Highly recommended! This is my go-to place for all my chiropractic needs. The moment Dr. Josip walks into the room and starts speaking with me, his knowledge, confidence, and professionalism makes me feel that I am in safe hands; and I fully trust his opinions and treatment plan. Besides, his pleasant demeanor, patience, willingness to listen and to answer all my questions always create an atmosphere of comfort and assurance. I’ve known Dr. Josip for a long time but recently I saw him in a crisis when I hurt my back. I was in serious pain, could hardly move, sit, or change position but Dr. Josip quickly got me back to normal. I saw him three days in a row and my body felt much better after each visit. At the end of day 3, I was fully functional again!
I should also add that the staff are super friendly, nice, and caring! They always make me feel appreciated. And one last thing: I admire and value the staff and the doctor himself for their excellent time management. Those in pain know exactly what I mean!

Laura is so thorough with her massage technique I'm surprised how well I feel when she is finished and how connected I feel also.

Dr. Gord has been such an instrumental part of my recovery journey since being in a car accident. His chiropractic care and attentiveness has helped significantly improve my overall well-being. National Spine & Wellness is the place to go for any kind of injury. They were recommended to me after I was involved in a car accident. The cool thing about them is that they offer chiro, physio and massage all in one building. The three individuals that have been helping with my rehab (Gord, Karin and Tom) work as team and put their heads together to figure out what the best path forward is.

Everyone at this clinic is very knowledgable, professional, and kind. I have been seeing Tom Rule for a few months now, and it is so nice to have finally found a massage therapist that is willing to do whatever it takes to solve your problems and get you to be pain free again. He's great at fascial release, deep tissue work, recommending exercises, you name it - he does way more than your typical "relaxing" massage. Also, I am a woman and I have always felt 100% comfortable in my massage sessions with Tom. He's truly the best!

Dr. Josip is humble, caring and takes legitimate concern for any issue.

I have seen over 6 different knee specialists over the span of 2 years and have had no results or progress. After mentioning this to Dr. Josip during a routine chiropractic appointment he took immediate concern and ordered me the necessary tests. The results show I have 2 partial tears and without this test I would still be at square one.
I now have more testing in the right direction with possible surgery.

I am so thankful for Dr. Josip for not only taking action on an issue that was different from the reason I came in but for also explaining the process and answering all of my questions. I finally feel like I am getting somewhere with an issue I felt hopeless on.

I’ve now had my second session with Laura Mahe, and not only have I noticed massive improvements in such a short time with my strength, balance and range of motion she also has a wide variety of techniques including the lymph release. Which cause my muscles to relax and improve circulation while also making them feel incredibly light but the best part is that it is pain free, just a slight tingle in a couple pressure points and boom they are like brand new legs.

Massage and osteopathy with Laura was both comfortable and beneficial. She has helped me to achieve quite a bit more pain free mobility. Professional, personable and an overall good experience.

I have seen Gord McMorland and Thomas Rule and have had great experiences with both. They are both very knowledgeable and they genuinely care about their patients.

Tom Rule is absolutely amazing as a massage therapist. I've seen several across the city and he is by far my favorite. I have followed him to 3 different clinics, worth the drive every time.

After being hit by car, with injuries too numerous to mention, my physiotherapist felt Dr. McMorland could help improve my mobility and compliment by rehab program. Dr. McMorland was able to help me increase my hip mobility in our first session together. He continues to work with me to improve my strength, mobility and movement patterns.

I highly recommend National Sport & Spine. I see Katherine Edgecombe, who has not only been fantastic in fixing up my aches and pains, she has gone out of her way to refer me to another chiropractor to treat my post concussion syndrome and vertigo. She cares greatly for her patients and is dedicated to their care and best interests, even if that means referring them to another office.

My husband also sees a practitioner at National Sport & Spine and has had great success with his treatment there.

Dr McMorland’s deep professional expertise, combined with his ancillary practitioners, such as physio and massage therapists, has been helpful for this aging athlete’s joints. Appreciate his candid, practical approach. The clinic is very well organized, with competent and friendly admin staff, operating on time, every time, with ample free parking out front.

They are AAA. A1 service. Both (Edgecombe & Kaufann) are super educated, intelligent and knowledgeable.

If you’re looking for a physiotherapist/miracle worker, Lindsay Fraser is the woman for you. I’ve been seeing Lindsay for a few months now.prior to meeting her I had slipped my L4-L5 and my L5-S1 during an accident at the gym and was left unable to walk for 6 days and in the hospital for 9. Because I was 24, the doctors told me that surgery was not an option unless physiotherapy does not work. I was recommended to Lindsay thru a friend and boy, was I not disappointed at all. Lindsay did an incredible job of getting me in for my treatments and tailoring a program based on my needs. She effectively got me moving on my own and was able to transition our visits from weekly, to almost monthly now. She also worked with my coach on my workouts and incorporated movements each week to get me back to where I was before. During our in session appointments, she would manually work on the problem area and I left almost every session feeling immediately better the next morning. Fast forward 5 months and I’m back to Olympic Lifting, walking on my hands and doing movements that I never thought I’d be able to do again. I attribute a huge chunk of my success to Lindsay and the work she has done. The Spine and Wellness Clinic is lucky to have someone like her on their team. And I am very, very grateful to have met her. 11/10. Would definitely recommend.

Cindy Zhang is a magician. She explains the root cause to you, prepared a plan and then starts the execution. Thorough professionals. Provide you with all the information that you need with a near accurate timeline for recovery.

This clinic is super professional and the reception staff are truly wonderful. Lindsay (physiotherapist) and Jessica (massage therapist) are incredibly knowledgeable and kind and I feel very lucky to have found them! They are constantly attending classes and seminars to remain at the cutting edge of their fields. You will not find a better physio and massage therapist anywhere. If you're living with any pain, book with them and they will change your life!

I have been seeing Lyndsay (physio) and Jessica (RMT) for almost a year now. I came in with significant lower back pain and rotator cuff issues. Both have been resolved. The vast knowledge, competence and sound practice exhibited by these two is the reason why. I have seen multiple RMTs and PTs over the years, as well as doctors in various specializations before coming to NSC. None of them have been able to direct and execute a recovery plan. Ignore the other highly rated facilities in Calgary- the best practitioners are here.

I have been going to National Spine Care for quite a few years. The staff is friendly, and appointments are always on time. Yet, I have never felt rushed with the many questions I ask. I have seen both Lindsay (physiotherapist) and Gordon (a Chiropractor), I would recommend both of them. They are both very knowledgeable and amicable.

I have suffered from back pain for many years, and I am recently contemplating surgery for a herniated disc. Knowing that surgery is not ideal, I decided to look into decompression. After seeing a chiropractor at a different clinic who quoted me $5,000, for decompression along with other treatments, I decided to seek out other options. That's when I started to seeing Gordon, whose price was a lot more reasonable, and his knowledge of working with surgeons was invaluable. With his help my sciatica pain is subsiding, along with my back pain. I have not finished treatment yet, but I am feeling optimistic that it can be avoided.

Reva is an amazing! A regular massage with Reva has gotten rid of the aches and pains from endless sitting and too much computer work.

I'm new to the whole chiro/physio scene, but a first time hip injury forced my hand. The staff at National are fantastic to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Edgecombe in particular has been a pleasure, and she's got me back to full range of motion just in time for ice season! I know where I'll be coming with any future back or hip issues.

Everyone is super friendly, and I'm so pleased at the variety of modalities that the clinic has to offer. Dr. Edgecombe has tried various treatments until we found what works. It's been two years since I first walked into see Dr. McMorland. I was having periodic issues with my hips where I was, at times, rendered immobile. I am not flexible, at all, which is something I share with all my friends from our year of birth (1977 model defect perhaps?). I have ridden horses for 30+ years and I am sure between that and my horrible posture are the reasons my hips were getting so angry. From the first visit and assessment Dr. McMorland has been a master at getting my hips and life back on track. While a quick visit can help fix the problem he also provided videos and resources to help in-between visits which were especially helpful during COVID lock down. Plus he is very personable with a great sense of humor. Office staff are always pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend. Total game changer!

I started coming to National Spine Care 3 months ago with chronic nerve and back pain that I had for a year straight that was so severe it was taking over my life. Doctors and specialists would turn me away and say nothing is wrong but I couldn’t sit or stand and even walking was excruciating. When I got to this clinic I was very helpless and figured I couldn’t be helped. I started getting treatment from Dr. Katherine Edgecombe (chiro) and now doing physio with Lindsay. They listened to my story, knew what was wrong and exactly how to help me. I am finally on the road to recovery and seeing huge improvement. They are both very professional, knowledgeable, understanding, welcoming but most importantly they LISTEN. I highly recommend anyone who is suffering from chronic pain to please come to this clinic! You won’t regret it. All the staff are very professional and so friendly. Such an amazing experience, you both have drastically changed my life and I am forever grateful.

I have been seeing Reva for months now as I regularly come in for a 60 minute deep tissue massage with her. Reva is wonderful! I have had neck and back muscle spasms and shoulder issues and her technique and deep tissue massage made all the difference. Great pressure, great technique, attentive and a great listener. Reva works out tough tension spots in a way I didn’t even know was possible! She always makes me feel better.

I was prepared to quit running and give up the sport that makes me truly feel like myself due to continuous pain and then I was referred to this clinic. The only word to describe myself when I first same to the clinic was frustrated. Frustrated at myself, the injury and previous treatments that just weren't cutting it. Dr. Edgecombe helped me create a personal plan to get back to running safely and pain free and to my surprise I am running pain free today! Dr. Edgecombe is very knowledgeable and I appreciate how she also knows when to tone down treatments and give the body a bit of time to process the adjustments. I really can't say enough about this clinic and how it has changed my outlook on my injury and running going forward!

All the staff at the clinic has been highly professional with what they do, from the chirporactors, physiotherapists, massage therapists to the front desk staff. Dr. Batinic and Dr. Henderson have been amazing at helping me manage my lower back, wrist and neck pain, showing great care in my progress and giving me rehabilitation exercises.
