Nara Chicken & Tonkatsu

Only had take out, so can't comment on service but this was such a wonderful treat. My boyfriend and I thought the chicken was amazing! The tonkatsu pizza was tasty! Can't wait to go in and actually try this place out.

Been going here since 2019 and my go to tonkatsu restaurant. I’ve tried other tonkatsu restaurant here in yeg but no one beats this one. I’m addicted with the Nara house sauce!

Such an amazing place, the food is so good and literally perfectly cooked every time. Staff is very friendly!

Ordered half fried chicken, curry tonkatsu, and cheese tonkatsu. Large portions, very reasonable price, attentive service. Tastes were impeccable, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Got a side of kimchi and pears too. Will definitely be back.

The food is made from scratch and it shows. Amazing chicken tonkatsu, the crispiness is amazing. Loved the cabbage salad, pickled daikon and kimchi. I also had the delicious Tokkochi. Their Korean donuts are nice and nit too sweet.

The presentation was great too.

I've had nothing but good experiences at this restaurant. They serve Korean and Japanese food. Owned and operated by a family. They provide exceptional customer service. I am always made to feel welcome whether I am eating in or ordering take out. Prices seemed a little high but the food is proportionate for the cost. Highly recommend this locally owned business!

Went to this place tonight for the first time based on the stellar reviews. I had the Cordon Bleu (Pizza Tonkatsu) and lemme tell you, I enjoyed every last bite! As soon as I took my first bite, I knew I made the right choice. The presentation was great, and the staff were attentive and polite. There's some nice music playing too for the extra aesthetic. I'm very pleased that I took the time to stop by, and will definitely recommend Nara to my friends. Thank you!

Tonight my wife and I ate at Nara. We ordered the Fried Pickles and the Nara Variety Chicken. I'll make this review simple. Everything was excellent. Service, cleanliness and of course, the best part, the food. We have no reason to not recommend this place. We'll be back.

Love their chicken tonkatsu, we usually buy here whenever we can't make home cooked meals.

I've been eating here for a few years now. My favorite is the curry tonkatsu, and also the soy garlic chicken. I'm extremely happy to have this close to home. It's been my go-to for a great rice curry and K.fried chicken. Lovely family that owns the restaurant and they put a lot of work into the dishes.
