatsui appears to checked on me and he said that was too close to my eye and he can’t fixed the problem.
That wasn’t a big deal, so I decided to wait until I talk to my optometrist. Until one day I received a phone call from a eye lid specialist that want to schedule an appointment for me as a referral from Dr. Nakatsui.
And I was thinking that Dr. Nakatsui forgot about it. That phone call was amazing! Thank you so much!
If you read my review until here this is my resume: Dr. Nakatsui and his team isn’t your just “ sell and go” doctor. They are a team that are capable, knowledgeable, professionals, but genuine concern with every client. Because they care about you and there you matter, not your wallet: YOU. And this is priceless!

Was just told over the phone that a 3-5 minute procedure (botox injection in both underarms) would cost $300 (uninsurable).

At other dermatologists it is $150. Stay far away from this place.

EDIT/RESPONSE: I have had this procedure done over a dozen times, and it is painful. But numbing cream should not be required.

Furthermore, if numbing cream were applied, actual time spent with the patient would not exceed 15 minutes. And an assistant would apply the cream. You're charging $1200 per hour for this! That is insane (even by dermatologist standards). This fee is typically 100% out of pocket, are you not aware of that?

Every employee that works in this clinic are all awesome they giving each customer a great customer service. The nurse gave me a very good advice about the procedure on my upcoming surgery she’s really very knowledgable and professional. Dr. Nakatsui did the final assessment and explained everything about the surgery for my ear which is great, I have an idea now and I feel comfortable. Thanks and keep up the good work guys.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nakatsui's for well over ten years and have always been very pleased with my treatments, results and leave feeling like I received good value for my money. The staff members are all very welcoming and friendly and efficient, and I trust whatever advice they give me. Some places I have been to in the past have pushed me to consider other services in order to do nothing more than build their business, but no one here ever does that. If you want more information on something, they are happy to provide it but never pressure you to do anything you don't want to do. I plan to be with Dr. Nakatsui for many years to come!

My appointment with Dr. Nakatsui was a great experience. I was first spoken to by one of the clinics nurses and she went through all the options that were available to me for my condition. I was then visited by Dr. Nakatsui and he also went through all treatment options. I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered in a very thorough manner. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Very positive experience, the nurse was so helpful and kind. The clinic was so beautiful, and the doctor was very helpful, and intelligent.

My experience was pleasant and informative. I felt a bit of a sell job as the most expensive procedures were talked about first. I asked about the face cream that is promoted on the website and not sure I would have been told about it unless I had asked. Once informed about the cream, there was absolutely no pressure to change my mind and go with one of the talked about procedures, this I appreciated.

I have confidence in the expertise and experience of all the staff. They are professional, and personable. That combination equates to 100% satisfaction for me.

Dr. Nakatsui helped me with MANY skin related issues and I’m always happy with the outcome! He recommended and prescribed me with products that helped get rid of my acne and treat my dry skin/sudden eczema. Not only that, he is excellent at removing blemishes. Within 2 weeks he was able to remove an unwanted angioma that resided on a sensitive area of my face.
10/10 would recommend!

I had the procedure done it was quick and efficent however booking a followup apt was a nightmare.whenever i asked the receptioonist told me they were full for six months and i should come back.i tried and again was told they were booked up.but waiting in line they booked 2 people for the next day.i suppose once they have your money you have a hard time getting in.even though the followup would probably take 10 to 15 m in.sad

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Nakatsui and his staff. He is professional yet approachable and friendly. His knowledge has helped me with certain issues I have had with my skin.
I have also had cosmetic treatments from Dr. Nakatsui and he has really helped remove the veil of shame that is surrounded by male cosmetic procedures.

This is how service should be, everywhere! Honestly, I can’t say enough, the staff was amazing. From the consult to the procedure, everything went smooth. I was quite nervous even booking in, but they were so knowledgeable, professional and personable that they put me at ease right away.
Even though I was 30min late for my appointment, they called to confirm and when I asked if I should reschedule they politely said, we can fit you in when you get here. And they never tried to rush me out either.

My experience at the Nakatsui Dermasurgery has been great. I went in for a hair transplant consult. I spoke with Dr. Nakatsui’s assistant, Kelvin, and found him very knowledgeable about all aspects of hair loss and hair transplant surgery.
When first meeting with Kelvin you will find that he is in fact bald himself. He was very upfront with me and told me that hair transplants are all a matter of candidacy and supply and demand and that not everyone is a good candidate, like himself.
I appreciated his honesty. He made me feel comfortable when discussing this personally sensitive issue. Dr. Nakatsui must be confident in his results if he has a bald guy providing all of the consultations.
After speaking with Kelvin for a good hour about various aspects of hair transplants and seeing almost 100 before and after photos, I spoke with Dr. Nakatsui himself. Dr. Nakatsui assessed my situation and took a thorough history and, ultimately, at the end of the consultation he suggested that because of my younger age and the risk of future genetic hair loss, I should trial a medication like rogaine or propecia for about a year and see if the medication can slow down the hair loss and to ensure that I do not have any side effects. If the medications work then we can consider a hair transplant!
I appreciated that and I’m so very thankful that he did not push me into a surgery like other doctors I spoke with.
If all goes well and the medications help, I will be going with Dr. Nakatsui in a years time.
